    A global kill msg. can also be exploited somewhat in Dayz SA - and it`s much better with personal stats like how how many hours u have survived including accuracy stats with different weapons.

    yeah why not and a battery can be gold though - u can decide to use it in a scope instead! I`m excited - I`ve notion this 0.62 is out any day even perhaps this evening! ;) Can any confirm if Heli is plan to be in 0.62 or pushed to 0.63 beta?

    An interesting update - I`ve one question though are Helichopters with parts planed for 0.62, or in the beta version of 0.63? It has been a while since I read anything about it, and I don`t remember exact details at the moment without a research! :)
  5. Yes, player behavior will change with new game content and the total amount of players on a server. And when we get used to see other players due to higher traffic let`s say 100/100 servers, and it become less tempting to fire a bullet, because now u barely see anyone with 60/60 servers (so to get some action you often use the weapon due to very limit to no interaction with other players.) If you see a group of (2-3) players it start to get risky as well on 100/100 servers, but it all depends where u are on the map. My brief point more interaction never hurt this game and when we get used to see other players you will not use the weapon all the time which is logic reasoning and it might be strategic reasons as well. And those who enjoy less crowded servers - you will always find low population servers in dayz SA. I was looting up the airport and it was empty with players when 0.61 just came out when they tested and the servers were always full on experimental branch - they tested 75/75 for a brief of time and I looted up NW Airfield it was completely empty with players. but due to performance issue they lower it down to 60/60. So sometimes u need patience to spot other players, and the NW Airfield get more crowded with higher populated servers, but I usually enjoy a good challenge. It`s fun to shadow another player or see what he/she is up to even though it can be risky, because when it sometimes take too long time to hear or see anyone it get boring as well, but that`s my view and experience though with the current server setting 60/60. Another point even with 100/100 server you will not get instant PvP action like Battlegrounds or BF1, this map is huge and it`s hard to spot others, and it will get even harder due to dense forest when they are going to implement it in beta version of Dayz SA. So you always get a mixture of survivial, exploring, and interaction - so I am looking forward to new content of this game and excited for news and updates about the game! ))
  6. It`s an interesting topic and since the Frankieonpc1080p days of Dayz SA is over for like 5 years ago in that dayz SA arma 2 version - interaction is very important in this game. So a headset is a must for new dayz SA players, but you can also type and write to all nearby with (-) key button. You will always find KOS players in this setting, but I`ve notice the exact same issue, because no one stay at the coast anymore - they go north and west to good weapon spawn locations and military. The topic is interesting however, because it brings up an important topic related to communication not between the dayz dev. team, but among the players in this game, and it`s essential related to success in this type of survival game. Maybe it should be more obvious for new players how to communicate if they are not using a headset and not holding down (capslock) while trying to get new friends in-game - or trust new players which can be hard in this game, but it`s fun nonetheless. KoS is the easiest way @Mantasisg, because you don`t need to trust a new player who could shoot you in the back anytime in this game or hit you with an axe, and that`s where the issue starts in this game - most are doing it (KOS), because it`s a lot more difficult and more risk to communicate with total strangers in this game. The main problem right now with 0.61 patch, and how this game is played is lack of game content and players near the coast to interact with and things to do in this game - you need Base building and you need at least 100 players on this map to create interesting player encounters, because a player base could be near the coast which create a lot more traffic all around the map, and just not focused around military barracks and spawn locations as it`s right now in Dayz SA 0.61. I hope they look into it in future dayz SA patches/content and add base building - it will get a lot more interest in this type of game the moment they announce it.))

    Weapon sway

    I can`t hold the weapon still even when I crouch on the ground holding my breath - I still have breathing sway on my weapon which is beyond normal or real life breathing mechanic when u aim at a target at 200 meters away. I know this, because I've been doing competitive shooting for over ten years time in real life, and the current weapon movements when u lay still on the ground in dayz doesn`t reflect that at all, and the dev. team should look into it related to breathing mechanic.

