Thank you for the opinion! I've currently set no real date on this project. there has been a moment or two where i almost decided to scrap this project entirely. However, i'm working on it now. So far, a rough draft has been finalized and from there on a decent script to use. And from there, video recording and editing. I've calculated that these episodes should be ready around August/september. Just to get everything done. So it's still a while for those 4 episodes. But then again, these are mere calculations. The more people willing to work on this project. The less time it will take for me to finish it ;).

Ive bought the game, so i could get it on a cheaper price instead of paying a shitload more money for a finished product. also to fund the project. But i'm not playign this game, day in and out. I just jump in the game, once a week and play it for a couple of hours. And usually make an episode out of it. This game would be boring to play every day... Atleast in this stage of the development

Just need to buy glasses my friend. 1. Never said zombies needed to be removed since i'm not the OP. 2. my first mistake? In a game where zombies rule the world there is no ultimate safe zone for you to log off from zombies. I log off near the outskirts of a forrest. But ever since one of the first patches zombies just seem to lock on to you whenever you log in. I see zombies 800 meters away from me, suddenly move toward me when i just respawned, and didn't give my position away by firing for example. What am i suppose to do? Log off on a radio tower? 3. My second "mistake?". Same thing. Zombies spawn right next to you these days. nothing i can do about it besides not playing lol. 4. My third "mistake"? I never said i have not adapted. I'm not an idiot running through a city while there are zombies behind me following me and put my direct chat on while playing the benny hill song. You just assume, just because i said that zombies in alpha are ninja's. Doesn't give you the right to start making me a fool like the scumbag keyboard warrior you are. My opinion about zombies in alpha do not change however. They're annoying little buggers. I don't want them removed. But the devs should finally finalize the AI and zombie coding in particular just so they don't walk through walls. You can call me all sorts of names as you wish. But i'm going to keep my opinion of you nicely quiet. Just to prove i'm not a "immature child". Oh, did i mention that there is no such thing as an "immature child"? Children are immature anyway. it's like saying " there's a dead corpse", since the corpse is dead anyway. Now who's the one getting mocked?

The issue here is that the zombies are ninja's and can smell you from since you login now. I considered myself safe in a house since no zombie chased me. And suddenly they're behind me munching me. Oh and check my signature that they're ninja's aswel.

I want to see them in late beta. Reason? Well, with vehicles now. Everybody would want it, but only some will. Driving a vehicle will be even more risky. Would ambush gas stations for vehicles and a massive war would occur between those who do and don't have one. Also, with vehicles you tend to just gear up quicker. Driving to the airfields and military bases and just gear up in minutes or help your friends gearing up... Now that they're adding more locations to use. I say that vehicles are out of the question in Alpha

(Logo made by Calyx) Hello guys. This topic is a bit of a plea for help, a plea for attention and a plea of advice. A couple of months ago, i've written a topic about seeking people for a dayZ movie. It was well recieved and many replied. However, after a couple of changes in the story, duration and what we want to make. I've decided to turn the original DayZ movie into a small webseries ranging from 5 to 15 minutes in length. With the current draft made, and the first episodes on paper. It's time for us to go in development and turn something on paper to reality. DayZ DESPERATION: 4 Survivors of a zombie apocalypse find themselves together to fight of the hordes of creatures who are constantly stalking them in chernarus. There are currently 4 episodes planned; "Jayce" "Stavros" "Sergey & Kiril" "Answers" These 4 episodes are basicly a showcase and a test to wether or not you like it once we're done. Why am i telling you this? Because I need your help in accomplishing this. Even though i already have a decent amount of people able. The thing i'm lacking the most are voice actors. I need voice actors from both genders able to do some volunteering work. Aswel with additional body actors ( people who are ingame). the same goes for eventually for a "private" server that we can lend for a day just so we can not be bothered by eventual other players who know nothing about what we do. There are, however certain restrictions and special needs. Voice acting: We need people who can speak russian or have a strong russian accent to use ( since it's all in chernarus, i don't want bloody yankees as the native people there :D) 16+ only Must have a decent microphone to use. Body acting: Needs to be available when asked (I will inform you 3 days before we film stuff) Must have skype/teamspeak Age 16+ ( this is because I don't want to mess around much.) Eventual server: If you have a server you can lease to us for free. In other terms, use for a day or 3. please PM me! Everybody participating will be credited in the end credits after each episode. Now, as the script is still a "draft". Some changes can be done. I would ask everybody here reading this, to post an opinion on what the series should be about. In other terms; Should it contain a lot of action? Or more story driven? Your personal opinion ;) Now that's it for now.
