    I`m tempted to start a live stream just to talk about Dayz SA development since 2014 in an attempt to gather some old Dayz SA players since we have such an old community here since 2012 - when some of us had fun in that Arma 2 dayz mod! :) I won`t live stream the game though until I`ve a new hardware, gpu - a quality live stream is important for me personally hence why I`ve not been streaming the past months since closed beta of Player Unknown`s Battlegrounds. `grin`

    So they will wait with the new animations until the beta release @Baty Alquawen - it makes sense though. ' It`s a rumor that Summit1g a popular twitch streamer will play Dayz SA this evening - he is kind of tired of Battlegrounds recently. He actually mention this game in his last night stream, but not sure if that is ultimately his plan this evening though.

    - What many would love to see including myself is an improved armor value system on items similar to player Unknown`s battlegrounds with item duration, weapon sway overhaul, breathing mechanic sounds let it go - kind of tired of it. Melee damage system overhaul, weapon damage overhaul related to clothing and helmets. Sporter & Trumpet sound changes it should be lower sounds. Breahing sound mechanic kind of counter the whole idea with ghillie suits - I heard him breathing miles away even before I spotted him with a full ghillie suit last week. - Pistol silencer should be a lower sound too. And that 1 bullet can ruin your whole back pack need to go in beta and be better balance. I`m also looking forward to base building which is exciting, Helis as new vechile, and finally improved dynamic crash sites so u can actually see helis for a while until they crash land! We need better FPS too, especially if they have plans to release it on x-box or ps4, but that is not that important compare to other features I mentioned above! And with a medium to high end pc u should have a good fps now in Dayz SA - at least outside the major cities. About improved dynamic events like crash sites I don`t mind if zombies are guarding it - I think it`s necessary so it get more of a challenge. And it might be easier to spot other players or hear them nearby which is exciting since we have dense forests now in 0.62, and it might be harder to spot other players! :) - Finally, I still beleive the Dayz SA experience is best with 75/75 servers or even higher numbers on this map to get decent amount of action!

    @Baty Alquawen Close the 0.61 experimental topic - test servers are offline and they are probably done with 0.61 exp. :) The most glaring issues on experimental in the past is usually posted here public though on this forum. Great news though and thanks for the update - not many days now guys, chill out and play some stable in the meanwhile! ;)

    Yes, and that`s why Trump is going to build the Wall near the Mexican border - they all obviously migrated to this particular forum. lol .. Why mention watchdogs & no mans sky, it had nothing to do with alpha stage of any games out there, and Ubisoft is Ubisoft. Experimental is exactly that not a stable version of the game, but if they think the door issues is game breaking I guess we wait, but I really doubt that and I agree with @Noctoras

    Not a bad idea and concerning your background story maybe u started with a shotgun, and as a farmer u get chased out of your barn by your wife who was infected by zombies - as long the Rng is related to basic gear. :)

    It`s not a good time to be upset about the game, m8. In weekly basis I felt the exact same frustration - and when Rangers lost to Ottawa in playoffs hockey - it was even worse about two weeks ago. In 2014 it was launched years too early even Frankieonpc1080 mention that not much content to show about Dayz SA. However with new visual, animations, sounds is a great update for 0.62 including map changes. It will be fun to see experimental branch servers full again for the last time until we all hit beta stage! ))

    A global kill msg. can also be exploited somewhat in Dayz SA - and it`s much better with personal stats like how how many hours u have survived including accuracy stats with different weapons.

    yeah why not and a battery can be gold though - u can decide to use it in a scope instead! I`m excited - I`ve notion this 0.62 is out any day even perhaps this evening! ;) Can any confirm if Heli is plan to be in 0.62 or pushed to 0.63 beta?

