I think they are actually stronger, utilizing maybe the adrenal glands and no logic/thinking to slow them down - a faster burning candle if you know what I mean -

I had this same problem on my favorite server - the owner added a "end" command of some sort to the loading screen "script" - I dont claim to know what that all means or how it works I do know it fixed the problem for just me but everyone else who was experiencing this issue on the server

I would just keep in the back of your mind that your Char can be wiped at any time - because it will happen from time to time, it may just soften the blow for ya

Im still getting this on certain servers but not always on those same servers, sometimes i just have to spam start it (start, sticks on loading screen i can hear myself moving, close game repeat) very annoying, if I get stuck enough i just move on to another game - theres gotta be a fix for this (im not trying to get on older versions or exspansions/mods I havent installed) -

did you verify the files (via steam armaII and OA) - what method are you playing with ( DayZCommander, Launcher...) -
I usually just spawn in, start a conversation and get shot or punched in the face halfway through, I cant help it I just want to interact 8)

What do you mean "non steam OA" - disk version? if so just use your key to add to your library

No through steam - in your steam library go to Arma II and Arma OA right click them go to properties, then the local files tab - under that hit Verify integrity for each one -

Have you updated DZC fully, and the arma II (in DZC), verified your arma and oa via steam - when you first got the package (arma and oa) did you run them first before anything else - I also use launcher (just to have 2 in case one f's up) -
I would just keep trying high pop servers bound to run into someone - I just logged in the other day for the first time in a couple months, found a guy in polana right off (i spawned right by polana) i started a conversation, he seemed nice enough, then halfway into it he punched me in the face - heh usual dayz story 8)

They will be rare and the right parts equally as rare - you can read up on this but im sure you wont - Thxs I love you too man 8)

Im curious how a car would make a difference for you. especially since even if they were out you wouldn't have one nor be getting one anytime soon

bottom line is Steam needs to do some work on this they really F'd up here - meanwhile im using both Commander and Launcher to play on the servers i like, since for no doubt steam reasons they both dont play/see the same servers
