If I'm not mistaken though...didn't they say the update was to be delivered this month?

This gun is lame and ugly.

This has happened to me twice and I can't figure out how. Sometimes when I am in a jail at an airfield, I'll hear guys talking on their hot mic or shooting or whatever. I will then proceed to lay down and watch the front door, knowing that they will eventually come in and that there are no open points where I could be shot from. Out of no where, 1 shot, dead. I looked at the jail building at the airfields and have found no spots from where you could kill someone that is laying in front of the front door with the back wall at their feet. Is there something I'm missing?

I prefer the... "DAHH!!!" What about you?

I've ran into countless people who were in the log out animation and just shot them in the head. It is not as uncommon as some may think.

Hey guys, Dean posted on twitter that the update will NOT be out for your Friday game session. They will be "trying" to get it out Saturday now, these guys are so good at what they do! Does anyone else have this feeling of deja vu? Always remember my friends, they told you NOT to buy this.

It's awesome, you get to wait 2 weeks for an over due patch then you get to look at "wait for host". It's some of the most intense and life changing game play I have ever experienced.

These forums in particular and some of the members on it are by far the most annoying I've ever come across, solely for this reason. It's really hard to discuss anything without the A word being thrown around a few times. My favorite is when someone goes "They even told you NOT to buy it"!

Doesn't everyone realize you cannot win an argument about how terrible things are becoming? You want to know why?! They told you NOT to buy the game! So guess what, they can do whatever they want and when they want to do it. You pissed off that these guys can't simply release a quick fix to prevent people from camping inside walls? Doesn't matter. You mad about people duping weapons with their friends? Tough shit, they told you NOT to buy this game. You can complain about anything and everything that is completely broken with this game and no matter how you word it, they will always be able to say "well...well.....uh...WE TOLD YOU NOT TO BUY IT SO...HA!" It's like dealing with a bunch of fucking children. There is almost no point to these forums. They told you not to buy it, you bought it. They can do whatever they want, period.

None of you guys that are upset have managed a high scale project like your fellow forum members!

An update.

Yes, yes I am.

I'm assuming that a lot of you had to get up for work this morning like myself. You weren't quite as miserable when you opened your eyes and then you finally realized why...Day Z update today! You get your coffee, drive to work and have a little extra pep in your step. Then you come to these forums and see that there in fact will be no update to stable today or tomorrow for that matter. You start thinking to yourself, "the developers get to slack off at their job, why can't I"? "No update for 3 weeks and now it gets delayed"? You have to get back to work, you can't afford to slack off. Unfortunately people haven't already invested millions of dollars in the work that you might be doing when you get around to it. I bet you'll still be able to glitch in the walls at the airfields after the update as well.

As many of my fellow prior and current military personnel know, sapi plates and the heavy square objects that are inserted in your flak jacket that actually stop a projectile from penetrating your torso. When they are hit with a round, they actually break. So I guess you could say they become "ruined". Wouldn't this be a great little military loot item to be able to place in your assault vest slots for added protection?

I feel terrible about the crime I committed tonight. I met a very nice and cheerful guy at the Rify boat who was fairly well armed and asked my bambi self if I needed anything. I desperately needed food so he opened up a few cans for me and I ate until content. He told me he would escort me and help me find some equipment in Berezino so I gratefully accepted. While we were on our jog to the city, we exchanged a few words and got to know each other a little bit. He found me a back pack and a fire axe along with a water bottle and some canned tuna. He killed a few zombies that snuck up on me and asked me if I was okay. He decided I should find a well to fill up my water bottle and said we needed to get somewhere safe so he could look at his map. As I sat there watching his still body, something came over me. I took my fire axe out and hacked him down. After I took his weapons and gear, I felt absolutely terrible. I had to log off and collect my bearings. How could a game emotionally drain someone like this? Whoever you were, I am sorry.

This may be a little off topic but I feel that you should be able to sprint at the full speed when you have a pistol out equipped, just sayin'.

Would you guys consider this worse than server hopping? Considering I stayed within the formula of the game to gear up rather than exploit it?

Hello everyone! So I've been playing this game for a few days now and have been having a blast. There is one thing that I am a little confused and concerned about though... I have very seldom been in a gun fight so I haven't been able to actually test this out for myself. When I fire my gun at someone (or a zombie) point blank, is there delay from when I fire and my shot hits the target or does the target just take a little longer to register that it's been hit?

So just to clarify, If I saw someone running sideways, aimed directly at them and fired...they would still move for a second or so and then die?
