  1. God I hate it so much that people like you will ask your buddies who are not on the same server to ghost in on me or my friends from behind because we happen to have the upper hand. You are breaking the immersion of the game and ruin the whole point and experience of the game. (That anything can happen in this sandbox). For all the people on here who complained their asses off about server hoppers.......... if you don't hate guys who ghost in on people that legitimately cornered their friend on a completely differerent server...... than why the hell complain about server hoppers at all. Get rid of the fucking spawn timer if everyone thinks its OK to have friends ghost in for you because you don't want to face your reality.
  2. Decent head start for bohemia? Will zeds in the new games walk through walls? Will their controls not respond? Will the rendering of bullet impacts be broken? No, so Bohemia is behind the new zed game.

    It's a little silly to believe that if the AK files are already in the game that Bohemia would bother to change them rather than just go with what is already there. Have you not seen zombies for the past 2 years? They are still broken as hell. So they audio for the AK would be kept the same too I would think.

  5. Why in God's name did they bother to make the crossbow and release it in the patch if it has no stealth and aggros zeds? When we noticed suppressors didn't work we just accepted it because they were already in the game and figured they were working on it........... When they gave us the Amphibian S that has a freaking built in suppressor...... then it was really ridiculous because the excuse that an attachment issue was not longer at hand like with the suppressor attachments not working on guns. But, the greatest acts of ridiculous come in 3's, so Bohemia gave us a crossbow...... which for the love of God, should not possibly be loud enough to aggro zeds no matter what......but... Bohemia, you managed to fucking amaze me........ the fucking crossbow aggros zombies. Why did they waist time creating and implementing.... and putting the crossbow in the game if it's core function is broken?
  6. How, in God's name, are we "testing" anything if so many things are poorly implemented or downright broken? What empirical data can we possibly gather for Bohemia that is useful if so many things are so badly broken? The idea that they are giving us spray cans and new guns is not providing them with clairvoyant and amazing breakthroughs in information. If the devs can learn how to make the game better by giving me broken items on top of the poorly implemented mechanics..... let me save them the 5 months of work so far................... Fix ambient noise glitch, fix unresponsive hot keys, fix distance rendering bug, fix a lot of stuff and keep the broken crossbow, amphiban S, and suppressors.

    If Bohemia was in the margin of hiring competent talent and resources with the 40 million dollars in revenue they raised....... we'd have working suppressors, fixed zombies, fixed ambient sounds, fixed desync, and fixed disntance rendering.

  9. Someone posted a reddit snapshot of Rocket first being made aware of how that last update destroyed distance rendering of bullet impacts over 100 m as well as creating blurry object issues. From looking at the post, it was only this fan that informed him of it for the first time. Is there any idication they will bother to fix it by the end of May update? I know many fans have made posts about it but we have heard almost nothing about it from devs. The fact that a fan had to inform Rocket about how the last update broke his intellectual property scares the fuck out of me.

    Actually, they fixed the dupe exploit where you have two rifles and the one in your hands dupes by dropping on ground when you log out but you still have an extra.... This has been fixed so you are wrong about why they found this m4 on the ground. I think that the guy was carrying two primaries and dropped it when he used an ax... Or purposely dropped it because he wanted to run faster. My friends and I carry two primaries a lot because we snipe with mosin and keep m4's on us. And we often accidently drop one .

    LOL. That's laughable. There are serious issued with the network. I can't even pull out my pistol with the hot key button if there is more than 30 people on the server. Whoever thinks that vehicles would be in the next patch has never played the current version of Dayz SA.
  14. Ahhh. but Rocket assumed that it was perhaps due to the client not talking with the server side over the network. If that's correct, that's a serious ass core component of the game to me. If you mean controls when I say core mechanic, then I have to say, that, yes, this is not a serious issue with controls.
  15. But when has Bohemia ever shown in interest in the bugs that their patches create? Or an interest in the way we complain about core mechanics? And what is Experimental for? All the players there surely should have noticed that nothing was rendering over 100m.... and we have been complaining for weeks since stable but hardly any peep from devs about it.   16. But if someone is new to sniping in the DayZ game...... who starting sniping only after they broke the distance rendering.... how can they learn and know their distances? There are so many few damn zombies that it is very difficult to learn how to zero your scope by killing zombies because there may be none in the areas where you are not sure of your range. I think the problem with no one understanding how critical is.... is because everyone on the forum learned to snipe when the distance rendering was working. It is incredibly hard to learn how to snipe if you just started once it broke. That's when I started... just a week before they gave us a worthless patch.
  17. Yes. But could they at least make a one sentence statement acknowledging the problem and saying "hey guys, will be fixed in future updates, maybe not May, but definitely by June". Would it be too much to ask for a simple statement like that so that all of us people who made Dean rich could at least get some kind of idea of what to expect? I mean Jesus Christ, I'm not asking for a vehicle, or even a damn bike. We are only asking when they might fix something that used to already work in the game. How the hell am I being unreasonable?
  18. OK, now we are getting somewhere.... so let's ask Accolyte if they are working on the broken functionality for the late May update.... Or........ is my gut feeling correct..... that they are pretending like the problem doesn't exist? I only want to know that. No need for all the drama that is being built up because people want to come defend the DayZ Stand Alone development so badly that they ignore critical problems that I'm asking about.
  19. Well im sorry about that. Its frustrating that we have zero indication they are working ony any core mechanics..... So when the last patched destroyed a key functioning of engaging players at over 100m...... And we had to explain this problem to Dean..... And he haphazardly says..... " I have not talked about that with Devs". My only reaction is we are screwed. We lost a core function of the game and they have never improved core functions of the game. How are we supposed to react knowing these facts?

But i was confused because Dean said he asked about it......and then in same conversation says he has not talked about it with devs. My original post was just asking if anyone knows if the late May update will have a fix. My intention was not to complain, but to learn if devs are acknowledging it yet.
  22. We see this excuse over and over again.......... Its alpha. Yes its alpha...... But why release a patch without testing? In a game that has nothing to do but pvp to high heaven...... You dont release a patch that makes engaging players that are over 100m a colossal and misreable cluster fuck because we cant see a bullet impact the person or objects nearby. How is this not obvious to everyone? Why did no one notice this on experimental? Who is reporting on there to devs?
  23. Did you read my post or ever play the game? It isnt just impacts of walls and ground that fail to render.... There is no blood spurt from impact now. If you want realism, why are you not concerned no blood on impact of a high velocity rifle round? And why are we even having this conversation? They unintentionally broke a very simple function that all fps games intentionally have. Why do you want to give them an excuse to lazily ignore a big problem with their games functionality? I cant believe you are excusing them.

  25. Its not a game breakingbug that the game now fails to show blood spurts or bullet impacts? Are you fucking serious? This game has nothing to fucking do in it but pvp..... So for us to have no hit detection along with the shitty dispersion and bad mechanics..... We now have a serious disadvantage for engaging in firefights... What the fuck do you do in dayz? Just play on servers with 5 people tonot realize this is game breaking?
