    I want to try the x-bow - I saw it one shot killed a zombie on a livestream earlier, hehe. So hard to find ammo for it though at the moment.

    I noticed that the binoculars is buged now with this minor update - you need sometimes to hit "B" button otherwise it`s hard to use it properly. It sounds great no hurry - the character saved for me now when the server crashed - I was on the 1st person server, and I was hit in the leg, but I notice fracture bone doesn`t make you limb, thanks Bohemia for nothing fixing all bugs probably saved my life. ;)

    I only mention issues with the new patch, but overall it`s a huge improvement and I really enjoy the new patch version 0.61 compare to 0.60, and I notice some FPS drop, but hopefully the main reason is the test server.

    Tactical shirts better be water proof as in description @Hicks_206 (DayZ) :) Ok facts about weapons. Only modern assault rifles, mousin, winchester, SKS, Izh should have cracks/snap by the way. In real life the bullet speed need to be faster than sound to get that effect. Sporter, trumpet, mp5, scorpion, pistols and shotguns versions in dayz do not have fast enough bullet speed and travel time to get the snap/crack sound. So something to think about before you implement it in my opinion, but as I mentioned for me aiming with a scope, or aiming with a weapon iron sigh when you turn around is a much more severe issue at the moment. It feels clunky and lagy for some reasons - it need to be fixed before it hit stable, @Hicks_206 (DayZ) It also have similar lag issues when I was hit by zombies inside a civil building - I was knocked through the solid wall to outside of the building and I was shot at the same time near Green Mountains, but he missed. Anyway back to loot table topic in 0.61. It`s a lot harder to find food for sure now, but glad that long range scopes are back on the loot table. I found a fishing rod on a zombie corpse this evening - what else have you found on a zombie corpse recently? And crash sites are back in this new update for sure - happy hunting! ;)

    Yeah, my mic. was charging so I did not use it, but I could hear it on my TV in my living room. I will test more though with weapons in general, but as you mentioned it`s probably under development, and maybe not 100% fully implemented game sound feature.

    I mentioned it earlier it get time to get used to compare to 0.60, but there are no such sounds in Battlefield 1 for example. You just jump in your chair when u got shot at, or get nerve wreck with the crack/snap sounds. I felt the changes was a pleasant surprise, because as I mentioned earlier I had no issues to hear where the bullets landed nearby me without the snap/crack sounds. The most important in a firefight is to know where the weapon is fire at, where the person is located when he is aiming at you - and that is a huge sound improvement related to weapon & bullet sounds compare to older Dayz SA versions to this date.

    Don`t put this on stable - that`s all I`ve to say. lol And always save inventory room for a raincoat. I died within 5-10 minutes after it rained with starting items. If it still rain and you out in the nature you`ve a huge issue, because you can`t start a fireplace when it`s raining. I think cold weather should be important, but balance it pls. I know the server time multipler is *12 though.

    ok new patch is broken - temprature goes way too fast down when you`re wet from rain or swimming - and when you lit a fireplace - it warm you way too slowly - it make no sense.

    I`m worried about the clunkiness at the moment related to aiming with your weapon with a scope or without - it is far from smooth at the moment. I`m not sure if there are issues with the animation of the weapon or something else, but don`t release this 0.61 on stable yet, because aiming with a weapon now feels really clunky when u look around in different directions almost like lag. However loot table looks much better, and I think you fix some of the clone item issues - I`ve still spotted couple of sks`s in the same deer though, but it looks better with the new patch, well done! :) I seldom find any 9 mm. ammo or winchester though, or long range scopes! ))

    I believe it work as intended related to bullet impact - it should not be a high sound bullet impact in my opinion. It`s much more important to hear the location of the weapon when it`s fired. And I had no issue to hear when I was shot at that the bullets hit nearby me. Don`t fix if it ain`t broken. The weapon sound system work *10 times better compare to 0.60, which is barely functional in comparison to in-game weapon sounds in the 0.61 patch, and character breathing mechanic sounds including the 1st person sound adjustment fix.

