I had a perfect shot (250-300 meters) with a blaze is usually R.I.P, but I didn`t bother to ruin their fun. :)

Are oil barrels no longer persistent on stable ?

yes, my barrel was gone too, but I`m on the blue waffle priv. server and I probably stored it on the wrong server which also wiped persistence items like barrels & tents. I`ve not yet died on the blue waffle server pm if u want full gear, because I`m going back to experimental when 0.59 patch is live! :D -

Yes, change the zombie (AI and spawn) if it's too obvious that players are nearby - it's suppose to be a horde of them and that's usually the main reason to go north. Because without weapons it should be dangerous to be near the larger cities due to zombies. -
There are 75 players servers on 58 exp. branch now - no infected though. And the map still feels empty. :)

About server performance topic though; isn't that part of hardware as well?

I enjoy the Esseker map to be honest even though it's not finished.

Well, not just weapons, but items u hold in hands and interact with other objects on the map like doors, water pumps, V35 etc. I think I've lost 3 weapons with scopes so far in this patch - just vanished. And if you saw off your mosin for example which take 5 inventory slots and wield it. and put another item like a compass for example on that slot in your backpack when you put your mosin back in your inventory again - it drops to the ground instead, because of the compass.

long range scope was removed from the loot table - SVD is the new sniper rifle now (modern rifle.)

I lag like crazy and I've almost all graphic options turn off - and using the same setting as Frankieonpc. It's def. memory leak issues in larger cities at the moment.

It's not very solid structure in dayz, it's the same old.. So yes zombies sometimes go through walls and door structures. I saw off my mosin inside a deer stand it went through the floor and lucky I found it below on the ground.

Yes, it's not random heli crash sites, unfortunately - players farm them at server resets. -

Rabbit snare working properly now? ..I tested the trap, but the servers went down unfortunately.

yeah, I've used real weapons - fireball is very realistic on full and semi automatic guns.
