I once spawned inside a building, not standing on one of the floors but literally inside the building due to a glitch - I was a part of it and could see two people above me. Excitedly I came over vicinity chat and started playing "Eye of the Tiger" while shooting my SKS which impacted right in front of me obviously but was meant to scare them. Overall funny experience.

I handle a variety of military weapons on a weekly basis at a minimum. The M4 is not a loud weapon, yes supersonic ammunition is louder than subsonic but by comparison it is still a very quiet weapon compared to others. You have a shotgun that takes 5.56mm?

I fail to see the difference You can kill bambi killers in game - coming to the forums to rage about them wont do anything to help the freshies that need your aid along the coast. So you're saying police and a justice system would still exist and have a purpose in a world of no crime? Its not a good thing robbers, thieves and murderers exist, and I never said that it was but if they didn't then there would be no need for the police or legal system. Just like it may not be a good thing that bandits exist but without them your hero ideology would have no place in this game. I said you need them to have your purpose as a hero, in no way did I say it is a good thing. Don't try to twist things to make them sound like I am advocating real world violence. Many bandits I have encountered are on a power trip and go slaughtering bambis for fun. Most heroes power trip because they think theyre better than the bandit population in their self-righteous crusade. No one is better than the other - like I said you need (maybe not want, but need) OP's kind in the game to have some sort of opposition otherwise there would be nothing to protect bambis from - even if you don't want to admit/accept it thats how it is. This alone makes your point of view valid. Everyone has their own playstyle - coming to the forums and raging at someone wont change how they play. Beans for you.

I'll throw this in before I go - I don't mean that the M4 doesn't give a supersonic crack but people seem to think firing an M4 should sound like a 155mm shot out of a M777.

They need to be so they can be throughly tested as we are in alpha. "At this stage in the game" doesn't matter in the slightest - its what the final product will become that is important and it has already been said many many times that M4s and military gear in general will become rarer as improvised items come into play. By the way, some real life experience for you. 30 round mags are military standard. The M4 has incredibly low recoil. The M4 is not as loud as people think.

Thats how you fix a broken limb, so better start crawling to a hospital or medical hut. Maybe contact your friends/squad/clan or if you don't have any of those try requesting a medic on the forums and describe your location. I never requested a medic before but from what I've read they are actually quite good and are usually willing to help.

Calling someone out/threatening them over forums and flaming them for their opinion on something is unnecessary. Lets not escalate the situation. Honestly you need people like him to have someone to protect the bambis from. Especially since many of the more creative bandits roll in groups as well. EDIT : Even though I'm assuming this is only aimed at OP I'd like to clarify that I am a bandit and very rarely KOS - I harrass people with the insane ramblings of my character who is deathly afraid of pants and I reward my targets for their tolerance and cooperation. I make the game better and more memorable for those I interact with, yet I get KOSed by heroes all the time. In short - tagging yourself as a hero doesn't make you better than anyone else, don't look down on someone for their playstyle even if you don't agree with it. I don't like your playstyle but I'm not going to go around shitting all over you because of it. RE-EDIT : Corrected some typos

I don't think zombie-less servers exist on SA right now but there are so few of them scattered around and they are so frail they are not even a threat, just a minor nuisance. Most servers you can concentrate fully on PVP, even on those claiming to be PVE only as they can't technically enforce that rule right now. You will probably get kicked for killing someone on PVE only server but you can always report it to the proper channels afterwards. In short - every server is strictly PVP - some people just refuse to accept it.

I haven't had this problem, my .45 flashlight works just fine. Just wish I could turn it on and off without having to go to the inventory screen.

If you make it to 10 I give you my water bottle and some freshly open cans of food - if I happen to have a stick, burlap and rope I may give you a backpack. Don't make it to 10? I break your legs. If you bait them - they will come.

On hardcore a buddy of mine was a fresh spawn and was captured near a factory by a few bandits. They had already captured a few others and they held a fight club in the factory where the winner would receive some food and the loser would receive a bullet to the head. My buddy knocked out four and was the champion. Creativity is what separates the memorable bandits from the typical ones.

They are former military and ceremonial now at most. They definitely fall under civilian at this point.

Rename the M4 to AR15 Swap automatic to semi only OR Keep the M4 Swap automatic for three round burst Satisfy 95% of the people who think military gear is a problem.
