    Delay when messing around with inventory?

    Everyone says " welcome to alpha". But, is this normal that a game gets worse while they are developing? For example, Ive had the stand alone from day 1, and never ever crashed to desktop. Until the last update, now I crash to desktop once every 1 to 2 hours. Also, none of the big problems with the core of the game have improved. If anything, things have gotten worse. At what point do we admit that Bohemia is not talented enough to optimize a shitty engine?

    Did you spray paint it? The devs have managed to not fix the fucking spay paint bug thst effects the ammo count and loading.
  3. You are right. I didnt know if you split ruined ammo you get some that is not ruined. But if you only get 1 good round per split, that is not worth the risk of engaging some one in combat. So again, your idea does not work for survival until they fix the game. He is better off traveling to the quiet towns if he really needs gear.
  4. But this fucking game is so broken, that if you sneeze on a person, all their fucking ammo is ruined. Even the ammo in protecter cases is ruined if you shoot someone. Why the fuck did they implement ruined ammo but there is zero hit detection?
  5. Why would it make sense to go out of our way to have heart attacks as possibilities to our character when there is far more common health needs? Why add this........ But not the following that are more likely 1. Have to pass a kidney stone 2. Have to pee 3. Have to shit 4. Have a migraine 5. Get scurvy 6. Get a sexually transmitted disease.... 7. Etc. Seriously. What the fuck is the reason to put heart attacks in the fucking game? Its just fucking annoying, random bullshit.

    How in Gods fuck are you hitting anything while shooting prone?. Everytime Ive ever fucking tried to shoot while prone my bullets hit an invisible wall on this fucking game. Is there a trick I dont know?
  9. Anyone else getting an increase in crashes and character wipes? I never ever crashed to desktop until starting about one or two weeks ago. I also have more character wipes. And I just read a post that the respawning of zombies has no consideration to line of sight. They just spawn out of thin air, and with all their broken issues. Please tell me that its normal for a game to get worse before it gets better.

    Jesus christ, I was just asking if it was normal, I didnt say I was pissed about it. I thought its alarming that I have played the game since day 1, and never crashed to desktop until recently, which now happens a lot.

  12. Earlier, I asked about why I have never seen an FXN magazine at the NEAF (The one North of Berezino). A lot of you said that I was just unlucky and that several of you swear that they do spawn there. Well, after another 7 or 10 days of me going up there almost once or twice a day, I have still, never, ever seen an FXN magazine spawn there. Are you guys sure you've seen one in the last 4 weeks? (Only 4 weeks ago, did I ever start going that airfield). I have found shit loads of scopes, even pristine, tons of all the good military loot. But not a single, fucking FXN magazine. I believe that there is a glitch and that they don't spawn there. I know they are small and hard to see. For those of you that swear they still spawn there, can you please tell me which buildings and what floor do you see them in? Now I'm talking only for the NEAF, which I swear on my life, is not spawning FXN magazines at least for the last 4 weeks that I've ever tried.
  13. Yes. So stupid I literally have to fight 8 guys to a death match at electra firehouse because the dont spawn anywhere else, except a few certain afs.
  14. Appreciate the tips guys. The reason why I was hoping I can get one at Neaf is because the guys I play with normally want to play in Berezino. So its so annoying that it looks like the Neaf is the only airfield that does not spawn .45 magazines. Does the police station in that town north of the neaf spawn .45 mags?

    LOL. WTF When Zombies no longer glitch through walls and when we no longer break legs from using stairs........... then we will talk about the possibility of helis on this broken ass core. Seriously, you want to see helis on this broken ass game? What kind of physics problems and controls issues can you imagine we would see if they took a stab at aircrafts?

Well just two or 3 days after we hear that the number of people working on Dayz will go from 30 to 60, it was just announced that 213 people are developing another title that does not even have a publisher like DayZ has. 213 people are making Star Citizen currently... (apparently, my earlier posts about them having 80 or 90 was very outdated.) Why such a huge difference? www.polygon.com/2014/3/4/5470564/star-citizen-dogfighting-module-to-launch-after-pax-east check last paragraph or two for reference to 213 people. This is the latest.
  19. Logistical problems? We have something called filesharing and internet. Star Citizens 213 developers are in at least three different offices thanks to something called technology. The project seems to be coming along nicely. I love reading these responses that are basically saying Star Citizens way of making a good game is completely wrong or impossible in order to not admit that Dayz may never be finished or will never be acceptable.
  20. But who here thinks Dayz is only a 30 to sixty person project? It is wildly popular on 3 continents, uses a huge map that could use a wider variety of content, has a fucking insane amount of broken core that requires a ton of man power and clever ideas in order to optimize... You have missed the entire point. The guy who created Star Citizen believes his game is big and beautiful so he found 213 developers and it looks to me that the guy who sold out Dayz does not think his game is that important anymore.

  23. Ok. Then I should have wrote that without an existing professional development studio, The Star Citizen creator found 213 full time developers. While Bohemia, who should already have a long list of resumes for when big projects call, could only find 30 or 40 people after getting flushed with over 30 million in cash. So my point must be clearer now.
  24. Have you never hear of "industry standards"? So are you saying that game development is the one industry where there is no industry standards or norms, conventions, etc.? My question was only asking what is the norm if there are so many differences between these two games who both raised 30 plus million dollars. If the Yankees and the Mets both had 150 million dollars to spend but only one team hired 10 pro starters and the other hired 3 pro starters, would you not wonder why one team cares more about winning then the other? Thanks for your lousy attempt to insult me.
