I like this, though I don't think they should exclusively spawn on weapons. I think they should spawn on weapons and have their likely hood to spawn on their own be brought down significantly. -

I don't know about the mosin in game, as I've never shot one, but the m44 variant can definitely produce a ridiculous amount of flame when fired. That's part of the reason they're so fun to shoot. Edit- Shitty video, but shows what I'm talking about.

It's a scroll wheel option when looking at the forest floor. It might only work in first person.

I like playing at night, but because of the way flashlights currently work in game, it makes it quite difficult.

I don't see the point of giving up a good defensive position and thus the advantage. I would stay, especially if I could see around walls without exposing myself(aka the reason 3pp is lame) -

They may just have to leave a quadrant, not fully loot it. So it will be like the mod, except instead of taking all of the loot from NWAF and going 500m away, you will have to do 1 or 2km away to get it to respawn. -
PVP is an integral part of the Dayz experience, although the beginning of your post provides a great reason to make zombies more numerous and difficult to deal with. If you knew what my rig is, you might consider me spoiled lol
