so this is apparently some kinda bug as I have read a ton of posts that say "I spawned naked, hydrated, healthy and energized in vybor" since .46 rolled to stable.

man I hate that. sometimes I even loose a mag as a result. lost a 75rd drum that way once then tossed the AK a few mins later (I'm a mosin girl all the way). so yeah I am all for removing reload from the F key. and Ninja, don't they need to add latex for that?

the batteries in cheap disposable watches last for years. my favorite watch didn't use batteries and wound itself. my timex camper watch was a manual wind. and oddly enough all of these were also water resistant or water proof. watch tech is amazing.

your friend is correct and apparently the crash sites are bugged on stable (someone else will need to verify that) so your best bet to get an M4 is to take it from someone that already has one. there are several maps that show where the crash sites spawn, a quick google search will turn up quite a few, I recommend the dayztv.com map for this. good luck.

this is your answer.... I have gone from fresh spawn to dark green energized and hydrated on just berries in under 20 mins. of course I still only had a flashlight for inventory but at least I wasn't starving. oh and the non-poisonous berries seem to grow all over almost every town I have been in.

permanent notes would be nice - you can already add notes to the map but they only last for the session - relog kills the notes. to the OP, I use the ingame map all the time and I have no problems with it other than the fact I have to put it together but lately maps are everywhere so that's not really a problem either. I am sorry you can't seem to find your way around in such a small area but give it time and eventually you will know all of chernarus like the back of your hand. adding more to the ingame map other than something like permanent notes will just greatly oversimplify something that is already easy. did you want someone to come hold you hand while exploring too?

I'm sorry that you purchased FRAPS as Shadowplay with the NVidia card records with little to no loss of frames and comes with the GeForce Experience (it captures video directly from the GPU). the game overall is very CPU heavy and something that I have discovered in my own search for better frames is a new phenomenon with multi-core processors - CPU Parking - research this and choose a solution that bests fits your situation. umm if you don't like how the shotgun works then don't use it. in the mean time there are plenty of peeps that just like the way it looks and had you been following the threads on current builds you might be aware of the fact that the shotgun issues are known and are being investigated - why all of the massive over-reach on your part?? remove it from the game.... just silly.

the new NEAF is a work in progress so it may be a little early to tell if we like it or not. for me its just different - I don't see it as better or worse but my game never depended on anything from NEAF.

so it doesn't bother me that people jump for a better spawn, I've been known to do it myself and sometimes I just want to start over after 3 days of running, it does bother me that the accumulated player bodies drag down the server (this will hopefully change in future builds). having said that, I am all for needing a higher place to jump from, that way you have to at least spend some time looking for a place high enough and just maybe you will reconsider your decision to jump. so are there still plans for a suicide animation with a handgun?

investigate "CPU parking" its possible that you are not fully utilizing your CPU cores.

today on experimental I saw smoke behind some trees about 300 meters away which of course led to the helicopter and an M4 some ammo, butt stock, suppressor and some optics that I declined.... I left deer steaks in place of a lot of that. even trade I say. oh yeah smoke... on another thread someone mentioned smoke at 800 meters

oh don't be like that.... just running around not really looking I have run across 5 or 6 crash sites now. just keep yer eyes open and you'll trip over em too... eventually.

pretty sure that all of those smoke stacks have a nasty santa in em.