    I like something to conceal my eyes and skin better in this game, because it reveal your position from far distance - so why not military eye camoflauge face paint? :)

    Yes true @Kirov (DayZ), but players should be the main threat in this game and that`s my view on this topic. And you need to take a huge risk approaching wolves, or wolves sensing you too far away and start hunting you, because other players might be nearby who will hear your shots, or see u run inside a building to escaping a wolf encounter, or see you using a torch to scare the wolves away. And that will endanger the situation further - so wolves need to be reduced in numbers and balanced properly concerning their current bite damage.

    I`m about to post facts about wolves, but I won`t bother in this game, because it has nothing to do with reality at all. How often do you see a pack of wolves in the wilderness for instant? If you`re lucky you will see 1 here in Norway in your life time, because it`s so rare and a shy animal. But in dayz land it`s scripted to be always (6-8) wolves when you encounter them - keep that in mind as well when you balance wolves. :) And wolves are not agressive towards human at all and that is facts, but they are beautiful animals who live quiet in the forest. And see what you did here in dayz land. :)

    It`s fantasy land - they deal too much damage now and they have too much health/blood. When you think about it Zombies are harrmless in Dayz SA, and should be bufffed too with 1k damage per hit, and they should have 10k blood/health, @Hicks_206 (DayZ) - it should be adressed too you know.. Wolf damage was changed, but it`s far from balance compare to a player character total blood/health perspective.

    CR 550: Discussion

    So wind condition is too advanced at the moment related to bullet travel time and realism with our current pc hardware? They simulate wind condition in sports in some golf games, but if Bohemia implement wind then we need some tool to figure out direction of the wind etc. It will certainly increase difficulty to hit anything over 400 meters in a blizzard storm for instant if Dayz SA have plans to use different environments like snow later in the beta. :)

    Yes, I`m positive that they will try to push new content on the experimental branch when it`s ready concerning the beta 0.62 patch. But I`m not sure if we`ve any eta yet about graphic improvements sky (clouds), dense forest - I guess it all depends when 0.61 hit stable, but I won`t speculate a date for beta release.

    damage done by wolves

    The damage now is too high at the moment - lost 4k blood in couple of wolf hits and died too, and they have much more health compare to a zombie. Wolves should have similar health to a zombie, because it`s much harder to hit due to speed, and they are usually in a pack. It should be a diversion with wolves - if u keep dieing against wolves, because they can track you miles away it`s not a good game mechanic. Just like small % chance to find stones or apples, or walking uphill for instant. It feels clunky at best. Also about water wells - it should be enough to drink couple of times.

    @Rick. I understand that, and most streamers usually KOS, but if u look at FrankieonPC1080 youtube videos. He is sometimes banditry as well, but he usually give another player a chance to survive, which is Dayz all about in this game "survivial theme". And most players should not play this game as a live twitch streamer. because it`s similar play style as Battle Royale games - kill or be killed kind of mentality. But these live streamers get new players into the game, and that is important for the company so they can finish the game Dayz SA with base building and other end game contents after the beta stage. And that`s why I sometimes mention so few thinks about their position when they fire their weapon - instead thinking if I saved my bullet he/she will certainly not aware of me and I will survive another day. When we can start to build our bases; survivial is more important - you dont like to risk lose your heli due to a firefight at the airfield if u can easily escpae a dangerous situation for instant and fly to another military campsite and get similar loot. If If I see a guy in a sniper position, of course, I will take him out - otherwise he will be a danger for another player who are nearby who might not be that hostile, and such mentality and change your playstyle is also a good challenge, because interaction with another player or held him/her is risky, but part of end game in dayz if u have control over the situation. If I play solo and see 3 guys playing together - u can`t held three guys, so it`s better to remain unseen if u can.

    @Zod if we like it or not streamers like Lirik is important to generate new interest to Dayz SA - there are so many who have died near that building due to the wall exploit, or based on the important building position on the map in Dayz SA. It`s one of the most strategic buildings on the Airfield - similar to the ATC (Airfield control tower) at NW. And your view range is greater even though you`re exposed, but you can see guys hidings in trees on the opposite side of the airfield, and great view over most crash sites at the Airfield from the 2nd floor in that building including tents.

