    Cities too Easy?

You people.... Cities WORK perfectly as they do now for midclass gear and action. Thats what bebonzy meant and wrote and its also the reality. Also we cant well have more zombies, before there isnt a better way to lose them than run however far you are away to the nearest building and kill them or lose them beacuse of their speed in buildings.

    CROSSBOWS - Your opinion?

Definiteley could use a quiver ( THAT could be the rare item) I actually like the idea of the crossbow immensly. It should be even more abundant, so the noobs would all be silent, keep it hard to fire, but maybe make to bolts one shot chest kills for zombies? Also put the bolt in the zombies inventory on kill with bolt. Related: will we ever see some kind of crafting where you could make 15 bolts out of one piece of scrap metal when you have a toolbox or are in a factory or something?
  3. A noise trap would be easily implemented wouldnt it?. Only really helps snipers and people looting, but i think thats very worthwhile. Other traps dont make much sense right now imo, because when you dont have to be near they are just one more extremely random day to have your fun ended and when you have to be near, lying in the bushes youre a trap yourself already. Boobie-traps on dead bodies (or on your own) would be fun, because if real life turned out to be like dayz servers thats what I guess I would do. Have it switch-onnable.

    Kill on Sight Solutions?

Kill on sight has all parts of the solution already implemented: You can see You can kill. Now lets go to other problems like no kill on hit no sight on lag or global chat without radio
  6. First: would it be possible for people to spawn together? Maybe have all people spawn in the same area for 1min. So if me and my buddy spawn within 1min wed be together? Creating groups is the best way to counter all the whussies problems here I think and it wouldnt take away from us perfect Übermenschen who play the game the right way. Second: This goes slightly agains the first idea, but I dont like that you can just hit respawn to stand on the shore again. This makes death in the first minutes of the game so unconsequential. One idea would be to give a forced waiting time after death, but thats obviously taking more fun from everyone than it adds for those who would appreciate that extra bit of "realism" (I imagine real death to be pretty much the same as waiting 15 minutes) Or we could give different gear to people who had a longer last life. I dont know I just feel like that would give us more realism and more options. If you created a system like "what was your job before" or random starting gear that would really drive suicides through the roof without some sort of rule like this. What are your thoughts? How stupid does this sound? edit: the "forced to play as zombie" idea was missing
  7. NO it IS fucking annoying to run around. Random Items would be cool and please no overpowered melee.
  8. YES great idea. Implementation sounds even better than the dreams I had about this. Maybe make it undetectable again after a lot of murders, because you become cold blooded?
  9. Very much like where this idea is coming from / the explanations you have given. @sabata: Yes I think people are less humane who have killed in self defense. If someone told me on a party that someone broke into their house once and they had to kill them with their hands I would be very uncomfortable. And I think realism should very much be the objective. Otherwise a military-simulation-style game seems a strange choice for the mod and THAT IS what draws me and people I know who play to this. Game rules that would increase fun would be precisely the kind of nonsense that bandit-skins were.
  10. I think its precisely only the poeple who can shoot a gun, operate machinery, plan ahead and fly a helicopter who would survive. Helis definitely need to stay in the game. I dont know if theres ammo for the side-guns, but thats a must. If anything I would make that scarce. Helicopters give a great potential gameplay-element. It encourages team-play for those who want one, and gives opportunity for great situations where one dude manages to sneak into your heli when you just dont look for a second. There should be parachutes and maybe a ship that has its own spawnpoints and more players per server so you could have many camps and people should spawn together if they press spawn within 1min of eachother. And I should be the one in charge of everything
  11. Good point imo Still Id say just adjust the numbers slightly and were done here. Its not about hypothermia or disease but about the fact that shit sux when Im too hot or too cold and I always get worse at killing people and need more food and water when shit sux.

Low humanity --> gun on respawn

I have a slightly more drastic idea, that comes from the other side, but I think it fits perfectly here: People who have zero murders when they die dont fit my overly competetive worldview and my presumptions about what is realistic and those people couldnt exist, so if you die with zero murders you should start with a rifle and then an automatic sniper-rifle and night-vision goggles on the third time and if you still dont manage to murder someone youre clearly playing this all wrong and should be simply banned from all servers or the game should be made as painful to play for you as possible. Another idea would be that people who play friendly who are clearly coming off pretty bad with this playstyle should have that reflected on respawn, so they should start bleading first, then bleeding with a broken leg and so on. We could also rename the respawn-button to "are you playing as I command you to yet"-Button Because Im pretty sure there is NOONE who is palying this for the simulationist aspect of the game and the open playstyle. Sorry if this came of strong, but this topic is tickling my Dictatorship-Nerve. Also Im pretty sure the no-weapons idea comes from the realism camp, so this is like turning it exactly on its head.