    It`s possible to remove the status window in top right corner? It`s hard to adjust scopes and range on weapons since the info is behind the status window.

    A minor bug update related to semi loot piles: I notice that some weapons spawns inside civil buildings again and that`s great, but usually you get a copy of the exact same weapon. It`s the same issue in Deer Stance, I usually find 2-3 SKS for instant. And you`ve the same with ammo in green tents usually *4 pack of ammo of .45 ACP 25 rounds. If Dayz dev. team struggle with some server performance recently since they have locked experiemental servers - that might be an issue - it seems like the loot table clone on item spawns, which probably result in worst server quality.. I`ve still the memory crash issue when I exit from a session of Dayz.

    I found the crash at the same spot just north of the Green Mountain huge radio tower. And it was no weapons has Hicks mentioned just a grenade, + gas grenade and a grey tactical shirt. They might have disable it until they figure out to fix loot piles, or crash issues we had last week.

    And both Sporter & Trumpet is too loud at the moment @Hicks_206 (DayZ) - I`ve tested both and it should be more silence for sure similar to the 0.60 patch.

    It`s an unknown respawn bug until last mintues - I`ve tested it a while and figure out that the bug happen sometimes only when you log into a new server. I killed myself to test this again to reproduce it, and when I respawned the grahpic issues was fixed on a 1st person server. It`s a joy to play 1st person now with the same sound as 3rd person, exccellent job dayz team - I think 1st person will be much more popular now that breathing mechanic is lower, and 1st person sounds less intense. The dynamic lightning inside a building is working, but still some bugs with it. (my flare inside) as you can see with the window. Campfire and flares still diminish and vanish at too short distance around 200 meters, @Hicks_206 (DayZ) It should be possible to spot campfires from at least 1000 meters distance.

    I had a rare friendly encounter at the NW Airfield - we test weapon sounds, UMP45, SKS to be exact, sounds awesome! killed zombies at the airfield, I love the new sound system in Dayz! I was actually sniping from ATC, but I felt bad about to take him out since he was so kind to kill all the zombies below the tower, lol. :) Yeah, some servers have issues to save the character unfortunately.

    Queue for hours and when a server going offline - guys can instantly join it without queue. They need a lot more servers, because guys plays for hours at the time in this game.

    I agree that weapon/zombie damage should be adjusted on items - right now one hit from a zombie can break your weapon - it happen to me earlier some days ago - it went from prestine to badly damage, but I had a weapon cleaner.

    yeah, I was just teasing with numbers 2k is mmo style different approach and genre. But I think when we are closer to beta that we should aim for about 100/100 servers - just a personal opinion based on the map scale in Dayz.

    I didn`t had the time to read his whole post, but I notice the first couple of sentences. Persistence killed it for you, lol not sure if serious... The whole idea about the Dayz experience is to build base and store your stuff in locked containers like chests and survive and you should board zombies out, or raid another base for hostile neigbours for loot and take away their grade A military equipment in case the kids hurt themself or others in-game. The fact is dayz when it was out was almost completely broken and borderline playable consider the low FPS issues, items vanished completely when you dropped something on the ground to bandage yourself. Well it was not much to show at the beginning, because the game lack contents like end game base building! So most end up in cities for death match experience, or dig out snipers at the NW Airfield sure. I`m not sure if you serious or not with that comment, but the younger generation of players should be patience, and wait until the game is finished. Because we`re not even in beta at the moment, and 0.61 servers are offline.

    It`s interesting about new map changes which is also an on-going process - not sure if 60/60 is enough players on a server to get it interesting. Crowfall in beta soon and open world launches with crafting and pvp testing have a sandbox server which will have 2000 players on the same server, but the map is in similar size as Dayz, but it`s an mmo. So I hope the dayz dev. team are aiming for 100+ population in beta to get a decent amount of action on the Dayz map, because it`s easy to blend into the terrain and stay hidden if you wish to keep a low profile, and most players are green or black after 10 minutes of play so. :)
