People still use Windows XP? What the fuck?!

Yeah, been shot through random walls with Mosins a few times in the last few days. Completely impossible shots unless you were wall hacking. However, this thread ain't gonna last. inb4 graveyard

So Death and I met a few unfriendly characters in Veresnik and decided to return fire... and bumpers. 'Twas the most fun I've had playing DayZ in months. ♥

They might've changed how full you are when you start a new character, then. They've done that before. If your stomach is, say, 2/3 full when you start a new character and are thirsty/hungry, you're going to notice a difference. It could be that your established 1PP character isn't suffering what your fresh 3PP character is for this reason. Personally, I haven't had an issue with either, even with the gripes about the new "changes". I guess after almost 1,600 hours these issues aren't such a big deal.

No memory leak here. Also, your inventory is automatically pushed to the top of each container upon logging in, so, as a general rule, it's best to organize it from top to bottom and not vice versa. Could that be your issue?

Every now and then when I'm first logging onto a server after launching DayZ, I experience a few seconds of polygonal chaos. Not very often, though.

The fountains are definitely janky, but I just jumped onto a random private hive and attained healthy status within ten minutes. It had persistence on, to boot. On a side note, you can make yourself vomit again seemingly without any negative side effects. I took one too many drinks from the fountain and puked, then took two more and was bright hydrated. A minute or so later, healthy.

OP, you're bad. I'm energized/hydrated/healthy within minutes of spawning. Peaches/rice/sardines/powdered milk and fountains are your friend. L2P.

In my experience, sometimes items improperly display their actual condition. For example, I've picked up Small Protector Cases before that displayed "Pristine" upon first inspection, however, if I were to move the case to another article of clothing from where it was originally picked up, it will sometimes changed to "Damaged" or "Badly Damaged". It is my opinion that it has something to do with double-clicking items to pick them up (which is essentially the only way I pick things up these days); maybe the server doesn't properly sync when we pick things up in this manner from time to time.

You're looking for a program to edit them with, or a way to get them onto a website for others to see? EDIT: I use PowerDirector 13 for editing. I liked it so much, I even bought a copy. You can do pretty much anything with your videos when it comes to editing time.

What the fuck did you actually expect? How many games have you played with decent communities? I literally can't think of one game in which people are nice. Not one. In any game, you'll meet the odd nice person, but in case you haven't noticed, the internet is made up of a slew of dipshits, douchebags, and dumbfucks. Read the comments on any YouTube video for proof of that. If I made a post every time something stupid happened in DayZ, I'd never stop typing. You're just wasting your time, even if you are only trying to communicate how jaded you felt over an encounter. I've been slightly agitated over how an encounter has gone in the past, but these days I just silently /facepalm and move on.

I find it funny that someone with such a post found his niche playing video games and posting on forums. Well played.

It did for me on my old i7-2600K. It mostly seemed to help in cities. I was running it at 5.2GHz too, for what it's worth. I've yet to try DayZ on the new system in my signature; I built it right before I left home to go to work for three weeks. Home tonight! I'll try it and let you know.

I'd just tie up my wife and kids, throw them, our two dogs, two cats, bearded dragon and gecko into the car that's parked in the garage, run some hose from the exhaust inside the back window, turn the car on, and wait. Who the fuck wants to live through that shit? Your kids are going to be permanently mind-fucked, you're never going to have sex with your wife again, and you can't possibly keep an eye on everything at all times. You're all eventually going to die. I'd rather give my family a gentle release than have some horrible nightmare come to fruition before they're ripped apart and eaten alive. You guys have fun eating dog food and bathing in dirty ponds for the rest of your life, though. =)
