I'm sorry for not specifying in my original post. I have these bandages on my HARDCORE character, I haven't played easy mode in a long long time.

The first thing I do when I see a bambi is talk to him, examine his tone of voice and determine if he is literate. Then I will hand him a loaded pistol. 99% of the time they will follow me on my journey and in some instances save my life. I don't exchange steam ID's to stay in contact because I want the most realistic experience as possible. Not once has someone turned on me when I've done this. -
Hello everyone! I just recently purchased Fraps to do some in game recording and was wondering if anyone had any tips for me regarding this program and DayZ. Every time I begin to record my frame rate will drop around 10-15 frames, which isn't a huge deal until I am in an area where I usually get 30 FPS. Is there anything I can tweak to avoid the frame drop? I'm very new to using video capturing software and any advice would be appreciated. I heard that if you were to have your videos recorded to a hard drive other than the one that the game is saved on, it will eliminate the frame drop. Can anyone confirm this?

ZaP has been up to some shady shit lately. The server has been resetting out of the blue almost every single night when they're supposed to follow their 2 hour restart timer.

Wow man, thank you so much for this information. I had no idea about this feature that I had with my GTX 760, totally just wasted 39 bucks on fraps! Just tried it out and the video looks awesome and there is ZERO FPS drop, amazing!!

I am not talking about the actually recordings frame rate. I'm talking about my actual frame rate in game once I start filming. I do run the game with everything on very high etc. I'll try and lower the settings as much as I can without my eyes bleeding and see if this helps at all.

So my Day Z crashed today after the server reset, and it seems like something has happened to my video quality. I swear that I set everything back to what it used to be as far as resolution and everything else but the quality still seems stretched and the colors washed out... This is driving me insane, is this some sort of glitch or something? Has anyone else had this happen?

I had my resolution at 1680 X 1050, always. Now my resolution is set to that and it looks AWFUL

This is unbelievably frustrating. I've tried everything and cannot get my game back to the way it used to look. Game crashed and now everything is fucked.

You have a point. But if you think about it...40 players on a map of that size? We all have instances where we have traveled the land for hours and have not seen a single person. This shouldn't be the case. I am not saying that we should be bumping into people every single place we go...but 40 players isn't cutting it anymore. BTW, we're friendly! -
I got a 15 round mag off of someone who decided to shoot at me. I'm assuming the gun only spawns in police buildings?

I think it is time we get AT LEAST 60 man servers. My friends and I traveled from the NWAF all the way to Berenzino, going through all hot spots and saw absolutely nothing on a full pop server. It was so disappointing that I had to put the game down for a week. It is seriously time that the player count gets upped.
