Came across a couple guys trying to lure people. I think i've played dayz standalone long enough to recognize people trying to be tricky. It was a good ploy though, i'll hand them that because I don't know how the guy came up behind us when we just went through those trees. My buddy who died came back to our location and was killed again. So he came back AGAIN and watched them for a bit and they were shooting up the area at bambis. Yeah I'm trying to find a different weapon to retire the Mosin/Long Range Scope. I use a PU Scope but there's more drift on that too. I think it's back to the M4 for me.

I was at the NW Airfield watching zeds respawn. I stood by the ATC and used my axe and then there would be another that would pop into view standing there. A zombie horde would be intense if they would add something like that!

They were bandits and my teammates found out the hard way. End of story.

It shouldn't take a genius to see what the video entails especially with the depth of explaining my intent from the moment I got killed for being friendly.

Back story that my friend got killed in the school. These guys admitted they were bandits, but wanted to care for her which was weird and they handcuffed her and beat her. We were south on the coast trying to get to her after another bandit attack in Elektro. I don't kill indiscriminately, but I do shoot bandits without prejudice. They were lured out and killed righteously. Didn't you watch the video?

I'm wondering who uses what mode to play. Windowed mode or Full Screen. Seems I can really turn up my settings in windowed mode with the ability to adjust any size window I want. Another things I've been noticing is that when I open Task Manager, Dayz starts with a Low Priority and I'll switch that to Normal or Above Normal. I ran Game Booster by iobit, but i really don't notice any fps increase or studder so I quit using it because I adjust the size of my windowed mode. I play windowed mode even though I have a AMD 6770 1Gb vid and i7 2600 CPU, plus I have most of my settings on low with the FPS enhancer forum post where you change some of your dayz.cfg settings. I've read several posts that making sure your render resolution in-game is 100% and that's helped.

Yeah I just tried full screen at 1080 res and got 31fps using dxtory. Windowed mode, I get 60fps easily and running through an open field I hit almost 90fps. I have a i7-2600, 8Gb RAM, 1Gb AMD 6700 series card. You lose gamma control, but not brightness for some reason. These are my profile settings in notepad. sceneComplexity=150000; shadowZDistance=100; viewDistance=1200; preferredObjectViewDistance=1200; terrainGrid=25;

Yeah I always resize the window. You can adjust it to any size plus switching your render resolution back to 100%. I guess its user preference, but it works better for me, I'm just wondering what other people use.

It's the nature of the game, kill or be killed either by a zombie, someone else, or your dumb luck. It gets boring trying to keep your gear and moving around trying to be safe. Stay on the coast and gain some evade and capture kills, so basically learn to hunt(loot) and watch for bandits

They just kept pushing forward though recklessly with hardly any cover. The one duded that got shot in the pack was engaging us while his friend moved up from the military base and thats when I didn't get to hit fraps in time and he shot at me when I poked my head from behind the fuel tank.
