I think its just a matter of time and exp with the game and how it works - I find the zombies to be slow and doing very little damage easy to deal with, personally i would like them to be harder to deal with I havent gotten sick in ages (I dont eat anything but apples and a cans of food and only drink from pumps) which being used to the map I know where to find them Perhaps your sticking to the coast? move inland to less traveled towns works for me everytime

I know the pain - me and a friend have been looking for choppers lately but havent found a single one yet 8X - but thats okay we have a good time chatting and just enjoying the dayz sights 8)

I have zero problems getting energized and hydrated - while I do agree it should probably take longer to get hungry/thirsty You do know about apple trees right?

All my guns and ammo couldn't protect me from getting sick and dying :(

The downloads from the launcher have never been fast for me I just let them run overnight if I recall and even then had to verify and repair a couple - -
Its not done being worked on, im sure it will be adjusted

Wasn't working for me as well, although I don't drink from ponds because you can get sick - I just ate apples/berries and some cans to get my hydr. up - didn't get a chance to try bottles or canteens yet either

Or you could try trusting (or hoping and keeping one eye open) - yes you will be shot, stabbed, robbed, and a few dozen other unsettling things, but some very interesting experiences happen here and sometimes you make great friends and have awesome interactions - if nothing you learn allot 8)

How are you joining the servers, through steam, the dayz launcher? Have you verified the game via steam yet? Are you joining a vanilla or mod of the mod?
