    Weapon sway

    The dev. dayz team which doing a great job with other aspects of the game, but I feel like I am drunk when I try to aim properly, hehe. :) It`s very noticeable when you use a long range scope at a tree about 300 meters and beyond. It shouldn`t be posstible to hold it perfectly still at 600 meters and beyond, but pls. look into it - the current weapon movements while aiming & holding your breath is too much to be honest.

    M72E10 is an upgraded version of the M72 Law launcher - it was used mainly in the brief Falkland war & Vietnam, and it`s produced in Raufoss, Norway. :)

    What kind of launcher is that M72 Law anti-tank launcher? There are no plans in dayz to have tanks so.. Otherwise no one will bother to pick it up. If they are aiming for a launcher - at least use one which u can shoot down helis air to air missiles like a Stinger! :)

    How can we fix camping ?

    I read the post, but it affect more than just setting up a tent camp concerning a dense forest - it also affect gameplay somewhat.. Besides, nettings is almost non existence on the current 0.59 build - if it should be possible to camo the tent to conceal it better with the terrain. All items related to netting is too rare which is the issue with our current Dayz build.

    I don`t support camping in dayz, In my opinion it`s the most low risk play in dayz similar to BF4 - just camp to get a good K/D ratio. And when a guy actually take risk to loot that tent or building get not rewarded at all by the current dev. dayz team. Because the zombie AI helps the camper to locate the high risk looting guy, because they start moving when a player is located at 600 + meter range - otherwise dayz zombies just stand still which is easy to spot if there are any other players nearby.

    I hope netting will be more common next patch - I miss my ghillie gun wrap among other things. :) I seldom server jump and I think it`s silly, because it break game immersion. Anyway, I usually play on private hives and it`s almost impossible to find netting.

    Netting is almost impossible to find as well on private hives related to the camo/ghillie tent topic in this 0.59 patch. So I hope the item will be more common in next patch. I admit that my barrels and tents have been raided, but I really don`t mind since I use it to store more basic items like food and water bottles since I seldom use a backpack.

    How can we fix camping ?

    I agree about sprinting and stamina use, and I don`t like H1z1 bunny jumping and their implementations at all, but the forest in dayz SA should be more dense and harder to spot other players. And when the warmth system work properly and heat packs will be something of a value in-game in dayz - u can`t camp too long until u catch cold and start shivering unless you have heat packs or heated items from campfires (warmth system) and that has been part of dayz SA since the beginning. The zombies are too predictable at the moment - they need some random elements build into the zombie AI.
  11. Yeah I agree, zombies should be more unpredictable; some should randomly wandering in other locations on the map, or inside houses. And it helps if they improve the zombie difficulty, because two hits with a firefighter axe is too easy and it create almost no sounds. And Zombies don`t give you infection at the moment which they should if u get hit by zombies - so it create a dangerous event for the player with risk involved vs. AI (zombies). At the moment zombies only move if another player is sensed nearby at (600-800) meter distance, but it`s more about server performance.. Because it only help campers to spot other players much easier in the same area - so hopefully the dayz dev. team will look into it when the server performance improves in the future.

    They could also improve the zombie AI like in H1Z1 - zombies will sense and track other players nearby who have camped for too long. But a good suggestion about the forest which is really easy to see through at the moment and provide really no protection or cover - when a camper lower his/her graphic settings in-game with a sniper rifle.
  13. My reason is that zombies are no threat in dayz - and bullets are saved for other players instead of zombies. Try 7 days to die on insane difficulty and very high enemy spawn - it`s fun and a good challenge even on single player mode. So it`s hard to spot other players when they hide in the forest, and players don`t need to use bullets on zombies, because they are no real threat in Dayz. Dayz team need to improve the zombie AI - or give them more health, and some special zombies with range attacks so this game will be a challenge also related to the heli crash sites topic which is unguarded loot at the moment. Basically very rare weapons like VSS, SVD, Fal, UMP, M4, FNX weapons are free loot for those with cars who look after crash sites due to no zombie challenge - hopefully Dayz team can add special zombies who are really dangerous for other players, and when they fix the server performance add unique zombie abilities at night which make them really dangerous and will sprint after players and sense them when they are nearby. And if u understand my reasoning; most heli crash sites will be a challenge to loot when players need to use bullets on zombies - so brief answer dayz team need to create a good challenge vs. players concerning the zombie topic. Conclusion when players need to use bullets on zombies due to a good challenge - it start to get a dangerous situation for players, because modern weapons create sounds in this game that other players can hear your position on the map who can challenge that crash site similar to NW Airfield with lots of good PvP encounters. So add dangerous zombies in night times who will be stronger or something, add a challenge to your zombie game like a horde, Dayz team. And same with construction and base building - it should attract zombies, and they should go hostile on obstacles like doors and building assets unless the players deal with the zombie threat.

    It all depends.. So when a server have too many squads, or 20 guys in elektro/cherno - the map feels really empty in other locations on the same map. So I think it`s great with 75+ players on this map. The zombies will, of course, increase in numbers which is based on server performance.

    I also hope the new construction and bases attract the zombies - so it feels like a threat so the zombie AI deals damage on locked doors and other building assets similar to seven days to die game.

    You will seldom find a weapon with ammo in the same building in SA - that easy mode version is in the arma 2 mod.So SA is not always live stream friendly, but when u actually find ammo for your weapons - it`s so much more rewarding which u need to survive.Zombie AI in arma 2 is just annoying garbage which is too easy to exploit and abuse to discover other players nearby in the area, or just silly like hiding in a bush when zombies watch u. And someone mentioned buildings u can`t access - very limited content FFA world with zombies in arma 2 mod. SA with patch 0.59 is not a finished product guys - still an alpha with Q1-Q2 roadmap content - we still miss things like: - Aerial transport - Barricading. - Construction (base building) - Animal predators. Dayz dev. source: http://www.dayztv.com/standalone/dayz-2015-roadmap/ - About SA status and some decision I don`t agree with.. There are some issues indeed at the moment like traps not working properly (grenade/rabbit traps.) range finder not working default at 6 meters. And netting is almost impossible to find near the coast line at the moment for cammo, and I don`t agree with netting current locations on the map. The whole boat system (locations) usually end up with accidents like dead newspawns near the coast from other survivors who have end game military weapons in their search of netting. My point is; it`s up to each player how to play this game, but the netting location should not promote hunting newspawns near the coast. So it`s much better if these boat locations are near lakes instead near the center of the map. Dayz devs should try to avoid end game item locations that promote killing newspawns on the server.

    It`s a good survival tip to spread out the bandages and bullets - just in case u get hit so not all are ruined so u can bandage yourself. And it might save your life, because the damage/bullet impact is a bit dodgy at the moment - so if u have spare room in your backpack and inventory - split items up for protection. ^_^

    There are some issues with the exp. servers - two major rollbacks lost (5-10) minutes in game twice - so I won`t participate in test until a new patch is out that actually support 75 player servers with some fixes related to server stability.

    .59 Constantly dying for no reason

    I`m trying to cut the stairs the same way in the same barn without resulted in the same way as u in the youtube video. But I died once in a similar way when I was out of the hunting shed stair on 0.59 exp. branch. Updated: - I think the main issue is in the (Fall damage code in-game.) The game usually lag, but what is actually happening is that the game calculate fall damage, because your character is in the air split seconds - I think sometimes it calculate wrong so the game thinks the character is high in the air which usually result in the character dying. It's my theory though - it would be great if someone working on the code could comment on it. Personally, I feel the fall damage in general is too severe at the moment in dayz.
