If you must travel more safely, I suggest hopping on the EU server. It's 1PP, but your character is shared between the two servers and that one usually has fewer people in it.

The ones that you grow yourself from pumpkin seeds yes, but not the random pumpkin patches you see around the map that have always been there.

Make your way there in a truck -- for safety! I don't think safety will be a concern in that regard. I'll definitely assist you in growing if you'd like.

I would be interested in either an ACOG or red dot optic of some sort for an MP5. I could use a compensator for it as well, which I could trade my pistol suppressor for.

By "no hive wipe" I'm assuming they really meant "no persistence wipe". To me, hive wipe implies the characters, not the stuff on the ground. A small oversight/translation issue I'm sure.

As of right now, the previously-announced location of Otmel Island will continue. I've got ideas in mind if it needs to be moved even last-minute, but for now I think that location will provide us some nice open area to have fun.

I'd like everyone to try and bring their own flare gun at least. Those are easy to find, so even if you have to grab one last minute that's not a big deal. I'd bring enough for everyone, but persistence is turned off and I can't carry that many :p I do have about 30 flare rounds of my own saved up in case people show up without any or need extra. I've also got a six pack of kvass, but I'm limited on how much of that I can realistically carry as well. Besides the flare gun, bring anything you think might contribute. If you plan on participating in the potential archery competition, perhaps bring a bow and some chicken feathers with you.

Bring some uncooked meat if you can! If you need to travel, it's much safer to do so on the lower-population EU server. Grr, you're right. I forgot :(

If you're following the posted IP addresses, you should be fine. The servers will both say "Musty Gaming" right in the name. I assure you they are a [shared] private hive, not public. To be sure, join and see if it loads your public character; if it does, it's probably not the right server. I have no raw meat on my Musty Gaming character right now for this exact reason. Meat might be limited at the party unfortunately :( At the very least, we can fish to our heart's content and have a fish fry. The fish can't run away as easily ;) Sometimes you need to "Cancel Current Action" and try it again. It often takes me two attempts to get it to actually take.

That one was pretty looted, for sure. I've found a Huey crash site in that same spot before and it was similarly barren (here, in Kamenka). Holy cow! :o

I plan on announcing the location of the event no later than tomorrow, that way everyone will have a chance to get there ahead of time if need be.

We have a number of options on the table for event security. I don't think it will be an issue, but if it is, we'll be able to deal with it ;)
