maybe removing the ALT F4 button is the right wording. but making is so once you leave the game in any way or any reason your character will stay in game for 20 seconds or so more. This means when people log out of the game they have to run to a place they think will be safe. just like real life when going to sleep

Like I said. download the logs and you can see who is hacking. when your group is being his and they are teleporting it doesn't show in the logs however or if someone is invincible. For a while we had a guy play with us who used his hack to counter hackers only. so when we were driving around or farming for gear and we got hit he could see the guy teleporting and we would ban him. then we would play like normal. Note every time he used his hack he would lose all his stuff and once playing normal again he would be back on the beach like everyone else. its part of the hack they dont save like a normal character so they are less fun. but a hacker cracked the shits the other week when he was killing everyone and our mate killed him and he reported our mate and he got banned, but so did the other hacker

We know that area very well we had a few camps set on in that area on your sever so this could be fun. PM me your server details please and I will ask the others. We will drive over to the area on our server and log over to yours :) as for learning how to download files to get the game work maybe you should jump in the trouble shooting folder to help everyone because your leet? as for myself I havent changed one thing and neither has the server and I cant play when I was playing just 8 hours ago. and everyone else we are playing with who is playing hasent changed a thing.

folic_acid I am not my server admin but what he does is he downloads the logs. it shows what names log in with what gea and what they pick up and so on. Next to their name it shows a number which is bound to that persons account. from there he bans the players number not his name so even if the hacker changes his name he cant get in the server. And he justifies his ban by showing the logs of the person hacking. The logs are something like 600mb downloads but

lol have the balls. you tell me the position you are in and me and my mates will all come on a friday night. you should know its much easier to take a position in a game so we will have the advantage. unless one of you has a hack and can see us on the map. Many people have hacks and use it minimum just so they have an advantage but not so much that people get suspect. sounds like your one of these people. But PM me your location and we will all come. however many of us cant get in the game right now stuck on loading

yeah I have found a few C4's spawn at the barracks so they are not just a hack. A usefull tool would be for server admins so see the hackers online. If ther admin could see everyone on the map then it would fix this. he would be able to see people teleport and ban their IP addrsss or whatever it is. when people are being hit the server admin can see if the guy is playing legit or cheating. he would see that the hacker was killed and should be omn the coast but when he can see him suddenly at the NW airfield then you know somethings up

just as con7act and Skully said. my grup of people at one point had about 6 cars stached and tents geared after much farming. on the weekends we will make a trip to chern and leave a buss with some gear we dont want for people to take. if they can get it that is. one weekend was a failure however due to a hacker teleporting all over the place killing nearly all of us. by the time we got to chern the bus was trashed but we kicked the hacker who was spawning in all types of gear to kill us. then we played against some real players which was fun and some people teamed up. playing solo is very boring. with guys its much more fun but for the people who dont get a chance to team up with others its hard for them to get by on their own. just like real life.

the game is hard? I am going solo for the last few days and made it to 500+ kills with endless ammo for my M4A1 CCO SD and my thermal sight weapon. All I do is scope out the airfield and kill zimbies with 1 shot. I attract no attention day or night with NVG's. If I see someone in my way I shoot them with my little 5.56 weapon from up to 400-500m away using my range finder. I have food and water and think now what do I do. how am I stupid?? if you think the game is hard then fuck you really suck

For 2 days now I have not been able to play dayz. I find a server and it all loads properly but just before where you would see creating character or setup complete the game closes and i get a message saying A2 OA have stopped working and will close and its finding a solution and if one found i willbe notified. I was getting the wrong CD key on setup was given as well but not anymore. I have installed the latest beta patch and the two files from battleye. I have the latest version which i installed manualy and with 6 launcher. I have also done the game integrity check 3 times help

myself and about 10 others have now quit the game. its turned in to a death match and there are far too many hackers. People not dying after being shot 30 rounds and then killing you in 2 shots. The game has lost the whole survival idea. I mean you can survice for weeks without dying easy. just collect heaps of food and water and go where no one else goes. now if its a simulation you need others to survive. you need someone to watch you while you sleep. you need someone to heal you when sick. you need someone to repaid your weapons and this can take a large group of people. there is nothing about the game or mod that is a simulation. its a death match. in real life bandits wuld not be killing anyone just for the kill. if the bandit shot they would need to defend themselves from the zombies they attract. if bandits shot all the survivors and bandits making the human race non existant then how do they survive on their own. they will last 2 weeks before death. on the other hand peoiple who stick together can all look out for eachother against a group of bandits. Bandits should get a penalty or something for killing other bandits and get a reward for killing a survivor. and survivors should get a penalty for killing others but rewards for killing bandits. this stops the whole kill anyone for any reason at all. now this is not a simulator because bandits are usually badly geared because they die often. this means they dont care if they die. in real life they care about dying there is no respawn button. also when you die your right where you started months ago when you first logged in. since they had taken bandit skins away its a deathmatch killing new spawns for no reason. in real life this does not happen. that new spawn might be a person who fixes things usefull for survivors but useless to bandits. or the other way around. if each faction had a goal, for example bandits were suposto take over a town or something and survivours were to defend the town and power plants or something. and bandits needed the town to get ammo or supplies or a currency this would be more of a goal for players. The game needs a purpose because people were quitting after 2 weeks of play. people are sick of people killing people for no reason and when the killer dies he is respawned and lost nothing mut a kll count where as someone who is trying to survive which is the goal of the game is shot after not shooting anyone. and the bandit doesn't care because he didn;t try to play the game and survive

