 At least I provided easy-to-read text!
-
That's the best I can do, sorry :p

Everybody play nice, now ;) Judgement should be reserved for when the full presentation is made available. This is just a "teaser" of sorts, nothing more.
-
I don't think we'll be let down with the end result :) Those topics were never intended for today's presentation.
-
It was nice to see them reaffirm commitment to certain things and give us a better idea of what their end goals are in some areas. Wishing we had a better view of those concept drawings for base building :(

I think so!

Teaser from my very first 1440p album:

You're right, that's probably way more likely. I can't imagine them allowing such a loophole either, it wouldn't be good practice.

That can't be entirely true, given how Hicks demonstrated the Winchester prior to its release a few months back. He, and he alone, had a Winchester (which could then be looted from his dead body eventually). It was possible because the gun and its ammunition were in the files, but I have no idea how he actually spawned it into the world. I would imagine that developers have their own, higher-clearance client for the game that allows for such functions.

Some of you may not be aware, but Associate Producer Eugen Harton spoke at GDC Europe yesterday on the subject of anti-cheat. Though this was intended more for developers, I thought that a few on the forums may find it interesting as well. He recaps what he and the team have been through trying to make the game a better place for everyone and lessons learned along the way. Today (Tuesday), DayZ Underground is doing a Q&A with a few members of the team as well. If they don't mind, I'll be sharing the results of that here as well :) Below is a synopsis of Eugen's presentation by Gamasutra editor Alex Wawro:

Hoping to have Q&A info to share later. Not sure when that's happening. -
It took a while, but I'm finally back for week 3. Since it took so long, today we have three towns in the form of neighbors Kamensk, Krasnoe, and Stary Yar: http://imgur.com/a/EbBi5

That will make a proper comeback when they give that building some attention. In the mean time... I will not be silent about my OUTRAGE at the upper level of this tower not being enterable. It's ABSURD, and UNCALLED FOR!

I've made 90 DayZ videos in exactly a year. Here are some highlights from that time. One! [14mins 43 secs]

It's been fun to watch your videos progress. Congrats on your accomplishment, TRMZ! :) -
Now that there's a convenient web app for creating Deep Dream images, I figured I would give it a shot with some of my screenshots to see what the results might be. I'll showcase some of the more interesting/beautiful results below. Feel free to share your own! :) I'm going to post the original first, then the various "transformed" versions of it. "Running With a Flare" "Sniper on the Hill" "Truck in Novy" "4th of July in Novo" "Lighthouse on the Hill"
-
There are all kinds of other filters, about 15 or so in total. Feel free to check them out (link in the OP) :)
-
Thanks, Odin! :) I'm not usually into trends myself, but someone sparked the idea in my head and the results were too interesting not to share. Many filters just looked weird or noisy, so I didn't bother with them, and many screenshots aren't really suitable for "transformation" if you will. Glad you enjoyed them!

Thanks! Don't want to sound like I'm promoting, but I used this web app to do it ;)
