Thats awesome. The night needs to stay. The night in my flashlight is really bright. At most give people some flares and chemlights on start. Then we could SLIGHTLY reduce their prevalence in lootpiles as well. Or just CHANGE NOTHING about the night

longer unconciousness and paralysis with sight
leo235 replied to leo235's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Death is annoying too though. If zombies ignored unconcious people that could actually help loners survive a bit longer and you would have the same panic whilst escaping them you just wouldnt die on your very first botched encounter with Zs. The question really is: Would we still shoot unconcious people to death at the same rate as we do now, because then this just makes for more time on the floor without any good side. -
Weaponry. Necessity borns the masters.
leo235 replied to Gordon Axeman's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Read my post. I said that people don't want to go to cities... Where else are you gonna find the stuff you listed? Like everywhere? PVC and string arent exactly seldom... The shoreline ANY building in the world TRASH -
Make killing an option... allow us to knock out fellow survivors :)
leo235 replied to jippyuk's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
NO No way you would go close enough to know someone out in the real world. I also doubt knocking people out is as easy or reliable. -
NO You cant know if someone is a murderer or not.

player killed by <zombie/player name/accident>
leo235 replied to BadAnti's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
NO you should have to find out by investigating the body or watching stuff happen. -
MEH how can you say you play Sandbox MMOs and then make this post? When someone new starts to play Eve and asks you what is the goal of the game you would have a harder time explaining that to him than here. Also: Title is nondescriptive and as I explained doesnt even fit the post. unoriginal ideas though yes the threads about lategame goals are hard to find via search function.

Flaslight attachment on jacket or flashlight headgear
leo235 replied to Svalleper's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
NO would be realistic and so on, But you would need yet another context option "turn headlight off" and that middlemouisebutton is going to get crowded anyway and gameplaywise i like the idea of beeing unarmed a lot of the time. Having to think what you put in what slot. -
wait so if I repeatedly shoot someone with bolts and then bandage and transfuse him he will become a hedgehog?

Remove Crowbar spawns since hatchet works 1.7.1.5
leo235 replied to Fifty -50-'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Yeah, I kinda agree but it really is kinda senseless to remove stuff. Instead there should be a function for crowbars, like barring doors, or breaking into unenterable buildings to make some shitty loot spawn on the doorstep. Or something -
Late game problems with DayZ + community feeling took a unexpected punch
leo235 replied to zogin's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Definitely agree on the lategame goals. But you mix so much stuff together. Global chat should only be possible for people who found a radio or something And I dont think that changing tents to buriable boxes would really change lategame experiences, although its a brilliant brilliant idea. An idea that only the smartest of men could ever have. Youd just have more of the same stuff if it wasnt stolen from you. What we need is more things you can do with stuff. player created groups, or some larger events like a zombieflood or fixable Town-generators would be examples. -
I would doubt that they fucked up weapon power, seeing this is a military simulation. Also This is way more fun even if it was unrealistic. I love how modern games often give you some time to shoot your attacker when you already know that theres no way youre gonna survive more than 2 sec

Blood Types - Adds realism and dynamism to DayZ.
leo235 replied to Phate4219 (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
slow constant blood regeneration and refillable bloodbags are good, but Blood-types? We should add allergies and random mistakes like losing stuff from your inventory while running then. Also the speed which with i usually lose blood makes me think that the only people who survived are the ultimate blood receivers. -
Electric and Natural lighting's V 4.0
leo235 replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
YES though I dont think this is thought through yet. Maybe if you power a town there wont be anymore zombies spawning in it? I dont see how they would pose a threat if I can have electrified/heatet metal plates and powertools. Also generators should have a growing chance of breaking by themselves the longer it runs. And make it really hard. If I see cherno lit at night that should be an epic event. not sure if we need batteries in the small equipment like NVGs and so on right away. -
Backpack slot. Alt to Classes/profession. V2.0
leo235 replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
MOSTLY YES YES to the general idea of having more big items that fill your backpack slot, (or your primary weapon slot)(or the secondary, although 2-3 items per slot is cool) NO to some of the specifics. Like the defib-unit. Death should be death. Make unconciousness last longer for that sort of play. -
YES I seldom hold very bright lights right in front of my eyes.

LESS could you poeple tell me wether you would like to see more or less ammo in the game? I just wanna know if my opinions are those of the masses and if Im hipster enough

Yet another suggestion to encourage teamwork and PK accountability
leo235 replied to Hieronymus Josche's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
I could tell you on this forum that ive murdered many a bandit and survivor in real life, but if you looked at me through binoculars you might get another opinion. Which is more likely to be right? Sight+brain or text I wrote you? -
kukri and melee weapons mechanics
leo235 replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
and youre right that would be cool. Though its nice gameplay wise to force people to specialize. Someone else mentioned that other items ( toolbox, maybe sandbags(they wouldnt need the toolbox for playcement anymore), car parts) should also only be carriable per hand and thats cool imo people would have classes like sniper, assault, melee and engineer/utility just by their equipment. -
Its all coke zero. Nobody drank that before the apocalypse

A move in the wrong direction on your part
leo235 replied to broken.fix it's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
The original points are stupid. I found it easier to get rid of LoS zombies than before. -
Suggest: Extend unconsciousness before death
leo235 replied to integ3r's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
I know of people whove been wounded badly and were unconcious for longer ties than 10min. Some apparently fall in a coma that can alst for any period of time. They couldnt die with the consequences of their actions so why should we? -
Add that fuking unzipping bag sounds finally PLEASE!!!
leo235 replied to unsobill's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
YES Backpacks make sounds I know this from school. -
Do you think the devs got together one day and said: Oh yeah the infected should be super fast and have really acute senses.Thats your job John. Oh and Billy, could you make it so that they cant use ladders and act retarded sometimes? There is no Billy on the Dev-team. What youre complaining about is something that will be fixed not added or that will never be fixed because its too much pain to fix it.
