Call me insane, but I cannot understand for the life of me why they have spent so much time adding items and new features to the game but not updating the game breaking issues. The zombies actually seem to have gotten even worse about walking directly through not only walls, but entire buildings. It is so frustrrating to have a strategy about which weapon you want to use and how much time you have to prepare for an aggro'd zed only to find 2 of them are up your ass that appeared out of nowhere. I heard Star Citizen only raised 25 million but they have 3 entire seperate offices of people working full time on the game. What is the Dayz team doing with 30 million?

After the last patch, we got a game breaking " missing file error" that literally stops the entire game every 20 minutes. This is the worst patch ever released for any game in history. 10 minutes of testing could have prevented that.

Maybe they chose the sitting for 30 seconds After you log out because its a half assed way to also address the duplication exploit. So in a lazy way, they addressed combat logging and the duplication exploit with the most minimal coding possible. I really am starting to think Dayz will never be finished. But I hope Im wrong and wish them success.

I can't believe no one is talking about how since the patch, the game actually pauses to give you a "missing file or item" error message and you must click continue to rejoin the game. This is awful and clearly demonstrates the newly patched game is 100 times worse than the previous version. I get this error every 20 minutes or so. Does anyone know if it's only certain items in your inventory that trigger it or is it just unavoidable? One person said it was military helmet problem, but is this for the server and game file or if it's in your inventory?

I did try a search about the missing file error message that pauses the game since the last patch for Stand Alone came out. But people only mention it. I would like to please know if there is a way to disable the error message since it pauses the game? Did they not test the patch at all because I find this highly annoying and almost game breaking. wouldn't you have to go almost out of your way to make the game actually pause itself and require you click a button to continue? Did they release a way to disable this?

Ol. Thanks for the replies. I was just checking to see if it was possible to stop. I get this is Alpha, but seriously, if they had just tested the game for 20 minutes before releasing the patch, they would see this happens all the time and then they could have stopped it. Does it happen less for some people? I find it happens about every 20 minutes of gameplay since the patch. How often to you guys get it? And have you ever been in the middle of a fire fight when it happened? The zombies walking through walls and doors with no problem no longer seems to be a concern. So what brilliant move by the developers..... Instead of fixing problems, make new bigger problems so that we forget about the old problems......... 30 million dollars well spent I guess.

Dude. York, what are you talking about! Its perfectly fair. All the day servers are completely full at all times. And night servers, while sometimes empty, are very difficult to navigate. After the disabled clouds exploitfix, its very difficult to gear up and avoid zombies at night. I dont understand how any better balanced this can be.

Last night, myself and my 3 buddies spawned from a night server to a day server in Electro. 2 of us were inside a building and the other 2 were close by but outside the building. All 4 of us were instantly shot before finishing our spawn. Even the two of us inside a building. To the punk cheater who was cheating. You are a little piece of crap. If you are over 18 years old I will pay you 500 dollars to meet me and spend some "time" with me in a room for 5 minutes. You are so pathetic for giving up the touch of a woman or the thrill of winning a sport game in order to learn how to hack a game and kill people unfairly. If you feel better by making others miserable but have to cheat in order to do this..... Then I have a lesson about misery that I want to teach you. Damn you for being a little punk biatch. And damn DayZ developers for allowing the game to so easily be hacked. I have never seen a game that had so many hacks when the version has only been out for a month or two. Can the developers please take part of the 30 million and put it towards anti cheating?

Lock a post because it exposes the unbridled cheating that may ruin the games future? Why not discuss it so we can fix it. I want Dayz to succeed.
