*giggles* @Topic So they duped their gear... make a bug report over at http://feedback.dayzgame.com if what you witnessed had not already been posted there. That is the only way things can get fixed and up until then - yes maybe it is not fair per se. But on the other hand that exploit has been witnessed and can now be fixed and that is what early access is for.

There is no need for a fix since you can simply play hardcore if you don't want someone stalking you with 3pp. You just want your >>exploit<< third person view tailored to your personal needs Seeing your char from above is exploiting FIX IT!!!!!111oneoneoneelevenone

If I'm in a stalk/fight with other players and someone is getting caught in the middle they get "removed". If I am in Elektro I do not need the loot from other players since I already have everything I need - that is why you go Elektro in the first place to lay your char to rest (hopefully after laying some waste unto others). inB4 "That is not how it is supposed to be" It is the way it is - and you won't change it so stay clear of Elektro if you don't want to be killed just because you are in the way

@OP The game has other issues that need adressing. You should have just shot him. You exploit if you you use a game mechanic in a way it is not intended... So being able to check a corner in 3pp is just the way it is and has always been that way in almost all 3pp games ever. So please quit your whining and play hardcore.

It is so f'ing stupid to complain about third person view when there is a game mode with plenty of servers without it... It just boggles my mind.

Never remove the jumpers! They are best for a scare and they are best for a laugh. Just go to a castele ruin attract some of the zeds and then flee down a steep slope ^^ The zed will jump you and since they do not alter trajectory to compensate for the slope you will have flying zeds :D it is hilarious

I LOVE THE NEW ZOMBIES! I LOVE THE RESPAWN! I LOVE THAT THEY SPAWN IN STRUCTURES! Such joy when you open a door and a zed is jumping you and tries to claw of your face. Shock moment - frantic melee (and if you complain that you cannot melee with your axe because you hit the walls...boo f'in hoo maybe get better at it instead of whining) The game is so much more fun now - I never had so much fun looting.

Just image you would strike at someone without consious/unconsious thought about injuring/hurting yourself.

Please google your problem and add reddit as search term. A friend had the same problem and we stumbled over the solution in a reddit thread - he joined a IP from the thread then disconnected and then could respawn. Sorry I cannot be more specific but mybe that will help you.

Well just kill it all. Without nametags you cannot be sure if that "Bambi" is a just a innocent bystander or some one that just wants his gear back / is spying for his squad. More often then not when we had a firefight and had a group pinned down in a building of sorts they send some one out with just a pistol to charge madly at us so the could take potshots said person would then (after respawn) just run up to his friends again to get his gear or to repeat the process. So in a town I kill everyone that enters/stays in my sphere of action

2D all the way! Performance, unrealistic glare, FOV exploit all show that 3D scopes (at least in Dayz) are not the way to go

Cheating is actually one of the greatest threats this game has. To many cheaters and people will stop playing - will not recommend it to others plus steam ratings and reviews will go down. If that happens the developers could well decide not to put all that much effort in there anymore

Maybe there are 2 guys but just counting the sks shots when he starts firing in the leftmost widow and then transitions over to the right window... Sound is bugged to hell in the game but I count more then 10 shots with the sks and there isn't enough time for reload

Ya maybe you should check the video more careful - that is definately a sks he uses while shooting in through the windows, you can see the sks bayonet quite good if you pause the right moment

Ya sure it is desync! it must be desync since you will always hit other players spot on if you are desynced.
