But why release the broken updates for the world to see what has your name on it? Why not test the shit out of stuff and just release a month later? I make jewelry on the side that sells in an art gallery in Alaska. I dont send pieces to them unless Im satisfied with them. Sometimes I send 5 designs a month. Others I send none because I was not happy with my product.

Not sure, but I guess the purse strings holders are not purchasing enough talent and resources. I feel bad for the developers, unless they got a fair share of the 40 million.... In that case, the joke is on us. -
Fair enough. But, other things did get worse. Zombies now spawn in a game breaking, fake way. Have you not seen them ontop of impossible buildings? Inventory slots in our bags are now mysteriously unusable/broken. The ambient noise glitches have worsened which breaks the immersion. The fact that many serious issues like zombie collision and weapon hot keys being unresponsive have been ignored is in my opinion, a step backwards given their 4 months time and 40 million dollars in revenue.

Wtf? Isnt it more amazing that they didnt know this was happening on experimental before they pushed it out to more players? How is it possible that a casual gamer like me sees major glitches on regular but hardcore players and the devs didnt see this on experimental weeks ago? So, no, this testing is not working at all. Why have experimental at all that just wastes time if they are happy with their additions anyways?

What game are you playing to not know DayZ SA has had more of its features and playability broken since December? Or is it that you have only played Big Rigs game so you think this Alpha improvement is acceptable?

lol". They dont assume anything they do will cause problems and just release updates thinking the game will be better. They have been wrong on every update since december. What you said is exactly whats wrong. I dont blame the developers, they just need more help and resources.

Lol. You guys are comical. They cant even fix the unresponsive hot keys but you are discussing how they might "optimize the rendering of objects based on player scope and proximity". Give me a fucking break. That sounds 1000 times more complicated than making my hot key respond or making inventory slots not be unusable. -
Lol. Fuck yeah the updates are confusing. Every update has broken important immersion and feature factors of the game. Zombies are worse ( the way they spawn and still broken), objects being rendered at distance is broken, we now have broken inventory slots, weapon hot keys are still unresponsive very often, ambient noise glitches are still breaking the game, and yet, they call these updates? Why release updates without testing? Or do they know the garbage they are putting out?

Is the bow silent to zeds or broken like every suppressor in the damn game? ( do zombies aggro at sound of bow up to 100m?

Why complain. Use night servers to legitimately loot up since you dont have to server hop.

When updates stop breaking the current version of the game, I will stop. If you cant see and bullet hit an object past 100m now, sniping is no longer a playable option for the game since follow up shots are useless. It was fun learning to adjust and zero scopes. Now every bastard is going to use more m4s.

The game now having broken iventory slots, broken distance renderings, and the fact I still have to hit my weapon hot key 10 fucking times to pull my gun out is our fault because we dont all lick Bohemias balls? Wow.

Whats the point of any of these updates that further brake the game. Every update has been two steps back. This is the most ridiculous set if game patches ive ever seen in my life.

They fucking broke the games distance rendering. Did you not see the 10 posts today about how the game can no longer render the small dust poof from bullets hitting walls over 100m away? Before the latest update, all hits to 900m or so rendered so you can zero scope shots.

I was wondering if there is a way to determine if the devs are aware of the game breaking issue of bullet hits not rendering anymore if over 100m distance? ( used to be well over 800 m). Did they do this on purpose or is it a glitch that their testers missed before update? This is game breaking if you need to shoot over 100m. Since its impossible to know where your bullets land when zeroing your distance.

Has anyone determined if the devs are even aware of this game breaking problem since update? Im fucking pissed off about this. Why does every update come with game breaking problems? Why not test the patch for a few hours before approving releases?

An honest question about whether there are more steps back then forward.

I seriously want to have discussion about whether we are seeing more steps forward or more steps back. By my account, it is the latter. Here is my accounting thus far.... Steps back...... 1. They broke the games ability to render bullet hits past 100m. So zeroing in your sniping shots is now broken. The game used to render bullets hitting objects at over 800m. 2. The zombies now instantly disappear when you kill them. 3. We know have a 500 sec. Wait timer because its a lazy way to solve ghosting or hopping. 4. The game pauses with a error message at the worst time. Steps forward....1. We got a new gun or two. Thats all i got for steps forward. -

Did you read the post at all? The new fucking patch broke the games ability to render bullets hitting objects that worked fine before. How can you have 2000 posts but not know that in DayZ we used to see bullets register well past 100m. It was over 800m before this piece of shit patch.
