Fine, how many do you think read the forum who play this game 30% of the total player base, @Hicks_206 (DayZ)? In theory you can be shot in the back from the second floor of that particular cammo building looting tents at NW Airfield. You need to watch out on that particular building when you loot and go into a military barrack south of Vybor, or looting military barracks at Zelenogorsk. Balota Airfield main entrance for instant.. My point is you always need to pay attention to the building since the door is not locked or sealed, because of 2nd floor snipers who may shot at you. I just not agree how the policy about it to wait this long until new player controller is implemented and just remove loot in the meanwhile. The building should be locked or sealed with a door until it`s open with loot with new player controller. As I mentioned earlier if it`s part of the map, and players will always interact with the building to exploit the wall, or to snipe from the 2nd floor due building strategic position on the map. I don`t understand why this is hard to grasp while other major parts of the map has been changed like Cherno, Elektro, adding new cities, military locations, improved overall the map which is great, but somewhat ignored that particular building to just remove loot is not good enough in my opinion. I would certainly remove that building until the player controller is implemented and somehow fix that exploit, and fix the item dupe issues in the past with that building. Finally, I really enjoy Dayz SA, but I`ve a different opinion about that topic - otherwise the dev. team doing an excellent job, and I`m looking forward to beta now.

The main issue is that there are many so players who still use the building from the 2nd floor, or run nearby it due to the building position on the map. So it`s easy to say don`t go into the building, because it`s part of the map as long the building exist unfortunately, and wall glitcher will exploit it and have doing so the last 3 years of Dayz SA.

The dense forest looks amazing! :) And with base building if it`s possible to fortify - I hope @Hicks_206 (DayZ) you guys consider to implement some c4 explosives in beta instead of anti-tank items which is not even necessary in a Dayz SA in my opinion. :)

I agree that weapon/zombie damage should be adjusted on items - right now one hit from a zombie can break your weapon - it happen to me earlier some days ago - it went from prestine to badly damage, but I had a weapon cleaner.

I didn`t had the time to read his whole post, but I notice the first couple of sentences. Persistence killed it for you, lol not sure if serious... The whole idea about the Dayz experience is to build base and store your stuff in locked containers like chests and survive and you should board zombies out, or raid another base for hostile neigbours for loot and take away their grade A military equipment in case the kids hurt themself or others in-game. The fact is dayz when it was out was almost completely broken and borderline playable consider the low FPS issues, items vanished completely when you dropped something on the ground to bandage yourself. Well it was not much to show at the beginning, because the game lack contents like end game base building! So most end up in cities for death match experience, or dig out snipers at the NW Airfield sure. I`m not sure if you serious or not with that comment, but the younger generation of players should be patience, and wait until the game is finished. Because we`re not even in beta at the moment, and 0.61 servers are offline.

It took days to gather all these items on public while I wait on the new experimental patch.. No bag, because of ghillie bushrag + gun wrap - two scorpion magz, silent glock with mags - B95 + scope, almos ready for all kinds of sitations to snipe, or assault! cu soon on 0.61 experimental branch. :)

It looks great - that`s the main reason why I bought dayz - BASE BUILDING in a sandbox game - zombie survival, and Frankieonpc1080 enjoy it too so my taste is up to a good standard. ;) You need to board the zombies out - it should be a horde of them roaming the streets, and less about player vs player even though players are a lot more smarter than zombie AI, but most understand my reasoning. Zombies need to be a good threat - they should react instantly to sounds or weapon sounds, and dev. team doing a good job of that. )) -
The plane looks really difficult to fly properly due to wheels - I`m more fan of old WW II war planes like Supermarine Spitfire. :) About Dayz I hope the dev. team add more military loot at NE Airfield so people don`t sucide when they start north of the map. I`m not fan of the end game items located mostly at the west side of the map - Berezino & Krasnostav need some love to get the map more interesting. Because when chopters or airplane will be used in Dayz - it`s a lot faster to travel to object A-B C-E - I don`t enjoy when popular dayz streamers just sucide north or far east of the map - it just follow a bad pattern and player base behaviours and they will use similar approach which result that the map far east and north is completely empty of players, and I dont like that.

I think many miss base building like Frankieonpc1080 who want to build a base and roleplay and create a tube video about it. I dont understand how his first dayz video hit 5 mil views - it`s thoroughly bad and boring game play. Base building will get the population more spread out over the map for sure with chopters - and players wont travel to the usual destination A,B, and D. NW Airfield, Stairy, Cherno for coast pvp. I also hope the dev. team look into the coast fog - I think it`s too dense at the moment, because u can`t really snipe from Skyrim towards Cherno farms, or Elektro side. My point is earlier when first dayz came out - you need to be worried about certain location on the map due to sniper hill near Bellota, and such places need to exist to create an exciting atmosphere and be aware of such locations. Now you can just take the road below it and don`t worry about a sniper top of the mountain at all, which is the opposite effect you want for your dayz game just to protect newspawns on the coast. Hicks pls. consider that create the fog less dense so it doesn`t ruin strategic locations on the map. -

Yeah, I would not worry about it too much - if u ran out of luck you can die by a pistol that hit you in the arm 9 mm, or magnum. -
1st person perspective only (Message to devs)

Another thing is sounds are more intense in 1st person compare to 3rd person - it might scare people off to play 1st person. People are used to 3rd person from other games, but I wish Dayz team lower the sounds of breathing & walking - we don`t breath that loud when we exercise. -

A Few Thoughts On.. (Loot Economy, Protecting the Vanilla Experience, etc..)

