I never saw anyone. I was only there for a little while, as I only get 17 fps and can't play effectively there.

I'm outside of zelenogorsk. I roam the west and the north. Also, all of you are wrong. The purpose of Dayz is to find a fucking fishing hook. That is the end game. I have a fully kitted akm, minus drum mag, and everything else I could possibly want except FUCKING FISHING HOOK. ALL I WANT TO DO IS FISH. WHY DO YOU MOCK ME DAYZ? WEAPONS FOR DAYSS...I COULD ARM EVERY "PREPPER" IN AMERICA AND HAVE ENOUGH GUNS LEFT OVER TO START MY OWN ARMY.

It's a glitch. Most people don't even realise that they're talking over global. -
You can already see around corners and over walls....but you still have to exploit. Sad. Glad I only play hardcore.

I haven't even gotten the chance to get killed while fishing. 10 hours spent searching for a fishing hook and I've found nothing.

It's not a play style, it's an exploit. I, for one, hope they start wiping gear within x meters when a player logs in. Anything that discourages server hopping, or renders it useless is a good thing to me. -
Install steam to your higher capacity hdd. Use "steam mover" to move just the games you want to your ssd. http://www.traynier.com/software/steammover It's a cool little program that keeps you out of command prompt. Of course you could always learn how to do it with command prompt.

Saline and blood bags require a second player to administer them to you. Fix "my leg is painful" with either morphine or a splint(combine sticks/rags) Sticks can be scavenged for in the woods on the ground using the scroll wheel menu.

Don't expect awesome performance. It's certainly better, but it isn't an entirely amazing performance jump...at least with the latest stable build.

When the running speed is cut by 2/3 and cars go as fast as we run now, the map will seem twice as large.

I used to hate this idea. Then I realised that even if a player hopped for days to get a rare piece of gear, its unlikely that he would ever find it. Also, even if a player found, say, NVGs, and no one else could because the item limit had been reached; eventually, one of them will die, probably violently, probably ruining the item, and having it placed back into the loot table. I think the implementation wont feel much different then having a rare chance to spawn every time a spawn location respawns items, except that not everyone will have said item. It also makes private loot farms mostly useless. -

It's not worth the risk of them not talking to you over voice chat. Too many people pretend not to have a mic so that they can talk to their friends on ts without fucking up. -
