Are all those new players in Elektro for PvP or? I'm far north west on the map, but I've spotted no one at full servers the last 2 hours (3rd person). I'm scouting for random heli crash sites, but it's always fun to shadow some 'new' players, hehe.

I support that, but only if they fix the pile of loot before such a wipe - otherwise it's no point. ^_^

I noticed this just now - I can't login, but I see other players are playing though on experimental. updated: It helped me when I restarted the dayz client - maybe some other issues on exp. I also noticed that we've an increased population on exp. recently after the attacks on the stable branch servers.

Any new 0.58 patch update tomorrow on wednesday?

I noticed that my sporter took some damage when I was hit in NW Airfield earlier today - never seen that before in dayz - so weapon cleaning kit finally will shine and see some use. updated: It's still very hard to spot fireplaces in the wild if you're more than 100 meters away - the light suddenly diminish with magic (50-70) meters away at night.

NW Airfield is empty, but it spawn some military loot spawn in 1 tent just north of Stary - good sniper spot too. :rolleyes:

yeah I can confirm that - I droped some ammo on the ground which didn't reset with server in 0.58 patch update. I hope they fix barrels before they use them on stable branch. ;)

Hunter scope on Sporter & Trumpet - you still hit too high with both of those 22 mm. weapons. You aim at a tree at close or medium range (30-200) meters. And both weapons are accurate without hunter scope, pls. fix. I placed some netting on the deer stand near Gorku - it will not spawn there. ^_^

ok loot respawn doesn't work - it's broken in 0.58, except heli crash sites. I've almost been on all experimental servers. However, it's possible to find apples when u no longer bother to check houses.

which items have persistence in 0.58?

pls. don't add new items in next patch 0.58, but fix the issues in patch 0.57 instead with random items vanish when u hold them and interact with different objects like water pumps and V35. And pls. fix tents so it saves items - so I can have fun when I'm fully geared with end game content. Now it's like fully gear and hope I die so I can gear up again with no end game, because tents doesn't save items after server resets. (It shows the vanish bug in this video at 4:20)

I enjoy the Esseker map to be honest even though it's not finished.

Well, not just weapons, but items u hold in hands and interact with other objects on the map like doors, water pumps, V35 etc. I think I've lost 3 weapons with scopes so far in this patch - just vanished. And if you saw off your mosin for example which take 5 inventory slots and wield it. and put another item like a compass for example on that slot in your backpack when you put your mosin back in your inventory again - it drops to the ground instead, because of the compass.

long range scope was removed from the loot table - SVD is the new sniper rifle now (modern rifle.)

Yeah, it feels like shooting blanks sometimes.

I lag like crazy and I've almost all graphic options turn off - and using the same setting as Frankieonpc. It's def. memory leak issues in larger cities at the moment.

It's not very solid structure in dayz, it's the same old.. So yes zombies sometimes go through walls and door structures. I saw off my mosin inside a deer stand it went through the floor and lucky I found it below on the ground.

I almost broke my leg on a deer stand, but I couldn't mend the injury. I was shaken like crazy so I had to create another character - I tried almost everything to fix it without success. Morphin, wooden splint, and epinephrine. I've not found any pain killers though so far in this patch.

yeah the bullet drop very fast - it's hard to hit anything after 300 meters. I've fire such a gun in real and it's very accurate up to 100 meters with a scope which I used in competition in my youth. However, you will hit slightly above with the hunter scope even at very short range (10-50) meters - (test it out dev team!) :) It's a different weapon and much more accurate compare to sporter, of course, but it use the same bullet:
