Ever since the last patch, maybe even before (didn't have a chance to test), I can't hear my friends over VOIP or see their "/" chat. They can see what I write, though. I tried reinstalling the whole game, didn't help. Any solution?

I can't see what others type now or speak over IP, but they can see what I type. I also reinstalled the whole game.

I don't, I'm just pointing out it doesn't make server hopping useless because you don't know when an item was looted enough to stop spawning so you still hop and hope it's still there.

How do you know when an item is done spawning?

I play both and see no difference. I played more on hardcore lately though, so I have this habbit of playing 1pp even on regular sometimes.

I just reinstalled DayZ to try and fix some issue. It asked me to specify the destination. I left the default steam location, but you can choose where it goes. Regarding the performance, I think it will do well, despite being Alpha.

SSD is also SATA so yea'. You mean HDD. Just have both DayZ and Windows on SSD. You don't need whole steam on the SSD, although it doesn't take much space.

LRS is so common now. The binoculars only had slightly more zoom, if I remember, otherwise not worth.

Depends. For boar I waited like 5 minutes, deer 10 minutes and cow 20 and still didn't cook, I just left the meat there.

My only problem regarding this is that the sun and light sources make the screen black. If I look at the sun irl I don't see black, I just see too much white. Also, during the day or evening I won't see pitch black if I look directly at a gas lamp or camp fire.

Then he adopted you and his pack raised you as one of their own? I don't know what to say. Have you tried reinstalling the whole game? Also when you quit the game, let steam sync dayz, it shows up in the library.

I lost my 4 month old hardcore toon after I disconnected safely and the game stopped working after quitting. I couldn't care less, already found 3 more LRS and Mosin with ammo in some new city, but now after I quit, the game stopped working once more so I think I got reset again.
