Fucking steam? Thousands of people across three continents have been unable to play dayz on regular servers for last two days due to the shitty patch......... But you want to blame steam for having a fleeting issue?

Ok. Thanks dude. So essentially, you are not really installing a different game version which resets controls, you are just choosing to run the game on a different set of servers? But will have different characters just like on hardcore? Sorry for newbie questions.

Do you really think that returning to the patch that didnt have fake zombie spawns that appear before your eyes and destroys the immersion of the game while exponentially multiplying the broken ass collision problems that 31 million dollars in revenue has failed to rectify.............. " is moving backwards" ? Seriously? The last patch could not have gone worse. How would deleting that abortion be going backwards?

Yeah, how dare we complain that the game was completely broken and unplayable with all the disconnects for thousands of people on the 3 continents that Dayz is played on. (Europe, Australia, North America). I guess at least now they know using experimental to test patches is completely useless.

Thanks guys. That would be impressive if they release a fix tomorrow. I knew they couldn't today.. But why not roll back out the old patch, and we can play that.... while they work on the new patch?

I tried to keep an open mind today while reading about the new patch at work all day. Get home around 8 PM Eastern time. 4 of my buddies and brothers go on Vent like we do each time and start looking for servers. For a solid fucking hour, every single server either did not work at all or we got bumped out within seconds. Seeing how many people in many different time zones were reporting they played the patch all day at different times, with some lag issues, but able to play.... I figured it might just be a short problem. But between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM not a single fucking person I know was able to play the game. How did they not know the game would be this bad if they tested it for weeks?

If you remove the word fuck from all my sentences you can easily see the clear and concise points that are well validated and relevant. Using the work fuck may not be great manners, but it does not always mean the person is stupid. I'm actually a professional educator. The progress of this game is so infuriating, that I curse wildly and only on this venue. I have degrees in history and economics. I am far from stupid. This game's incredibly unprofessional expansion brings out the worst in me. I had so much expectation so when I see these game breaking problems in every single patch, I go off the deep end.

Did you only play on servers with less than 10 ? Those work. But servers with more than 15 or so has instant crashes and kicks.

I think since all 4 of my buddies try to join same servers, thats what crashes 100 of all servers over 18 or 20 full. If only one person joins a server at a time, some of you are getting through.

I guess you are unaware most americans use steam and it auto updated for us. Also, my first sentence said I was aware of an update, why would I know that but not make sure we updated? Can you read?

Well you got your fucking wish. I'm not bitching about the shitty and lazy way they have ignored zombie glitching..... I just tried for one fucking hour to play on one single fucking server between 8:30 and 9:30 PM Eastern Time zone with 4 buddies and none of us could get a single server to work for more than 20 seconds. How in God's fuck could they have not seen problems this big when they tested the patch for weeks? Please fucking explain this to me.

All four of my buddies and brother and I could not get on a single fucking server from 8:30 to about 9:30 PM Eastern Time. How in God's fuck did they not know about these issues? Using math, could they not determine the lag issues once going on the main servers?

So why fucking bother adding broken zombies if a more competent team will be changing and fixing the zombies? Why create huge fucking server lag for nothing?

Sorry. You are right. I have been a complete ass. I really do want the game to succeed. I will try to be more positive. Admins, please dont ban me, i will be more pleasant starting now. I wont give up on dayz yet. I wont.

You cant wait to try epic lag, worse zombie AI, fake zombie respawns that drop out of thin air in front of you, game settings thst ate completely fucked now, and the inability to see servers and lose connections every 300 seconds? Im excited too.

LOL. Just give the zombies a few tweaks and it will be good to go? Are you fucking serious? The devs have failed to improve zombie collision and AI for 2 years. What evidence do you have that DayZ will ever be able to fix zombies or how they spawn?

But the zombies are so fucking broken, that lets say the team makes adjustments to the game based on what they see now........ And then later, they fix the zombie collision and zombie AI........ Isnt that going to create all new fucking problems? How can they test the game with poorly implemented and completely broken zombies?

Because it takes more competence and talent to patch with a working core and working AI. sorry guys, we are truly fucked in expecting Dayz to ever be completed.

Dean says something, but does it mean the Dayz team can actually implement a more realistic way to spawn zombies? Why did they waste time codeing the game to spawn in a completely different way than what the creator said?