    I really hope so @gekker - I`m looking forward to that for sure (new weapon attachment + weapon to the end game content is great in my opinion an unique to the game.) What we don`t need is another DMR type of weapon like in the old dayz Arma II mod. - it`s too powerful with little to no recoil and semi automatic.

    Yes, we need a long range military scope - all modern weapon in this game is limited to short and medium range only. I feel like an old farmer Joe from World war 1 sniping the NW Airfield sometimes with a wnchester or blaze, lol. :) It`s an own kind of charm with old civil weapons, but it would be great with a modern weapon long range scope upgrade in the future for military sniper rifles.

    Woah, really? :) I prefer the blaze or winchester too, but my Carbine is usually accurate at 700 + meters at least - do u use hold breath by the way? The natural weapon sway could be the different on a hit or miss shot at long range though. ))

    It`s an interesting question @Hicks_206 (DayZ). Personally, I think most have different opinions on weapons in general in Dayz SA, and CR 550, or Carbin in that regard is a powerful backup sniper weapon for me who can hit zombies at over 800 + meter range with great accuracy and u can paint it with cammo colour which also help compare to Winchester bolt rifle which is my main sniper rifle at the moment. I know SVD and VSS are modern military sniper rifles, but both are limited to relative short to medium range with their current scope setting. If the dev. team want a military weapon to be deadly about the same long range as the CR 550 Carbine - you need a completely new tech military scopes for long range purpose in the Dayz SA which I hope, because both Carbine and Winchester rifles are really old weapons compare to modern military sniper rifles with new scopes for 1000 + meter range combat. I hope the dev. team will add a new military long range scope in the future which can be used on modern military snipe rifles like SVD and VSS! :) A brief experimental update not on topic, but maybe a bug: The exp. servers seems more stable now with the last update well done, no crashes for me, except some memory crash bugs when I exit a server after a brief play session! The minor bug is the chest holster which doesn`t fit a glock with a weapon flashlight - I don`t know where to report this since experimental topic was closed. (And I`m not sure if this is intended or not.)

    A raincoat or gorka military jacket - I didn`t even get wet in full rain weather condition with those equiped - so to save 2 spot in your inventory for a rain coat is worth it. :)
  24. I`ve not found any military ammo or weapons in those tents near the coas on 0.61 exp. patch, except far west of Kamenka camp, but no one spawn so far west so it`s an non issue. I also think they removed the Balota spawn which was too far west where the high end loot and crash sites are located. And the overall loot table of Balota Airfield is scarce - I seldom find anything there. In those early Dayz SA days u are talking about had military weapon loot table in fire stations, and it was before the major map changes. The only true sniper hill location is above Balota Airfield, but the coastal fog, and no high end loot in cities is not worth your time sniping guys with basic civil building items. And we also need to remember that base building is an end game content which create a different type of playstyles, and player behaviours will be much different when helis and cars are back on the map. It will be fast pace NW Airfield action - (3-5) min. with Heli - 10 min with a car from Cherno instead of (20-25 min run on foot) from the coast. I mean what else to do in this game while it lack content without base building, helis, cars - it`s a pvp survivial. My point is when helicopter parts, car parts, Berenzino will be busy again for sure - when fully gear military players looking for the engine and fuel to their chopter. So the coast will be busy again, right now all the pvp at the coast rumour is less and less to be honest, because new players follow the loot for sure which is good for the world map activity. And the north had some love with new tents, which means guys won`t sucide when they get a far north spawn, because it`s high end military loot right to NW Airfield or farther north route. Brief conclusion; I don`t understand your concern with this topic, because the issue is non existance, except Dayz SA lack content related to base building and vechile. http://www.dayztv.com/standalone/dayz-chernarus-plus-map/

    Mr Moon mentioned this building as well in his last Dayz SA live stream - so it`s not a new topic at all, and when live streamers focus on other games instead - it only generate less interest and income. Anyway I think we`re done debating this topic, a mod. can lock it for sure. ( I don`t mind.)
