dude if you suspect someone is "hacking" then you should be doing everything in your character's power to collect that evidence like take some screen shots or recordings (try and get the player list in one of your screens as I am sure that will help) and report the bastards to the mods here on the forum, if you are just gonna combat log when this happens you are only passing the problem along to the rest of the community - gee thanks. again with the trolls bizniz, wtf is a troll other than some annoying prick that pisses you off in the game?? combat logging in that situation is still combat logging - kill the bastard if you can and if you can't, die like an adult.

I'm still waiting to find out how you know someone is trolling you in the game. I mean I've been troubled by squeaking bandits before that try to make nice then cuff you when you aren't paying attention (my fault of course) but I certainly would not log off just because some squeaker got the better of me, in fact I consider the asshole squeakers to be a legit part of the game no matter how annoying they are. what exactly constitutes a troll in the game? because if you are logging off just because some asshat insulted your mom then proceeds to take poorly aimed pot shots in your general direction you sir, are a combat logger.

I have 2, one is worn the other is pristine. I keep them in the event I run across the less fortunate. I've passed over so many in my search for a tent that its not even funny. if only I could build a tent out of can openers....

steaks from anything but usually boar steaks as cows seem to be a mostly southern creature. they also have the added benefit of needing a fire to cook so I get nice and warm while cooking them. I haven't bothered to open a can in almost 2 weeks. anybody want a can opener?

if you do nothing your character will die. pretty simple. the objective of the game is to keep your character alive. so if you are bored why are you playing?

its not exactly a "new" concept. I have over 10 years in a sandbox mmorpg called entropia universe (was project entropia back in the day) and of course Eve by CCP has been around at least that long, I have about 6 years there. the sandbox concept is what makes them and this game attractive. if you can't make your own story then perhaps you need to find a different game. maybe if other games would shitcan their idea of a "story" and just go with the sandbox concept from the beginning they could put that other "60-70%" of game development into something that amounts to a better game.

umm so if its a server with persistence you should be able to just log back on to that same server after the restart and then pick it up. provided it wasn't too damaged to remain that is.

gee I think it would be nice to be able to just take a backpack in your hands and carry it somewhere. there are many times when I kill a deer that I will also make the leather sack from the hide and I occasionally have meat left over and other extra things that I don't value that much. I sometimes leave this stuff in the sack and the sack just sits there in the wild decaying with the hope that someone can find it and use it and the items inside. if I could carry it in my hands to a better location I would certainly do so and hopefully make someone's day. I've left dozens of child's briefcases, improvised backpacks, and taloons in the field once I craft the improvised leather backpack as well.

The closest approximation I could find for these is from the Kazan Optical-Mechanical Factory (KOMZ). not sure about the police cars but with the chopper crashes, from what I can tell, yes. a couple more spawns wouldn't hurt in my opinion.

you should be able to attach that log to the fireplace kit while its in your inventory. that's what I do anyway.

so I have stopped chopping down trees for firewood. I use the same fireplace kit and logs that I chopped a few days ago. Bite the bullet on the four slots and place your fireplace kit in those slots then drag your firewood to the fireplace kit and "attach" the firewood. You can also store some single slot items there, I am quite sure this will be fixed at some point in the future but until the "I'm freezing" stuff gets settled its a reasonable fix. I missed those four slots for a while but I can now toss my splitting axe and gain them back.

I have been considering how to deal with finding a tent in the apartments and so far I've decided once I finally find one I am gonna just throw it off the roof or out a window and (hopefully) pick it up when I get back down. I had to stop looking today though its just a pain in the ass making my way through all those apartments.

umm its likely the reason you died and not the hunger. why do you people spend so much time in spawnville anyway? get off the coast and find a coat (barns are a great place to look for clothes) pick some apples or berries and drink some water from anywhere, get your hydration and energy to light green then go back to play in spawnville. you will have a much better experience.

ever since I made my first fire and cooked my first steaks I have dreamed of leaving the fire to burn down the forest. I imagine myself sitting atop the ruins at black mountain and watching the show till its over. I'd settle for torching a few houses though.
