I think he means infected wounds, which I can attest to being accurate.

What do you do when waiting time spawn?

1) You're so cool for never having to quickly switch servers for any reason. 2) Flappy Bird is a very entertaining game, regardless of what you hear. It deserves the hype it receives. -
It'll reduce (improve) your load times, but that's it.

Hahaha, don't get my hill nerfed! But seriously, it's like they made the hill like a set of stairs, even though it renders as a smooth incline. Bullets just kind of bounce off of the air in front of me when I'm sniping there; it's as if they're hitting invisible dirt right in front of my face, but I can shoot through said dirt from my end. It's very useful to sit there and take out any potential roof campers before you move into Elektro. One could argue that Elektro should just be avoided if there are a lot of people online, but where's the fun in that? :3

Why can't I find more people like you? I always have to work so hard for my kills, what with other people generally toting guns and everything.
-
I've played thirty hours the last three days alone, and I've not found one yet. Not implemented yet, in my opinion.

Don't let these kids get you down. The only mistake you made? You missed the first shot. KOS 4 LYFE

Okay, have fun getting sniped in the pitch black, sir. Also, when you shoot a guy in the chest only to have him spin around and blow your face off with no penalty to initially being shot, I hope you feel better about your high video game morals. I'll play the game the way you guys want everyone else to play the game when it's properly implemented. If it is ever even implemented, as the DayZ MOD still allows players to change their gamma. -

Just wondering. Both of my characters just apparently got reset.

Okay, just checking. I thought maybe someone was messing with me as I just dropped two guys in Berezino who shot my son, haha. One of them was glitching all over the place, but I managed to down him with a few SKS rounds to the chest.

Can you not read? I refuse to believe that so many people on these forums are so ignorant. Read my post again. Why in the actual fuck would I play at a disadvantage to so many other players when I have a legal means to defend myself by using the same tactics myself? Like really, read what I am saying. I am not defending exploiting; it's not an exploit. It's a video option in a game that can be enabled or disabled. Gamma can be raised or lowered. Don't blame me or anyone else who brings this issue up for the current state of the game. I am merely shining a little light on the subject that a lot of you people are deeming such a horrid chain of events. You'd have to be a complete moron to continue playing "legitimately" (a very subjective term, mind you) when nine out of ten players aren't. You play your way, I'll play mine, but don't tell me I'm a fucking cheater/exploiter. If you want to blame someone, petition the developers to fix it. EDIT: I've seen no information posted where a developer has claimed this to be an exploit. If that is the case, and they really feel that way, then they should implement it in such a way that it can't be modified with an in-game slider or option menu. Period. -

Since you brought up an old argument, let me bring up an old rebuttal. (; My wife that plays DayZ sits at her computer right beside mine during our gaming sessions. We don't use Steam Chat when we're playing with just the two of us, as we are... right beside each other. Is that considered cheating, too? The next time she screams at me to give her some food, should I just ignore her? Or perhaps I should look lovingly into her eyes and remind her that we're in a very serious game with such strict rules and parameters that talking to her while connected to this Matrix-like product would result in a wall of flame from many butt-hurt forum sheriffs? Yeah, I'm sure the latter would go over really fucking well. -
I log out with my SKS and Mosin regularly. I've done it twice or thrice today alone.

This. I'm not blindly running around like a moving target because of my "morals". It's a fucking video game. If someone is going to use an implemented in-game option to give them an edge, you can be fucking sure I will too. I don't cheat. I don't use scripts. I play the game legitimately as many people on these forums I've played with will tell you. What's this? They also implemented a way to disable post-processing effects in the video options menu, too? Sweet, off that goes too. No point in gimping yourself from the start. If they weren't intended to be changed, they wouldn't be in the video options menu. Anyone arguing this is dumb. -
You just proved yourself wrong. It's in the in-game options menu. It's there for you to change. It's not an exploit. It would be exploitive if you found, in your words, an unintended way to disable it. The options menu gives you the means to disable post-processing. No script or glitch required!
-
Sweet, where would be the ideal place for me to camp the railway tracks?
-
TL;DR: Good for someone just starting the game. Seasoned players/testers will have already done everything he suggests.
-
You just won the entire DayZ forum. If you're anti-anything that is being done in this game, you're either a moron or a whiny child, followed swiftly by a cookie-cutter "IT'S AN ALPHA LOLOL" response. I love the game, I respect the developers, but not everything they do can be attributed to it being an Alpha.
-
I still play night servers legitimately when I'm alone early in the mornings before the masses log on. I really do enjoy the immersion. As soon as someone connects to my server, up goes the gamma. I died way too many times to an unknown assailant running around at night to not crank my gamma. As far as post-processing goes, it's not bad, but it makes things hard to see in the distance even when you're healthy. I like it and agree that it should be properly implemented so that everyone is forced to use it. Until then, off it stays.
-
I'm fine with whatever. I like PP, but I'm not going to use something that puts me at a disadvantage to other players. Same with gamma. If they were implemented properly so that everyone was affected by them, that's fine.
