My bro had same thing in last sunday. Server got crash/reset, my team got kicked out, when we back my bro got info thats he is dead and only him. Its rare but its normal alpha bug.

If you wanna play on lame way then no one will stop you from server hopping. I don't know where you was looking but i gearing up without server hopping. I play on experimental, its little easier cuz there is police stations (more military points). Coast most times is checked and looted. Like Geckofrog suggested, try looking for farer in land.

Get dayz commander from http://www.dayzcommander.com Enter to Update/Install tab, update arma via dayzcommander, update dayz mod (least version) and done. Look for server in dayz commander.

All towns near coast most time are looted, go farer to land.

I am not sure but try 1. run game Arma 2 first, Arma 2 AO 2. after close game try install update in update/install department (dayz commander) 3. at end try download mod in mod department.(dayz commander) If not work, tell us more info. What happens when you trying download dayz mod via dayz commander? File not exist ? Transfer is 0 kb ?

So... players yellied around about game is not surival... and now you yelling it too hard cuz amount of badages was reduced. I know bleeding is hard one and zombie have around 50% (i think) to make bleeding but try avoid such situations. Game will going to surival more and more, don't expect only pvp forever, your decisions will be more value. Before you start shooting (whatever is your reason) think its worth make dinner bell for zombies (if they are near).

I have same on stable branch, less often times got it at exp branch (just few times, not sure its due same reason). Its high sync due too many pacs coming to you and your side treat it as hacker attack and block it for some time. Last time i waited 20 min till all back to normal.

Today on purpose i was keep running in Elektro, i was alone and poor equiped. I met around 15 players, once got robbed by unconcous, once i die due KOS, rest players was friendly. Before that i didn't got very often KOS.

Mate, its not your PC foult. Dean metion about fixed that issue in last experimental update. To many packs are sent to you and your router,ISP or whatever see it as hacker attacks (DDoS) and block it. That why whatever you do in game will be done but you not recivie packs. You opened door but you not see it. IF i good remeber its cuzed some items. Most of crying ppl about its so incomplite game and no useful updates don't understand thats this game is IMCOMPLITE and like warning saying, DON'T BUY IT if you want have really fun and enjoy that game. Game progress going forward and will released. Main problem is what shape will have game at final released version. EDIT: If i rethink that, i don't understand why are you blame bohemia. Opposite, before you buy game there was clearly warning thats game will be bugged, etc, etc and if you want enjoy game then wait for full released. Really Bohemia made mistake give early access for everyone without addition condition. There should be some test/quiz to get that game. Test should be from "Do you understand what warning about early access saying and do you understand that". Test should contain questions like: "Do you understand thats is not finished and its not surival like should be yet ?" 1) Yes 2) No 3) No and i like cheese "Do you understand thats due its still alpha and players will be use any bugs for their benefit?" 1) No 2) What is bug? 3) Yes Etc etc. Seriously, i know that game keep for long status Alpha, but ffor me they can call it beta or even omega, main point here game is incomplite, there will be bugs and players will use it, its normal. You bought access to imcoplite game which is not survial yet. Its like LEGO blocks, you got 2 blocks and you asking why you can't build castle. I am not talking about updates, if i keep changing branch then every time i do it i have to download something. Can't believe there are updates every 30 min. I want to download update if there was changes, if not, then i dont see reason why i need to download every change branch.

Looks like lag or desync. I have offten lag/desync in first min or two after enter on server. Best thing to check it is just click RMB on your item, if there is "reciving" then you have lag/desync.

There is way to not download exp/stable branch every change ?
