I find a lot of em in the storage units, I even found a fire axe in one this morning, right after a server reset too... weird. edit: oh and the silver metal buildings with the blue doors on each end - I find a lot there too.

How are people currently getting around this strange design flaw?

pretty sure rain doesn't do anything but get you and your clothes wet at the moment - in the future it will cause you to get sick and contribute to the damage of your gear. you can also get wet by wading through a stream, pond or the surf. -
something about a global ban after buying SA and not being able to connect to servers...

why yes that would be the one, its all a part of the creation process - this is an alpha test after all, and we the "players" have agreed to assist in this testing process, or did you skip that part of the huge warning when you were busy giving your money to steam, patience please as these things take time. all the bitchin about the "problems" in the "game" are just really getting old and annoying.

yeah that tactical bacon gave me a good chuckle - of course I died due to starvation and blood loss 2 mins after finding a can opener so I still don't know what it looks like inside the can. -
funny things to say about a project that isn't quite a game yet... oh and everything you mentioned is being resolved in the current experimental build. was there anything else? edit for realistic expectations: we hope its all being resolved in the current exp build - most of it was in the last exp build.

I went to suicide off the hospital in berezino once and walked away from it with no damage... I had climb the ladder and jump again. of course the first time I landed on a fence, I was quite successful the second time.

as I was just about to offer services... never done a rescue mission. hope the zeds do the trick, just remember you can respawn once you are unconscious - you don't have to actually be dead.

seems like it was Friday evening (I'm GMT -6) and I was sittin pretty too just scrounging for the ever elusive LRS and I was set - oh well. pretty sure it was not planned either, it just sortta happened.

oh right, also expect to have a char wipe on exp - I've not seen anyone mention that its not happened to them but plenty to whom it has happened myself included.

oh theres this http://dayzdev.tumblr.com/post/79960438354/weekly-report-a-step-into-survival its official if a little late. edit: hicks (I think) mentioned the exp servers being down but will be back up "soon" that was several hours ago however - that's all buried in the devtracker somewhere.

respect is something that is earned not just given, having said that - you earn my respect and you are safe from me no matter where you are (at least until you start shooting my way at which point I loose all respect and we are at square one). for some perspective... daddy was a preacher and he taught us that the church building is just a building the real church is the people.

oh someone just posted a nice article about whats going on over on the changelog http://www.gamerheadlines.com/2014/03/major-dayz-update-landing-tomorrow/ has some good info in it. but do check the changelog - there is more info there.
