Nope. You will only hear " its alpha". Or " every game had the same amount of cheating". Which I think is a hug lie. I dont get why its so popular to risk steam accounts for an alpha game. Unless, you can cheat without bans. -

Did you know Star Citizen has over 219 people working on the game? Is might be over 230 now. So good question. Why such a small DayZ team for a game that is immensely popular on 3 continents if you count Australia?

Bohemia and Dean are shopping the title around and have no intention of actually finishing the game or fixing the core.

You missed the point. They are so glitched that it breaks the game. Just last night I was looting the ATC at the NE airstrip and when I was walking down the stairs to exit a quiet zombie was comlpetely inside the staircase hidden from me and i was bleeding. Somehow, this set off other clipping ass zombies that ghosted in walls before i could exit and fight em on the open. Its a fucking game breaker, before the patch, the embarassing shittyness of their zombies was far less noticeable. How is it that the laughable brokenness of zombies only concerns a few people?

LOL. So weird how people either believe the development pace is completely fine and others like us think the pace of development is downright ridiculous. I admit I may be the wrong one but my gut tells me Bohemia and Dean don't really intend on finishing the game, they made 30 million.... what the hell do they need to finish the game for?

But that's the thing. Zombies don't have to be crap if this is the game to end all other zombie games. Imagine the awards and legendary status that Dean and Bohemia could achieve if they took a portion of the 30 million and hired game artists to blend in more zombie bodies (ones that are not moving yet or awake), into the map environment so when the game wants to spawn zombies after you made a noise, the game brought to life this zombie bodies that you might have walked by or saw. So it's a fucking hughe leap immersion. You walked by sleeping zombies that you saw, and now they woke up and came after you. That's how you fucking spawn zombies. Will Bohemia do this? If not, then they are not serious about realism or immersion. They would be fucking legends f they did this on a map this big. Fucking legends.

I agree guys that since its aplha, maybe zombies will be fixed. I agree that the game has potential, im just worried about where the game is going. The updates to zombies has gone further away from immersion. ( like they should spawn not in front of us)

Yes, Im fucking stupid for thinking that for 2 years, the mod and stand alone have had laughably broken zombies that would never pass any other games quality control at alpha stage. Also, i guess im also fucking stupid for thinking its ridiculous and a red flag that the original coders who made the zombies and got part of the 30 million cant figure out how to fix the zombies and need to outsource it. Have a nice day man.

You are missing his point. I believe what the OP really means is the destruction of the immersion to our game experience with such broken zombies. I think its hard for many of the players to articulate the immersion factor of the game. I dont think they just mean zombies are too hard due to collision issues, they mean that its so fucking ridiculous that they ghost through walls even after updates,that its annoying and we cant use realistic tactics like walls and buildings.

Because we gave 30 million dollars to Dean to fix shit like this. But there is zero evidence they have addressed zombie collision issues. They even admitted an entirely different team of coders would be needed to fix it which tells me they ignored it. Can we all give Dean another 10 bucks each so 10 million bucks to hire more people? Im in.

That would be fine if zombies didnt ghost through walls or sawn unrealisticly destroying the immersion. Why not have zombies spawn from inanimated bodies, and have to use the physics of our characters........ And they can all go after our gunshots all day.

What the hell? Not if you take a few million and put out a bounty for any talented team from silicone valley to Taiwain to fix the code and optimize. Talent can achieve great things faster than others. And millions can buy talent. You know why NFL starting recievers make 7 million a year? Because they are faster than you and me. So does Dean just mean that for the limited resources and talent they settled for when he said they need time not money?

By your rationale, how the fuck can a game focused on zombies have such laughably broken zombies that ghost through walls consistently for over 2 years and after 30 million dollars in revenue? Are you sure you want to point out the games focus is on zombies? In that case, Bohemia and Dean should get the fuck out of the gaming business.

Why is everyone against the OP? Yes zombies can be dealt with but is the OP wrong for questioning why they would not fix zombie collision yet? Is it really unreasonable that they fix it first? What if they changes they made to zombies make it harder to fix collision? How is testing of alpha helpful if the zombies are even more broken now than ever before?

I admit I have been a dick and too critical, but it was a response o the blind fanboyism. I really want Dayz to succeed. I dont expect forgiveness for the shit I said, but i will try to earn it back. Thank you moderatorsfor not banning me. My true heart is for dayz and the community of players to enjoy the game. -
Tell me one time where battlefield players can fly or teleport an entire server of players to their death at one time? No serious game has the loopholes that Dayz so far has. Do you guys play other games? Even counterstrike while a mod was harder to cheat.
