I have 90 hours and 8 kills, here's a few examples Myself (armed with M4) and my friend unarmed came across a guy in the middle of no where, running down the road. He was armed, he ignored comms and getting slightly excited at the thought of my very first ever Dayz kill, opened up on him, down he went. now my mates armed Found a mosin, and came across a newly spawned player in MSTA, seemed harmless, except for his axe. as he ran away, i shot him straight in the back (lame and a cowards kill) but i had to shoot my mosin and he was a moving target, good testing. Was in Magelivka and again, shot a player. he was armed with a fireaxe and deemed him a threat to myself and my friend. This is the worst kill, just got my first scope for a mosin, we were raiding the hospital in bolata and from the roof my friend spotted a player, i tracked him, estimated the range at 200 meters and took a shot when he stopped to check something. Killed with the first shot. i was covering my friends in a supermarket in Bolata, when a survivor burst through the back door and started swinging his fireaxe at me, making contact my too fully loaded m4 friends, opened up on him. he went down, then in direct chat said he thought i was a zombie...... and his character was unconscious and please don't kill him. Once i had bandaged my wounds, i took out my magnum and put 6 rounds into his stupid head, how many Zombies have you seen carrying and aiming rifles????Then theres a few more kills here and there

I'll set the scene, the previous day myself and a friend had hiked to Zelenogorsk to grab some Ammo and hopefully an M4 for my friend, after a full search we had ammo pouring out our rucksacks but alas no M4. We decided to call it a night and logged off, hiding in the woods just south of the military compound. The next day i log in alone, we plan on moving north to intercept some bandits that have been killing people on sight (another friend of ours got wasted by them, we play the same server and we have spotted them twice there in two days) Back on track, my friend was delayed so i had 20 minutes to waste, i decided to head back to the military base and try to find that allusive gun. I swung round to the South east side of town to scan for movement before i enter the town, all looks clear, i see static zombies and no doors open, all good signs.... i sling my mosin on my back and make a break for the southern wall of the compound. I make it, i hit the deck checking to see if anyone has followed me, nothing I'm clear. Learning from previous noob like mistakes, i patrol the wall ensuring the compound is clear... then thud, my heart jumps a beat there's an armed player in the middle of the compound, i don't move i just observe his movements, it appears he's just standing outside the prison building, i slowly move along the wall heading east, i know there's a gap in the wall i can squeeze through, then i see movement in the barracks, hes not alone his friend is ransacking the place. I move round to the eastern wall, and hop through the gap in the wall, i am now 20 feet away from the survivor in the compound, hes just standing there waiting for his friend, mosin on his back and no pistol drawn. His friend is in the nearest barracks to the prison building. Crouching i draw my rifle, and train my iron sights on the first survivors head, "friendly" i shout, he hits the deck and draws his rifle aiming it in my rough direction "Friendly" again i shout, there's no response, i give him one last chance, ignore this and i'll have to take him as hostile "friendly, I'm friendly i could have killed you for the last 5 minutes, stand up and put your rifle on your back"........ my finger tightens on the trigger, then finally i hear "OK friendly" he stands and does as i had requested. "ask your friend to come out, no weapons drawn or I'll have to shoot" ( i have been killed enough times trying to be friendly) his friend emerges, M4 on his shoulder. We stood and chatted for a bit, i explained the layout of the town to them and asked them if they needed any supplies, they couldn't believe i had gotten so close without them seeing me. With a parting wave, i sent them on their way. I felt good, i hadn't been gunned down, my friendly approach had worked, and i hadn't been a SOS bandit scum. I headed back to the southern forest to meet with my friend, knowing the military base had been raided we swung west and headed north! I wonder how those two survivors got on.......

I had them at a disadvantage, only risk was if his mate came out spraying! But i had my magnum aimed on the door as he exited.

Mate was there last night, Walking down some stairs, and his character glitched through a wall and fell 4 foot to the bottom, then he rubber banded and then, black screen "you are dead" so i would guess so. -

Thought of something similar, great idea! I have tried to take two people hostage in my time, made it very clear i didn't want to kill them, just rob them. Both times they just combat logged! makes the game seem a little pointless at times, and makes you think, had i just shot them i would have got their stuff!!!

I find a spray can, with 100% remaining. Put it in my back pack, then it reduces to 0% .. this has happened on 3 occasions to me. Anyone else getting this?

Ok heres an idea, how about using a spade you dig a "stash" In the stash you can have 20 storage units, so you can stash weapons, ammo, food and clothing etc? Then if you die, all you need to do is find a spade, find the location where you dug your stash and dig it up? A stash, could also be marked with a little marker like a little pile of mud etc? so if an observant player saw it and had a spade they could rob your stash?

Yeah, still i think its a cool idea.

Yeah good idea, i might be wrong but with the way the Hive works, i think this would only be possible on one server at a time, so if you made a stash on server A and then played on server B, the stash would not be there, you would have to rejoin server A.

Rocket, Mate i have been watching this game form since it was first thought of, and i have just joined the forum soley to say. You and your team are doing a great job, the Alpha is already immensly fun to play and me and my friends are loving it, i have lost two fully loaded and eqiuped characters due to server issues etc and frankly i don't care. Its part of the process, please ignore the crying keyboard warriors, the lastest generation of PC gamers are a bunch of whining kids most of the time. Keep up the great work, on an outstanding game...... FuriosJam.
