Woah, really? :) I prefer the blaze or winchester too, but my Carbine is usually accurate at 700 + meters at least - do u use hold breath by the way? The natural weapon sway could be the different on a hit or miss shot at long range though. ))

I thought it was the carbine weapon, lol. It looks almost the same. I guess u can equip a long range scope on it. :)

It`s an interesting question @Hicks_206 (DayZ). Personally, I think most have different opinions on weapons in general in Dayz SA, and CR 550, or Carbin in that regard is a powerful backup sniper weapon for me who can hit zombies at over 800 + meter range with great accuracy and u can paint it with cammo colour which also help compare to Winchester bolt rifle which is my main sniper rifle at the moment. I know SVD and VSS are modern military sniper rifles, but both are limited to relative short to medium range with their current scope setting. If the dev. team want a military weapon to be deadly about the same long range as the CR 550 Carbine - you need a completely new tech military scopes for long range purpose in the Dayz SA which I hope, because both Carbine and Winchester rifles are really old weapons compare to modern military sniper rifles with new scopes for 1000 + meter range combat. I hope the dev. team will add a new military long range scope in the future which can be used on modern military snipe rifles like SVD and VSS! :) A brief experimental update not on topic, but maybe a bug: The exp. servers seems more stable now with the last update well done, no crashes for me, except some memory crash bugs when I exit a server after a brief play session! The minor bug is the chest holster which doesn`t fit a glock with a weapon flashlight - I don`t know where to report this since experimental topic was closed. (And I`m not sure if this is intended or not.)

A raincoat or gorka military jacket - I didn`t even get wet in full rain weather condition with those equiped - so to save 2 spot in your inventory for a rain coat is worth it. :)

I`ve not found any military ammo or weapons in those tents near the coas on 0.61 exp. patch, except far west of Kamenka camp, but no one spawn so far west so it`s an non issue. I also think they removed the Balota spawn which was too far west where the high end loot and crash sites are located. And the overall loot table of Balota Airfield is scarce - I seldom find anything there. In those early Dayz SA days u are talking about had military weapon loot table in fire stations, and it was before the major map changes. The only true sniper hill location is above Balota Airfield, but the coastal fog, and no high end loot in cities is not worth your time sniping guys with basic civil building items. And we also need to remember that base building is an end game content which create a different type of playstyles, and player behaviours will be much different when helis and cars are back on the map. It will be fast pace NW Airfield action - (3-5) min. with Heli - 10 min with a car from Cherno instead of (20-25 min run on foot) from the coast. I mean what else to do in this game while it lack content without base building, helis, cars - it`s a pvp survivial. My point is when helicopter parts, car parts, Berenzino will be busy again for sure - when fully gear military players looking for the engine and fuel to their chopter. So the coast will be busy again, right now all the pvp at the coast rumour is less and less to be honest, because new players follow the loot for sure which is good for the world map activity. And the north had some love with new tents, which means guys won`t sucide when they get a far north spawn, because it`s high end military loot right to NW Airfield or farther north route. Yes, but not sure how long - I think the corpse is gone after (5-10 min.) In my opinion corpses should have similar timer as a backpack, but I guess it`s part of the server performance tweaking on persistence items. That`s the main reason guys remove items from a corpse if there are two or more people playing.

I will play some hours now this lovely monrning and test some more stuff - I hope the paint a weapon bug is fixed, @Hicks_206 (DayZ)? An earlier version of 0.61 build you empty the weapon for bullets and they magically vanished after u have spray painted it. So it was some issues with spray paint a weapon like the SKS for sure. Loot Table update on the current version: I usually find x-bows in deer stance as a weapon or a wood axe. (The piles of SKS is fixed in deer stances, well done.) I can`t find any type of civil rifles or shotguns in barns at the moment. Green Guardhouses still have police station loot table with Glocks and CR75, MP5, PM73 RAK, CZ61 Scorpion. I find more food now compare to earlier versions. Barns seldom have any loot except food and cloth - I miss the old days when u could find a shotgun or old mosin 9130 at barns. Military tents usually drop clothing and boots most common items. The ammo and weapon attachments drop for most weapons is about the same as earlier versions which is good.

Mr Moon mentioned this building as well in his last Dayz SA live stream - so it`s not a new topic at all, and when live streamers focus on other games instead - it only generate less interest and income. Anyway I think we`re done debating this topic, a mod. can lock it for sure. ( I don`t mind.)

NW Airfield workout, full server! :) I heard shots at the tents at NW, but who cares when you have a hoard of zombie friends and a fucking flashlight! :) After I ran in circles for like 10 minutes middle of the open near the Air control Tower - no one took a shot at me I figure out to turn off the flashlight and vanish in the woods still alive near the Airfield!

Not sure about the snap/crack is great without confusing the whole sound picture. Why not a simple hit sound you can hear when you get hit by a weapon similar to H1z1? (It will resolve the issue and hear when a bullet hit you even if the weapon use a silencer on it, and that is most important. Because if the crack/snap is louder than the sound from the weapon who fired the bullet - it will confuse the whole sound picture and you`ve no idea where the person is located who fired the weapon.) Ok, just tested it with a B95 without silencer - the snap/crack sound is not too loud so it might work need to test out more.

