1k damage pr wolf hit is an end game fantasy land with end game bosses in an massive multiplayer game like Crowfall - it should had nothing to do with Dayz SA, and it`s wrong genre. @Hicks_206 (DayZ) and the dev. team changed the wolves due to some complaints on the general forum that the wolves were harmless which I don`t agree with at all. When wolves were implemented I always lost about 2-3k blood everytime until I ran into a town to take cover behind locked doors since they run faster than you. In an earlier exp. version they hit harder compare to a zombie, but they had no bleed damage, but now they have bleed damage and they damage per attack is not balance at all. I agree with bleed damage, but it should be much less damage per successful hit. You need to balance wolf as a pack - since you never encounter 1 single wolf it seems, or will the number be /random amount of wolves in the future as well?

Yes maybe @sneakydude, I thought it was a fire fight near Zelenogorsk, but I only heard 1 type of weapon - so I figure out that someone shot at zombies. :)

I don`t remember exact server, but I played on a US server. I found a crash site just north of radio tower, and heard couple of shots, but it`s hard to spot me now with no backpack with a blaze, and winchester ammo which I found in the crash site (US). @Hicks_206 (DayZ) I really enjoy that some zombies don`t stop chasing you - I hope that will be a thing in dayz SA.

I really enjoy the zombie AI now - I had a couple who chased me all over the map. So I had to put him down witth my blaze! In fact I heard gun shots all over the green mountains, lol. ;)

Will you guys push a weather/clouds graphic upgrade to experimental in the status report earlier or wait until beta? And I hope to see some increase range on the x-bow and bow - so the bolt & arrows don`t drop at 40 meters. So the crafted weapons can compete with other short range weapons like the sporter. Any plans to increase range on the x-bow for the fun part of it, because 40-50 meters is so useless in dayz SA on this map scale. I will hunt some animals and cook some meat to test it out this evening.

I`m guarding military loots so no bandits can get grade A military equipment, but I admit there are always some who go unnoticed. ^

Alright tested scope on the Sporter - it was accurate with 100 meters defeault, but if u increase range on the long range scope towards 200 or 300 meters, you hit way above your target. So with other words the long range scope on a sporter is not accurate above 100 meters. And it`s still too loud - it should have a similar sound like the 0.22 pistol Amphibia S

Is still too low - I`ve sometimes 35 fps on a high end pc in cities.

So wind condition is too advanced at the moment related to bullet travel time and realism with our current pc hardware? They simulate wind condition in sports in some golf games, but if Bohemia implement wind then we need some tool to figure out direction of the wind etc. It will certainly increase difficulty to hit anything over 400 meters in a blizzard storm for instant if Dayz SA have plans to use different environments like snow later in the beta. :)

Yes, I`m positive that they will try to push new content on the experimental branch when it`s ready concerning the beta 0.62 patch. But I`m not sure if we`ve any eta yet about graphic improvements sky (clouds), dense forest - I guess it all depends when 0.61 hit stable, but I won`t speculate a date for beta release.

I saw some wolves killed some zombies, but it was on an earlier exp. build. I will hunt some wolves this evening and test it out for sure.

Yes we are aware of that, but increase lethal fall damage and it`s a non issue until new player controler is ready. I read status reports indeed.

Yes, well, I am fine with the infected increase count, @Hicks_206 (DayZ) but don`t release it on stable when your zombies push you through the wall section in the 2nd. floor and u die due to fall damage. And only in Dayz SA u will certainly die if u fall more than 3 meters height since we were talking about what is realism or not in connection with wolves health and weapon sway. At least increase fall damage to 5 meters so you don`t die from the 2nd. floor in a building by a zombie.

The damage now is too high at the moment - lost 4k blood in couple of wolf hits and died too, and they have much more health compare to a zombie. Wolves should have similar health to a zombie, because it`s much harder to hit due to speed, and they are usually in a pack. It should be a diversion with wolves - if u keep dieing against wolves, because they can track you miles away it`s not a good game mechanic. Just like small % chance to find stones or apples, or walking uphill for instant. It feels clunky at best. Also about water wells - it should be enough to drink couple of times.

It probably helps the server performance to lower the range of player detection concerning the zombie AI behaviour. There are some players who run nearby a town, but have no plans to get loot, and the zombie spawn in for no reasons. I feel the amount of Zombies is still much better compare to any versions of dayz - so it`s a huge improvement concerning the total amount of zombies on the map.

Well do not take suicide due to north spawn guys - and me after 5 minutes of experimental my character! :)

yeah it happen to me as well this morning about heli crash site - not sure if it`s intended or not, but it seems like crash sites is on a timer or something before it vanish.

And don`t use chemlights - the yellow one crashed the dayz client for me due to low frames.

I had a memory leak crash again with 64 bit - so it`s not the client, but something else in Dayz SA. It probably run best on windows with 64 bit versions enabled, but I`ve had no issue with the new 64 bit client so far on windows 10. Will the thunder and lightning issue be fixed with no clouds in 0.61, or in beta patch?

64 bit dayz client was smooth on my 64 bit Windows 10 ultra version - I had no memory leak crashes recently with the last build. I hope that the 64 bit version client have plans to stay. Experimental servers down for maintaince or a patch update this morning?

@Rick. I understand that, and most streamers usually KOS, but if u look at FrankieonPC1080 youtube videos. He is sometimes banditry as well, but he usually give another player a chance to survive, which is Dayz all about in this game "survivial theme". And most players should not play this game as a live twitch streamer. because it`s similar play style as Battle Royale games - kill or be killed kind of mentality. But these live streamers get new players into the game, and that is important for the company so they can finish the game Dayz SA with base building and other end game contents after the beta stage. And that`s why I sometimes mention so few thinks about their position when they fire their weapon - instead thinking if I saved my bullet he/she will certainly not aware of me and I will survive another day. When we can start to build our bases; survivial is more important - you dont like to risk lose your heli due to a firefight at the airfield if u can easily escpae a dangerous situation for instant and fly to another military campsite and get similar loot. If If I see a guy in a sniper position, of course, I will take him out - otherwise he will be a danger for another player who are nearby who might not be that hostile, and such mentality and change your playstyle is also a good challenge, because interaction with another player or held him/her is risky, but part of end game in dayz if u have control over the situation. If I play solo and see 3 guys playing together - u can`t held three guys, so it`s better to remain unseen if u can.

@Zod if we like it or not streamers like Lirik is important to generate new interest to Dayz SA - there are so many who have died near that building due to the wall exploit, or based on the important building position on the map in Dayz SA. It`s one of the most strategic buildings on the Airfield - similar to the ATC (Airfield control tower) at NW. And your view range is greater even though you`re exposed, but you can see guys hidings in trees on the opposite side of the airfield, and great view over most crash sites at the Airfield from the 2nd floor in that building including tents.

I really hope so @gekker - I`m looking forward to that for sure (new weapon attachment + weapon to the end game content is great in my opinion an unique to the game.) What we don`t need is another DMR type of weapon like in the old dayz Arma II mod. - it`s too powerful with little to no recoil and semi automatic.

Yes, we need a long range military scope - all modern weapon in this game is limited to short and medium range only. I feel like an old farmer Joe from World war 1 sniping the NW Airfield sometimes with a wnchester or blaze, lol. :) It`s an own kind of charm with old civil weapons, but it would be great with a modern weapon long range scope upgrade in the future for military sniper rifles.