    An interesting update - I`ve one question though are Helichopters with parts planed for 0.62, or in the beta version of 0.63? It has been a while since I read anything about it, and I don`t remember exact details at the moment without a research! :)
  20. Yes, player behavior will change with new game content and the total amount of players on a server. And when we get used to see other players due to higher traffic let`s say 100/100 servers, and it become less tempting to fire a bullet, because now u barely see anyone with 60/60 servers (so to get some action you often use the weapon due to very limit to no interaction with other players.) If you see a group of (2-3) players it start to get risky as well on 100/100 servers, but it all depends where u are on the map. My brief point more interaction never hurt this game and when we get used to see other players you will not use the weapon all the time which is logic reasoning and it might be strategic reasons as well. And those who enjoy less crowded servers - you will always find low population servers in dayz SA. I was looting up the airport and it was empty with players when 0.61 just came out when they tested and the servers were always full on experimental branch - they tested 75/75 for a brief of time and I looted up NW Airfield it was completely empty with players. but due to performance issue they lower it down to 60/60. So sometimes u need patience to spot other players, and the NW Airfield get more crowded with higher populated servers, but I usually enjoy a good challenge. It`s fun to shadow another player or see what he/she is up to even though it can be risky, because when it sometimes take too long time to hear or see anyone it get boring as well, but that`s my view and experience though with the current server setting 60/60. Another point even with 100/100 server you will not get instant PvP action like Battlegrounds or BF1, this map is huge and it`s hard to spot others, and it will get even harder due to dense forest when they are going to implement it in beta version of Dayz SA. So you always get a mixture of survivial, exploring, and interaction - so I am looking forward to new content of this game and excited for news and updates about the game! ))

    Personally, I don`t mind it - I guess it is suppose to be a struggle to survive the apocalypse. I was playing on an empty server UK 5 experimental so I doubt anyone have picked it up. Food just drop rarely in consider the amount of civil buildings & cars you need to loot before you find something. But I am not too certain what the general opinion is about that topic since I usually watch steam stats and keep track and the amount of players and interest for the game. I`ve always had the impression since I played this game on day 1 in January 2014 - it was released two years too early. But the game is both fun and exciting - it just lack content and things to do in this game, and I`m curious if we are closer for a new update to the experimental branch. In the old arma 2 dayz mod. you had things to do like going to Berezino industrial area to gather resources to start building your base and secure your precious loot - even though it was a simple crafting system. I hope they add Base building soon it creates a lot more traffic all around the map and that is healthy when you`re a new dayz player trying out for the first time and actually see other players near the coast and that is a fun experience.
  22. It`s an interesting topic and since the Frankieonpc1080p days of Dayz SA is over for like 5 years ago in that dayz SA arma 2 version - interaction is very important in this game. So a headset is a must for new dayz SA players, but you can also type and write to all nearby with (-) key button. You will always find KOS players in this setting, but I`ve notice the exact same issue, because no one stay at the coast anymore - they go north and west to good weapon spawn locations and military. The topic is interesting however, because it brings up an important topic related to communication not between the dayz dev. team, but among the players in this game, and it`s essential related to success in this type of survival game. Maybe it should be more obvious for new players how to communicate if they are not using a headset and not holding down (capslock) while trying to get new friends in-game - or trust new players which can be hard in this game, but it`s fun nonetheless. KoS is the easiest way @Mantasisg, because you don`t need to trust a new player who could shoot you in the back anytime in this game or hit you with an axe, and that`s where the issue starts in this game - most are doing it (KOS), because it`s a lot more difficult and more risk to communicate with total strangers in this game. The main problem right now with 0.61 patch, and how this game is played is lack of game content and players near the coast to interact with and things to do in this game - you need Base building and you need at least 100 players on this map to create interesting player encounters, because a player base could be near the coast which create a lot more traffic all around the map, and just not focused around military barracks and spawn locations as it`s right now in Dayz SA 0.61. I hope they look into it in future dayz SA patches/content and add base building - it will get a lot more interest in this type of game the moment they announce it.))

    (near Cherno.) An early morning a brief experimental session - I would like to talk about loot though. I still think the loot table balance is way off, because it`s a struggle to find anything especially food which is so important in the beginning of this game near the coast, and for new players in Dayz SA - to pick apples is not a fun method to sustain yourself since food rarely spawn unless you go through every building in Cherno for instant which is time consuming. And most players just don`t do that, because the good loot is west and north from Cherno. My point is let it be hard to find ammo and weapons, but food and basics like clothing should have a better or higher % chance to drop in civil buildings, @Hicks_206 (DayZ). I`m also curious after soon 5 months (soon May) after christmas in 2017 - any eta about the new 0.62 content on experimental branch servers?

    Weapon sway

    I can`t hold the weapon still even when I crouch on the ground holding my breath - I still have breathing sway on my weapon which is beyond normal or real life breathing mechanic when u aim at a target at 200 meters away. I know this, because I've been doing competitive shooting for over ten years time in real life, and the current weapon movements when u lay still on the ground in dayz doesn`t reflect that at all, and the dev. team should look into it related to breathing mechanic.