Fine, how many do you think read the forum who play this game 30% of the total player base, @Hicks_206 (DayZ)? In theory you can be shot in the back from the second floor of that particular cammo building looting tents at NW Airfield. You need to watch out on that particular building when you loot and go into a military barrack south of Vybor, or looting military barracks at Zelenogorsk. Balota Airfield main entrance for instant.. My point is you always need to pay attention to the building since the door is not locked or sealed, because of 2nd floor snipers who may shot at you. I just not agree how the policy about it to wait this long until new player controller is implemented and just remove loot in the meanwhile. The building should be locked or sealed with a door until it`s open with loot with new player controller. As I mentioned earlier if it`s part of the map, and players will always interact with the building to exploit the wall, or to snipe from the 2nd floor due building strategic position on the map. I don`t understand why this is hard to grasp while other major parts of the map has been changed like Cherno, Elektro, adding new cities, military locations, improved overall the map which is great, but somewhat ignored that particular building to just remove loot is not good enough in my opinion. I would certainly remove that building until the player controller is implemented and somehow fix that exploit, and fix the item dupe issues in the past with that building. Finally, I really enjoy Dayz SA, but I`ve a different opinion about that topic - otherwise the dev. team doing an excellent job, and I`m looking forward to beta now.

The main issue is that there are many so players who still use the building from the 2nd floor, or run nearby it due to the building position on the map. So it`s easy to say don`t go into the building, because it`s part of the map as long the building exist unfortunately, and wall glitcher will exploit it and have doing so the last 3 years of Dayz SA.

Their plan was to get the vechiles back in 0.61 before it hit stable - since u can still find vechile parts for it, but no helis yet. Otherwise they can remove vechiles parts & wheels as well until they are back in my opinion.

I`ve no issue with food - I usually hunt deers - roast steaks, sometimes fish, and doing survivial related content in my play sessions. But I`ve most fun when I use an oil barrel for a base somewhere on the map - now a bit north of Cherno, and try to be around in the area and interact with other players. Cherno

Yeah I get bored after 5 minutes of playing Miscreated. My view and opinion is more about the overall current status of the game of Dayz SA and how the game might be for new players who just bought Dayz SA - it`s really hard if they get wet or don`t know the map, or know how the loot is distributed at the moment. I`ve almost 2k hours in Dayz SA - so I`m happy, but base building is my main focus for this game and that`s why I hope we have 0.61 on stable soon - so the dev. team can focus on the beta progression. I really enjoy this patch for sure, but I am aware it`s hard for new players.

I know, he did it, because he doesn`t enjoy the current loot table distribution system. Moon is an experienced dayz player and he knows the map, but some players like him refuse to go north to the airfield sometimes, because he enjoy the coast journey and the interaction with other players who just spawned in the game. But it`s not a great loot system for such players, because most buildings are empty related to food.

I usually avoid looting cities at the coast in this 0.61 patch, because I know most buildings are empty - and just waste of time. You save a lot of time to just run to the center of the map, but still not sure what the Dayz dev team trying to accomplish with this loot table system? Central loot economy like why have loot piles at the center? And most players are happy when they decide where to travel, and less about to follow the loot pattern in my opinion. When the base building is implemented you will have players all over the map due bases and central loot system won`t be that effective with vechiles and helis, because it`s less about a death match at NW Airfield. My point is with base building players usually have a plan and purpose where to visit next to perhaps repair a car, find heli parts at Berezino at the coast for instant. However players will still visit military locations searching for UMP, SVD, and M4 for their base or ammo for military weapons, but it`s not a new player friendly survivial game at the moment. I`ve played dayz arma II mod. since Frankieonpc1080nd put out youtube vids about it and when Lirik played it on twitch or summit1g. I had have no issues to find military weapons in Elektro or Cherno when it was out, because you need to usually go north to find ammo anyway - so I`m happy that the dayz dev. team have plans to relocate the tents at NW Airfield, and get the loot more spread out over the map even east side.

MrMoon starved to death again near the coast - almost no food. :) It should be easier for survivors to find something to eat near the coast - if they refuse to go north or are new to the game. The map is huge so most new players have sometimes no clue where to go and get easy lost or run around in circles near the hills, and many new players stay near the coast which is easier to navigate, not all know about the dayz SA map.

I sometimes spiked at (6-8) fps and it lag the whole pc on a full server, but I`ve no idea why (it was middle of the forest too which is usually higher fps compare to cities like Cherno or Elektro.) I changed my setting after the crash though and disabled edge smooting + shadows and turned off Auto option on video memory and sat it to max instead 2048 mb - maybe it help, but I need to test it out for a longer run tomorrow. I`ve a notion that Auto memory option doesn`t work properly on video setting and it crash the game for me on my pc hardware.

Minor sound bug update: Scorpion with suppressor east sound exactly the same as without a suppressor on the same weapon when u fire. (I didn`t had time to test it with zombies if it aggro or not with a suppressor east on it.) I`ve not tested suppressor east on other weapons like AK-74, AKS-74U, AK101, AKM,

I heard far off distant weapon shoots again after this patch - so the weapon sounds is working as intended now, well done!

Try to log out @Kopo79 - the health system usually work when u restart the dayz SA client, but I had the same issue recently too health bars doesn`t show sometimes.

I had low fps spike with the recent patches - I had to restart the game session. The server didn`t crash, but my pc did and I was not even in a city. My average fps is about 120+ in-game with 32 GB memory + Geforce Asus GTX 780 GPU - shadows turn off, setting is like very high to high with V-Sync disabled. (And both windows 10 ultimate + gpu driver updated recently.) I notice these random low fps spike which suddenly go below (6-8) fps - my pc crashed about 30 min. ago. (The game and pc works fine after restart, but my point is the low /random fps spike lag the whole screen.) Is the video memory working properly on Auto Video option setting? I had memory crashes recently - so I changed it now to max instead of Auto to 2048 MB. I changed my Video setting and disabled Edge smoothing as well and will go with it - maybe my pc will be more stable.
