again guys, bringing up the dead on this topic since saturday(pheraps?) my game constantly crashes, every session takes about 10 min, and even after using the "flush" command, it keeps crashing, anyway, just wanted to know if its related to me or you guys experiencing it aswell!!

Hey guys, i posted this on my own topic about this and thought about posting it here too!! the game seems to not crash me while on servers with only 1st person perspective!! can someone confirm??

Hey man!! You happen to have a nvidia gtx series?? When your game crashes do not do anything until the desktop appears, press "shift" and "-", let go, and type "flush" It will return you to the game(altough you may have some glitches until restarted) -

Yep It is a problem regarding gtx series ( i believe 500 and lower) Affects also some ati too What i do( temporary measure) Is when your game crashes, do not do anything until you can see your desktop Hold "shift" + "-" and type "flush" ( simple as that) the game will reset graphics and will come back after a small delay ( forgot to mention that you don't need to keep pressing shift and - while typing, just press them both, release, and type) There are some glitches after that( disapearing text, color correction is diferent, etc...) but will allow you to continue playing without quiting!!

Hey man!! not quite sure if it is the same problem, but do you happen to have a nvidia GTX series?? or if the problem was solved with that fix i would love to hear about it!!

aha i have tried to bring reason but to no avail man! the "i know it's alfa but..." will keep coming , do not doubt that but Great point of view!!

I do have good settings on it, but i have a singular problem with my card, i cannot "stress" the card too much, for exemple, run around too much thus asking the card to create more textures, it overloads after a bit and it crashes the driver ( it is a known problem with some cards and Dayz SA engine ) the problem is from neither of them, it's just a compatibility problem, not their fault!! but apart from that, the game runs quite smooth with médium settings, only sometimes those lag spikes happen but stabilizes after a second!!

Hi there Mate you said "this looks as if I am desyncing massively on my other friends' screens..:" it is strange, (i am no expert) but if it was just your hardware, i believe it would not show anything in another players pc, only you would see it?? then again, it might be such a serious hardware hangup that the connection itself might freeze?? do you have any programs updating in the back??(one example is Smite's launcher ,it is by default to always run updates on the background, and like Steam when it is updating brings my PC to its knees) just some ideas man, not sure if usefull Also, on other games, is the PC stable?? -
Well, i cannot run Metro 2033 at maximum settings, well, i could but it always gave me low fps and it would be almost impossible to aim properly so it must be some setting you are not seeing? if not, i cannot help you anymore Amachie posted a vídeo on tweaking various things, see if any of the steps helps you out !!

Hi there, i have a GPU just like yours, i believe mine is even lower, and i do not loose as much FPS in town, i usually get around 50FPS with médium details!! have you tried to lower your resolution?? both in game and appearance?? usually is what is most noticeable on performance but i fear your CPU is what is creating such low FPS

No mate, it seems specific to the game itself(no other programs interfere) altough might help on the timing of it, but not necessarily on its cause!! I have tried all settings ranging from low to high( no ultra or very low) but FPS gain seems to have no influence, the only influence that i have noticed is how fast you "ask" the game for graphic generation(moving around too much) What is your GPU???

By the way A side note: my game only crashes if i move(especially run) too much, if i stay in the same spot (around a few buildings and not leave the area) the game does not crash!! ( but it has also happened on the menu aswell when idle) I believe it has something to do with "overflooding" of the graphics creation thus crashing the driver I have also contacted nvidia but i have yet to receive an answer!!

Damn it I was sure it was bound to the nvidia GTX series and very rarely some ATI series but not the ATI radeon HD series

Is the char you currently have still the same from previous builds? What about bandwidth and desync values? Have you checked for something else asking for internet resources in the background? Is this the only game that this happens(delayed responses)

Yep, can confirm! i normally closed it down, thought it was na error due to me installing new Nvidia drivers!! -
Hey man, i have the same problem, you have a Nvidia GTX series right? i updated the drivers and i always crash twice and need to do the "flush" command to get the game back up i believe before updating wasn't any better so, no fix yet!

Problem's with ALL weapons i pick up

Check for desyinc or lag , pheraps something weird with the server, only happens with a single character or have you died and continues the same? also, you must press "space"(default) to be in fire position, if not on that stance i think you need the press the "fire" key a little bit longer (not sure about this) last option, check if the key is binded correctly -
Personally on my PC, i always need to change between headphones and speakers before entering any full screen application!! But for the original poster, it seems he cannot at any time?? Like this always works!!
