the core of the problem is dayz being an anti-game. it is not supposed to be fun in a way that traditional games are. people shouldnt buy dayz if they dont like this. but they do it anyway and use hacks and cheats to make it more enjoyable for theirselves while ruining the game for everybody else who wants to play dayz the way its meant to be played. Why arent the faggots just sticking to COD? Maybe because dayz has a bigger map. maybe other reasons.

reflectors need to work properly during night tho. especially when theres cars you could see reflective posts along roads far beyond the visible cone of light of the car. not to mention other players with reflective strips on their backpacks with a flashligt

the zoom is used to compensate what you could see irl in the situation and has nothing to do with focusing or concentrating on stuff. your computer screen is tiny and low res and cant display details in the distance that you can see irl with the fuckmassive field of view and "resolution" of your eyes.

I could make one in 5 mins in real life and see how reliable it is outside compared to a real compass. Maybe later

they can put it in the TOS and on store page. a notifcation that external voip programs during the game are not allowed personally i see no problem. hacking programs well some of them are completely legit debugging software which is being abused by people

true. but if you are wandering inland and are planning to keep going northwest its easy to lose sense of direction when you get food from cities on the way. to make cimpass materials common, junk piles such as those found by streets ane junkyards should be lootable and contain crap like magnets needles empty milk cartins and stuff

it is very much possible to ban teamspeak and all other external voip programs if dayz scans current processes. if you have ts open dayz could display an pop up message saying those programs arent allowed with dayz and that it has closed the programs.

at the moment compasses are rare to find. there needs to be a way of improvising one. like needle in a sawed in half water bottle or a pond or river or something.
