How is this discussion still going? If people want to shoot you because you're a chick, who cares? People have blatantly stated on these very forums that they shoot others upon hearing their accent, so how is this any different? If you don't like chicks, blast 'em. If you don't like Canadians like me, blast us. The OP claims this discussion wasn't an attempt to garner attention, but that's literally all it was. My wife has logged over 300 hours on DayZ (she plays much more infrequently these days, mind) and we've never run into anyone who shot her solely for being female. Being an annoying bitch, maybe, but not just because she's a woman. However, even if she had been shot because of her gender, it wouldn't matter. It's a game. Everyone has a reason for mowing down others on the interwebz. I personally can't stand children that try to communicate using words like, "bro", "cuz", "swag", "yolo", etc. When I run into the aforementioned prepubescent pukes, I lay waste to them as well as the very bandwidth upon which they send these aggravating clichés.

They spawn all throughout the military bases and airfields. I've found them in the same places I've found M4A1s multiple times.

I have three ammunition boxes full of 7.62x39mm rounds thanks to the new city and Chernaya Polana. I have to keep my AKM happy by regularly feeding it blood and bullets. Poor north-east airfield. =(

I understand fully. My point is that if you have to restart the game after the first server you join, that's not much better than just crashing in the first place.

Don't feel bad OP, my love for the DayZ legacy died a brutal death after playing through The Last of Us a few times. Now that is a zombie game.

The aforementioned "unoptimized pieces of shit" play buttery-smooth on just one GTX 780 Ti on Ultra settings at 1080p for me with the exception of Skyrim which requires me to activate SLI to maintain 60 frames per second with RealVision ENB installed. As I've stated already, his system will be fine for gaming at Low/Medium settings in the future; I never claimed he wouldn't be able to play games.

Because a 2GB GTX 760 is barely holding its own with many current titles on Ultra. Watch_Dogs, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Skyrim (with mods), Battlefield 4, Tomb Raider and even Assassin's Creed IV have a hard time with that card at 1080p on Ultra. If "many years to come" suggests more than next year, then my initial assessment was accurate. (; I'm glad you're happy with your build; I was never bashing it. It'll play most current titles on Ultra settings, but there are already many games it won't run on Ultra at a reasonable frame rate. I was just stating fact, ol' bean!Croissant?

Maybe if you enjoy playing games on Low to Medium settings. Not trying to be an ass, but let's be realistic.

I'm legitimately curious. I'd give an honest estimate that 80% of my kills in DayZ have been due to people overextending themselves. If I'm defending a position, what makes you think you can rush me? Is it pride? Ego? Too much Counter-Strike and not enough ARMA? I realize that it doesn't take much effort to gear up at the moment so we might as well take calculated risks, but doesn't the half hour process of finding another gun and attaining healthy status sway your decision making process even in the slightest? Wouldn't you rather wait for an opportune chance to strike strategically than to rush me like a moron hoping to pop off some random miracle from the barrel of your gun? TELL ME!

It represents weapon dexterity; the bigger your gun, the more you'll have to compensate for it. Pistols suffer less from quick movements than rifles. I feel that it's a good trade-off for the removal of the negative mouse acceleration.