- Heli events need changes, Brian Hicks - you can loot an empty official Dayz server and be be geared up in minutes with rare weapons now if u have a balota or far west spawns. I suggest to add additional heli events locations all over the map (inland, north, center east, and small islands.) Because most heli crash sites are far west on the map which is strange in my opinion. And heli crashes need zombies to protect rare loot for new players without weapons and zombies need to be a threat, Hicks. Maybe u get ill if u get hit by a zombie like a % chance, or they hit you harder, because they are like no threat at the moment. My point is if someone gun down zombies near a heli crash site - it should be heard and competition for that loot in Dayz. Another view why heli events need to spread out all over the map - tents near Green mountains and NW Airfield, and Tisy are one of the few locations to get military equipment - that location far west or in the area doesn`t need heli crash sites for rare weapons spawns at all. And same with the city Zelenogorsk - the only city on the map almost with military baracks and end game gear - also located near Green Mountain with most crash sites. My point is we don`t need all the players located far west on the map. Because now the map far east-north feels completely empty since the suicide glitch. No one enjoy berenzino spawn or far north, because of no heli crash sites or military equipment nearby. The amount of heli crash sites are fine so I don`t like to increase rare weapon spawns, but it should be possible to find a heli crash site all over the map which is my point. -
The server quality is a major part of server performance even though experimental servers have noticeable lag pockets with desync issues in 0.60, but a lot better compare to 0.59 stable patch. My experience that private hives performance are usually better compare to public server hives. It helped a lot when the new renderer for pc used their GPU more compare to their overall cpu usage in 0.60 - which is why we`ve a major FPS performance bost compare to 0.59 stable branch patch. Lastly I hope we have at least 60 player instances minimum on this map, because it feels empty with 50/50, unforutnately.

Brian Hicks it`s almost impossible to find netting on a private server, because u can`t just server jump until u find a boat with netting, and that is a poor game mechanic to be an end game item. And most experienced Dayzèrs know that netting and cammo is important to stay alive in most dangerous areas like the military bases. Also about the map locations of boats is a bad design, because all new spawns start at the coast - so it will eventually end up creating conflicts between an old geared up character searching for netting vs new with almost no equipment which can frustrate new players for sure. I hope the dev. team looks into it in future 0.60 updates to change both locations in-land and netting should be more common item.

Yes, it`s part of an 'end-game' resource in crafting how to survive, lol.. I am not certain, but here we go.. This is actually a discussion forum within suggestion topic that current netting design might be ignored by 95% of the total playerbase including live streamers due to fact it`s not worth anyone time to search for it. How it`s implemented is really hilarious in my opinion - so it was worth a thread about it..

It took me 2 hours to find 1 netting with switching servers on public to get that picture here with a weapon wrap on public. I know where the boats spawns or despawn on the map after 0.59 experiemental testing, and playing this game since it was out some years ago. And it`s faster to switch to an empty server and the boats are not looted u know compare to private full 50/50 servers like blue waffle for instance. It`s the same wiith heli crash sites on empty servers compare to full servers which more likely that the heli/boat is already looted, but is`t a good game mechanic? No, it`s not which is my point, and it`s almost the opposite - poor end game design.. And I don`t mind to open the netting access to more players - so all can enjoy and have some fun with netting.

Well, there are some guys who are duping, haxing, and glitching in this game which is in the category of cheating/exploiting.. And most players don`t travel the coast for (12-13) hours in search of netting. And server swithcing is not unsual on the public server hive, which is why I seldom play on the public servers. However, it`s easier to find netting on public branch which is why I compare and mention private hives vs public with server jumpers.

I really enjoyed this picture though so I will share it while we discuss netting in dayz Standalone, and my opinion is the same the item should be more common for all players. Facts about netting: For a full ghillie set + weapon wrap (woodland) you need like 7 netting + 14 burlap bags + Green spraypaint(s).

yeah true, but very few have (12-13) hours searching for netting with family and kids.. And for majority of players don`t have that much sparetime - so it`s an item which is almost impossible for them to achieve for an end game item. Netting also drop in random from (1-4) in quantity after the experimental branch testing of 0.59 - if u find 4 @Bludy then u was very lucky.

Pistol testing. It might be the zombie hit box - I had no issue to hit a tree at 100 meters with a glock. ))

I noticed something in this log video - the pistol is still very inaccurate after 30 meters. It feels like u shooting blanks - and I`ve tested it a little on 0.59 today. I notice the same issue - I can`t hit anything with my glock beyond (20-30) meters.

kitten milk protein & vitamin D cpu :) I`m using an Intel® i7-4820k CPU - I`ve considered to upgrade in near future.
