    permanent health damage

i think its not the same as i suggested. because the gameplay will not change when you survived longer. if you are a little bit disabled and cant run so fast your gameplay will change. that is a disadvantage but you are a survivor, so you have better equipment than a fresh-spawn. or a vehicle, so you dont have to walk that much.

i think that doing without nice features because of evil, sick bastards is not the right way we should go.

as a developer myself (i dont want to sound arrogant) i say: "nothing is impossible if you have enough ressources and time." the question is: "is it worth, spending the time for this feature?" and i think we should discuss this in the suggestions forum. the pros and cons.

yes and the badass artifical limb in the walking dead.

your equipment is the value. you dont want to lose it. and thats the point where it gets interesting, because you have to decide if you want to play without your leg or without your equip. and in the end, every character will die. that is the endgame of dayz. i dont think there is any player who has survived with his first character. so the game untill the end should be as awesome as it could be. so when the situation comes and you see the dead-screen, i want to think: "that character was awesome, i survived that f**king massacre in elektro. got shot in the arm. had to find a limb and killed tons of bandits with only one arm. but then i got infected and decided to kill myself instead of been a zombie." now its like: "i survived the massacre in elektro with black and white screen. patched myself up and killed lots of bandits"

i thought a little bit about the survival, realism aspect of dayz. what would happen if your character could get injuries that will not heal completely? for example, if you get bitten by a zombie in the arm. little chance of virus-infection and you have to amputate the arm. it will not grow back and for the rest of this characters life you are disabled. doing stuff with two hands is no longer possible. you can build a artificial limb to do two handed things but they will take longer and have more chance of failing. or somebody shoots you in the leg and it is almost destroyed. you can build a artificial limb. but you will never be that fast as before. or maybe you lost an eye, so the screen will get 1/3 dark. i think it could bring some cool, epic and intensive gameplay and an emotional binding to your character, more survival feeling maybe the play-style and feeling will change if your characters abilities will change if you meet some friendly players you can share some story maybe the players will play more defensive, maybe in combination with this post: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/173039-defensive-play/?hl=defensive and in the end, if everything is lost, you have the possibility to kill yourself. and it will be a hard decision, because you survived all that shit before

But what about the female charakters. maybe the hair on the legs will grow and it will swell out of their trousers?^^ or the breasts will grow if they survive longer? i prefer that ;)

Allow Iv Bag Use On Yourself

got a cool idea: -you can install the IV/Blood-infusion by yourself or by an other player, (you have a chance of failing and producing a wound or infection) -self installation takes little bit longer and the risk for wounds is higher -after the installation the IV-bag is in your hand and you have to hold it to the high (like the surrender animation) maybe not so realistic^^ -the process takes some time and if you move, you have the chance of producing a wound (not running just walking) -after or during the process you have to remove the bag by yourself or by another player (you have the chance of failing and producing a wound or infection) -self deinstallation takes a little bit longer and the risk for wound is higher pros: -self-infusion is possible -if you are in a 2 men group you can dicide if you do it together and be vulnerable for a short time or you do it alone and be covered, but the chance for wounds and infections is higher -team- transfusion is not so overpowered because you are not so mobile for the time of the process cons: -i dont know,im sure you will find some ^^

Add more Zombies to solve KOS

i like that idea and i made a similar post some time ago. http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/169721-the-ultimate-solution-for-kos/?hl=ultimate

Allow Iv Bag Use On Yourself

i was playing dayz mod for a long time. and it never happend that a stranger gave me a bloodtransfusion or that someone asked me to give one. i think the most advantage for playing as a team is that your are playing as a team. sounds stupid i know. there shouldn´t be much more game-mechanic disadvantages for lonewolfs. the normal coop-actions should be enough advantage for a team, like: -you can cover your friends -flank other players -suppression-fire -bandage unconscious players, wake them up -drag friends out of the danger and so on if they implement actions to the game which are logical not possible for one person, then it is ok, in my opinion

But i think that a multiplayer-game (what dayz is) without forced player interaction is like a single player game. and if i imagine dayz playing alone on a server it is not really fun. that is not what i mean. you can play the way you want. you can kill everyone you will meet. my suggestion brings 2 differences. 1. it is impossible to survive on an one player server (in the alpha and the mod, it is now possible but boring) 2. you have a stimulation to think about a KoS, because the player is able to help you (now he is not, he is just a threat)

Thanks, so you understand what i mean. But i have the feeling that just adding more zombies and making the game more difficult will NOT increase the teamwork i think that the devs have to be sure that a player cant survive without interaction with other players. by interaction i mean killing other players, hi jacking other players, looting other players camps, teamworking with other players and so on. because the best dayz-moments arise in situations with other players. the apocalypse, the zombies, the hunger and everything is just the scenery for great stories the players made. but the scenery has to guide and force a little bit in the right direction.

Sorry, i don´t understand what you mean.

    The Ultimate Solution For Kos

Maybe the title was not so good^^ i don´t want to eliminate the KoS. but i think the KoS how it is now is not so good and it is to deathmatch-like. you see someone-you kill him. because you have no reason to let him alive. he cant help you. he can give you a bloodbag. but what is the reason he should do that? i want to create a reason for not killing him. but i think if you have to ponder about killing the other player or trying to play (at least some time) together with him. the game will get more intensive. because you have to think about. "ok lets loot one more house and then i will shoot that guy in his back. before he does" and the other guy will think the same. i think it will be an improvement and much more motivating.

in the game how it is now, your life has no value, for other players your life stands between them and your loot. -with my suggestion your life becomes a value for other players. because you are a better chance to survive and to get better loot
