I've been playing religiously every day since I finished work two weeks ago (I go back in two more weeks for a month straight, boo!) and I've never bothered to ask around to figure out how to duplicate stuff. I've heard about it, yeah, but who in the fuck actually bothers with that stuff?

Uh, how did you survive the wipes? It doesn't sound like you have much fun when you play. Creeping around out of sight and avoiding interactions (whether they're friendly or not) with other players isn't hard. If you're not on a full server, you're robbing yourself of a lot of fun. My current Regular character hasn't died since the last patch, but I've probably lost ten Hardcore characters running around partaking in general mischief and mayhem with DeatHTaX. Until they add more content, there isn't a whole lot else to do. I've 200+ hours logged on DayZ:SA, and I couldn't imagine playing like that. Ah well, different strokes for different folks. Also,

After quickly analyzing the sentence structure, grammatical flaws, blatant misuse of punctuation, and unoriginal content coupled with the fact that it's the thousandth "heroic" novel posted here in a vain attempt to accrue some sort of "internet cred", I've decided I will not be reading the original post in its entirety. π/10 For those of you who feel the same, I give you this:

I'm running an i7-2600K @ 5.2GHz, 8GB PC2133, Vertex 3, and a GTX 580 (I have two but SLI isn't optimized for DayZ:SA yet). I'm getting 40-60 frames per second with maximum settings @ 1920x1080. When I set the processor to its factory stock of 3.4GHz, I get between 25-40 frames per second. This game is all about your processor.

True, to a degree. The more attention an issue garners, the faster it's fixed. This is a game-breaking issue; the glitch needs to be addressed. Slightly off-topic, but I've found a lovely spot to nestle myself in on a hill adjacent to the hangar where I can face-plant kids who hang out under there with my mosin. It's so satisfying.

It'll take longer to gear up after the patch. Solution: Kill other people on sight and take their stuff. I don't advocate server-hopping or kill-on-sight behaviour, but if I had to choose, I'd take a server-hopper any day.
