Hello guys. I have a friend that bought DayZ SA and after he downloaded it, he launched the game and after loading and going to the menu, it's just a black screen. He told me that he can hear the sound like the nature sound and he can see his cursor, but he does not see the menu options. The screen is just black. He has tried to wait it out for 10 hours, he verified his cache, updated his drivers and video card, tried to start the game from the folder instead of Steam, and even re-downloaded the game, but sadly, still no luck. Can anyone share some experience or knowledge of fixing this bug? He really wants to play, but I can only help so much. If anyone can help him fix the bug, that will be highly appreciated. Thanks! This is, indeed, a GREAT game. I loved it so much before this patch. This patched really ruined it for me. I'm so upset that I can't even play. It seems everything is fucked up and made harder than it already is.

Fix the roll-back and bring us back our saved gameplay. Then, raise body cleaning to an hour. That is all for now.

I actually love the way you state it and in every way, you're correct. I can't bitch and complain enough how disappointed I am in this recent patch. I'm not going to even bother getting on. It's really "fucked up" that you guys decided to lower body cleaning to 10 minutes, making it sooooo much harder for the players. I've said it couple times, and I'll say it again. This game has tons of bugs that will cause you to die and lose all your shit. It ain't fun being pushed off or falling off a ladder while climbing it. There are, of course, many of these bugs going on than just a simple ladder climbing. You know what? I was upset about the roll-back, but it's not like I've never died and have to loot again and take up like 3 - 6 hours just to loot back up. Honestly, the game was very fun. Has potential in evolving, but seriously, today is not the day for me. Everything seems almost twice as hard. Don't get me wrong, I love to loot, but when I loot, I like to keep it till I die fair and square, which means not from bugs, but from actual gameplay. Change before everyone starts calling this a lame game. It has happened and it will happen. Infestation is an example. Don't walk on the same road. Please don't make me regret purchasing this game.

I wouldn't have traded my items for a fail update. Nothing good. Saline bags no longer heal fully, but I guess if that was the only one negative, that would be fine. I'm not going to go through the whole list, but the negatives like having our bodies wiped in 10 minutes of time after we die? Bull. fucking. shit. They need to realize that we're dying, 80% of the time, by bugs. They haven't fixed that yet. Why are they already hasting into lowering body wipes time? I mean, fine. Lets say I'm going to even deal with the whole patch update and play the game as it goes, then now, we get rolled back?!? What the fuck, bro? I'm trading my entire pristine character for this god damn patch of... what? Couple new paint sprays, a shotgun, and yo little new island you put up the coast? Hell naw, dog. Personally, I enjoy looting, but what the fuck is the fun of looting when you're going to lose it all? Sorry, but I'm truly upset with this patch. Don't spit out your "Guys, it's in Alpha stage" shit to me. I ain't taking that lame excuse.

The name change was converted to your REAL name, but all you got to do is click on it and you're able to edit it. It's simple. But the roll back isn't simple. Was it intended, or a mistake?

I got rolled back to a wayyyyyyyyy earlier date, yo. Don't talk about your pristine scope or vest. I had an M4 with all attachments and they are ALL pristine. Bring us back to EXACTLY where we were. You guys need to fix this... I'm starting to think the patch isn't worth it at all.

I like this patch, but there is really that one thing in this patch that bugs me. It's the part where your bodies are wiped in 10 minutes. Like seriously? You guys have bugs that kill our characters more than we actually die by getting killed or by actual gameplay. Do you guys actually realize we're still in Alpha mode yourself? I understand that the goal is for us to try to loot again and that it definitely is a survival game and you guys probably don't want us being able to go back and just grab our bodies every time we die, but you guys also got to understand that majority of our deaths is by climbing up tall ladders and high buildings and getting pushed off or you're just falling off ladders itself OR you somehow just run through ramps that are meant to keep you within the boundaries. Please... don't make this so much tougher for us as it already is.
