  1. Pretty poor still, but better. The interaction is better in that you can sneak around them now although they seem to have a habit of tagging me when I'm trying to quench my thirst. The animations are still pants and their speed is a little concerning although they do tire. The downside of this is it has become a bit of a game of kiting when overwhelmed. Run them off till they tire then finish them off. If you try to engage them it's like I would imaging fighting Neo from the matrix was like, they hit you multiple times within seconds and pop in and out of your sight-line, they move completely unrealistically for a biped subjected to physics. But the other factors are game engine limitation? This was never developed for melee as the engine was designed for shooting so can it even be improved upon. And why the heck dont we have a weapon melee option and knockdowns? If a Zed gets too close to shoot you could be damn sure I would smash my rifle or pistol into it with the resultant breathing room it gives to slot it. And conversely if a Zed belts me hard enough I should stumble or tumble. Too much missing with sloppy controls.

    CPU strength?

    Just come back after a 12 month hiatus to try 0.55 and noticing a definite drop in GFX performance on the same rig. Tweak it down as best to improve it.

    You really have not got the slightest clue what you are talking about, you sound reminiscent of someone with no depth of understanding of a field yet seem to think you have a fine grasp of the intricacies. Sincerely just stop playing for a few months, come back when more content is available.

It absolutely should not, it works as intended and it works well, it simply needs a couple of bugs tweaking to ensure it reverts back to normal on its own instead of having to use the menus to fix. My reason? I ran into a firestation in Elektro and didn't see the other player in there who raised his pistol and started unloading at me. I caught a few as I dashed out the front door and flanked around the rear. I cowered behind a substation opposite the rear door and bandaged but it was too late, full blur and black and white, I was basically out of the fight. I had to cower there and even saw enough to spot the other player crouch run around the perimeter looking for me shortly after. I had him bang to rights but didnt dare try as I would struggle to hit him with my little pistol and screwed up vision. I had to wait till he cleared the area before I could move out and clear the city to heal myself, and even then I was lucky to get out. You should not be able to tank bullets and then gun down another player as though nothing has happened at the touch of a bandage, it should have real consequence that inhibits your abilities.