Once again my mate was shot and killed with a pistol by a server hopper named Mina. In was in the building watching where he was shot which had only 1 entry point. I was watching the entry point and the guy logged in and loged out cos he knew i was there and chenged positions to inside the building then changed back to the server behind me and shot me. Same weapon as before. server hopping should ban peoples CD keys and stop them from palying. its teleporting which is cheating. easy fix. people can not log in within 50m or 100m from where someone else is. a time delay is pointles people of looting will be in the same area for a period of time if looting or ptotecting a body Think about the game halo. you cant respawn if someone is in combat or cose to enemies. it should be the same here

that will work as well. that means people have to be carefull where they log out just in real life where they sleep. otherwise I may was well play COD or BF3 and get 100 kills in 20 mins or play this and play for 5 hours trying to survive and get killed by a server hopper

well that would fix it as well. say u log out the next time you log in it will change your location to a place close by where there is no1. this defeats the purpose of server hopping. server hopping for loot is wrong as well. if they try to make this game realistic in any way then there is no teleporting around or to different worlds in seconds where there is fresh loot. server hopping just involves no skill or game play only exploits / takes advantage of the game. take advantage of anything in the real world you will go to jail. cheat or exploit the game then you should be banned from the game. simple

Server hoppers need to stop. The hundreds of people at my work all say the same thing regarding them. if your protecting a base you have made to survive in I think people should not be able to spawn within maybe 50m from you. all people. this will stop people looking at a sniper or someone protecting a mates body or protecting an area, stop players changing servers and running to where the guys are and changing back to the server where the guys are and shooting them then logging off and changing positions again. they should not be allowed to server hop in barracks and loot 20 barracks buildings within 30 minutes. server hopping I think is cheating its just like teleporting. I think server admins have the right to kick these guys as well and the people that get kicked should not make threads reporting abuse. Another fix is that when people spawn in they are ghosts and they have to run a distance from players and zombies before they return to propper form

nah it can stay the same size just make it so there is a pendig screen too close to players or something. and Dreganius if you read my post you will see my suggestions

i am not even going to read all this bullshit. I cant believe how many people are crying because we reported them to the admin because they were server hopping and the admin kicked them. Its not my server but geesh what a bunch of babies what are you all like 50kg 15 year old kids who are a pussy wimp bitch in real life and cant handle playing a game by the rules. I also said nothing about hacking in any weapons or anything i am not a low life weak skiny or overweight kid who doesn;t have a girlfriend and needs to try bully people over a computer lol

who said sitting in chern is cheating? i am saying exploiting the game is cheating. which the admin has been kicking. I think every server admin should be doing this dont you? or maybe you should tell battle eye not to ban people who are cheating and exploiting. if so take it up with them

he has the rights to kick who he wants. if people are cheating then he has the right to kick them. this is what he has done. i dont see what you are trying to say. peopel who have played the game and tried to take us in a fair fight we have not reported them to the admin because PKing is part of the game we agree. putting no PK deturs people who just want to play to kill and not survive and players who want to hack and server hop exploiting the rules. Really i think you should just shut up and actualy enforce no cheating like we are trying to on this server. I see people being killed in the log all the time and the admin not kicking people so he is not kicking anyone otherwise =DRN= would be the only players

honestly i dont think any of us even used the camp. we only put gear in to it. I know over the last month i only added to the pile and took nothing and so did many others. however we dont play like you guys killing or hunting people. if we see people we try to avoide them and let them do their thing. killing someone does nothing for us we dont need their gear. the game is about survival. if it was real we would have many many people wanting to bunk with us in out camp to sleep, eat and live. we just want to establish a base camp and defend it and get gear. then we want to change servers and go to chern and have a well organised team. alot of our team are just every day people but many a few of us have more skills which we would like to try and use in here. but teaching these over a game is hard to people with no training
