Hello mate!! has to be 3rd party software , check that G35 headset software for hotkeys, check steam aswell, don't know man, pheraps you binded caps for mute somehow, are you using anything in the background while playing dayz? TS,Skype?

aha, i once killed a guy like that!! and also got killed the same way --> thrice!! all online games, you appear on the "world" before you start rendering anything! i'm gonna play the fan card here and tell you to take some morphine...for the pain...

Hello everyone!! new to the fórum, and a few months old on dayz!! Love it, so much potential, even these early builds give a great sense of what the game really is!! Want to also congratulate Bohemia Interactive for a great title!! Well, on the topic then: i have a GTX 260 from nvidia and the game usually minimizes to the desktop after some minutes(usually ranged from being in the main menu,until an hour or so) the game keeps "normally" on the background and i can hear the sounds,i can even move but i cannot go back to the game (i believe the Driver crashes,sometimes the error appears on the bottom right but usually it's so fast i can't read what is the content) i am writing here in the fórum to see if someone actually has found a "fix" or some way around it, i have tried steam, Google it, the forums here(some talk about it but yet no fix) the knowledge i was able to gather was that it is somehow related to PhysX but some ATI cards have it too so i don't know how accurate this information is ( and you cannot disable PhysX anymore on the options) and also it has happened since the release of Arma2, i believe it is related to the engine itself rather than Bohemia's Masterpiece! my only question to the Devs is, are you aware of this and have any hope to fix it??if it is engine related i think it's gonna be next to impossible no?? One temporary fix i managed to try was increasing vídeo memory in the options menu, it doesn't crash as often as it would do on lower memory options but still does!! Other than that the game runs smooth,couple of fps drops but nothing noticeable!! well you just did exactly what the "others" did, that were the reason for you to leave in the first place, which is whining about the game!! they are putting an effort to it, i saw great improvement in graphic quality after this patch(or a placebo effect don't know) but the game looks much smoother, great new animations, áreas being re-worked/added, new items, as you said, still a long way but that "if they don't add much more content the game will die" is bull... a true fan will not give a crap about that... which is what the early access is for...fans...

Hi guys!! Just a sugestion!! later in development when clicking play, you could select between browsing servers for 3pp on and servers for kind of a hardcore mode with it off with another pure hardcore mode that would select a random hardcore mode server that you could not see how many players it would have in it before and after joining(would never put you on an empty server) and to not even know which is the servers name and/or IP !! it would include the possibility for a 3rd character pheraps?? later into the game i believe it would be a great way to give it another atmosphere,more tense, and with more tweaks in the future aswell!!

lol, like the point of view as it is true, but you cannot silence the rage of someone who just KOS'd as things would be in real life, there are guys who would shoot you on sight and those that would try to interact!! it is life, as you said, pheraps one is out of instinct, other to prevent a gun fight and solve the situation right there, another because he is a hunter! millions of players, millions of moods, millions of possible encounters and outcomes! it's just a question of where you are in it! if on the bad side, you rage against KOS!! it is exactly the same as the 3pp and 1pp, never ending battle and it would only need to say "Each get their own server, you want 1pp you play 1pp, you want 3pp you get 3pp, what's so hard about that????"

Hey man!! Enjoy, things are close to becoming way better!!! 1- there are servers that do say experimental on the top left, never knew why either, but you are on the correct version!! 2- at the moment it is only on experimental build, all things point towards it going to stable this next monday!!!! 3- there is voice and texto communication, both only at a certain distance from another player!! voice seems to be quite good, and it is the best way to communicate in the game once you notice how fast paced it is on encounters!! 4- there are servers for testing only or are having troubles connecting to the hive, so, in some you will start from scratch but you can re-join that server that you already had something going on and all will be the same(hopefully) anyway, there are some guys around here that post gameplay for new guys!! enjoy it and play it as it should be played!!!

have you tried matching the resolutions on both user interface and the screen itself?? any profile saved on your GPU's software??(nvidia uses it for exemple,do not know about others!!) does it do only on dayz?? ingame already, try to mess around with the vídeo configuration, augmenting or decreasing texture quality, might be something "stuck"?

the same with the zombie attacks, but not only!! altough disabling vsync to me allowed much more continous plays, it still crashes its true!! (i am not sure but having a browser open causes it to crash "earlier", especially on object pages,like flash players or something and i use IE)

I love the loops on every thread, you talk about how its alpha, someone talks about how rubbish it is being on alpha and slow development you talk about slow development because things are being done simply they are not yet being implemented because they are being tested, someone talks about how the devs run away with the Money you talk that the devs did not run with the Money they are investing the Money on the game, someone says "shutup fan boy" this early access is for the fan boys damn it, dean was right, they should have put a much higher price on the early access... be patient, this is an investment, free updates, tons of new content everymonth, and if not every month, its the next one thing is criticizing something that you know about, another is speaking of things you clearly have no knowledge of

There is a desyinc with the client and the server that sometimes to you is night time and to another player is still daytime, might have been that(do not know if this problem still in the game) might have been that

Well my first kill was on a French guy on the police station(don't remember the town), i said i saw him going into the building but i never understood if he was speaking to me as there was another player in the área but he kept asking in french if i spoke french, until he bursted out of the station and started shooting, i sprinted to the surrounding Wall trying to pin his location again until i saw him and then managed to get a straight shot at his head, i think he was just nervous as it seemed he couldn't understand me lol,poor bastard my last kill is a bit more interesting(it was a few hours ago, i had some time and decided to join the last server i was on, 1st pp only, i had an heart attack when i saw the player list on joining, Full) i was on a tower, descended from it, saw a guy looting the shelves on the garage, said hi, seemed like a good fella, had a mosin yet no ammo, offered him a loaded .22 pistol, as soon as we were exiting the garage i said to him "watch out for other guys, the server is full and easy to pick up someone" as soon as i said that, i heard a shot and asked "was that you man??", looked at him to see him falling in the ground silent(hope he doesn't think i did it lool) i ran to take cover between some walls trying to figure out where the shot came from and the only building that had Windows facing the building we just left had to be the 2story red house in front of it, i have a mosin with me with long range scope,saw a tiny bit of a red helmet, didn't risk the shot as i had only 1 bullet on it( for 3 days i was roaming cities and found no ammo for it, was starting to go nuts) but i had a FNX pistol and 2 clips for it ran around, entered it, saw him looking through the window, wasted an entire clip on him as i was shaking like hell(no other game gives this damn scary feeling) he had a mosin, and about 40 rounds, because i shot him so many times, i ruined everything on him lool(but managed to take 4 rounds of his loaded mosin)

lool, its hilarious how he rallyes so much ppl , he's like Dean live on the game i have been watching his vídeos aswell as Chow ones, great stuff

Guys, great news!!! a Developer answered in the bug report área, all you have to do is disable Vsyinc, as for the experimental build they say it has been fixed!!! (have tested it, the game wanted to crash 2 tmes, started the hang ups, but much shorter and does not crash at all)
