If you want to save a little money, and you dont plan on overclocking, get the non-"k" version of the 4670, it's about $20 cheaper.

A lot of people like the cooler master hyper 212 evo. It goes for $35 on newegg. If you stick with the stock heat sink you could find yourself running at extremely high temps, and you wont be able to overclock at all. I assume thats why you're going with the 4670k and not the 4670.

Simple solution that everyone will hate- Remove ALL firearm spawns from the coast(maybe have bows, when implemented). It forces people to move inland. On top of that make good condition firearms rare and ammo even rarer. Players need to be forced to explore the map, if they have no reason to, they wont. I spend all of my time in the north and its always empty, ESPECIALLY on full servers.

Make sure you buy a heatsink to go with that furnace.

A lot of people are now building their own bows out of pvc pipe too....something that should be way more common than any ready-to-go weapon you could find.

It doesnt seem to make any sense. I can see my friend slingshot back 30 meters to where he was before....so the server is obviously telling my client where he is, then it changes its mind and warps him back. Can anyone explain this?

Then I wonder who ran around chernarus replacing all of the bolts in all of the mosins.....but yeah I think youre right, I dont see any place for the scope to mount to on the rifle itself. Maybe it just wasnt considered important enough to bother showing it.

I've never used the sights on a pistol when shooting irl....just look at where you want to hit, and the bullet goes there every time. I look at the target, not the gun. I dont think anything should be out of focus when using a pistol in game.

I would be o.k. with that. Especially because the mosin in game is a sniper variant, so it should already be set up to accept a PU scope.

Sounds to me like the OP wants an arena zombie shooter, and not a survival game.

I do miss the global chat from the mod....if only to be warned of flying hackers, or aimbot teleporters.

At the same time, it doesnt make sense for the whole population of chernarus to be expert snipers.

If my 3570k and gtx680 can barely pull 25fps in some towns, the xbone and ps4 are gonna crawl without significantly reducing draw distance/graphical fidelity. If they can somehow get these things to pull 30fps peak with similar settings to what Im running I would be impressed. Judging by the 360s history....it MIGHT be possible, but not for a few more years after game devs have had enough time to seriously dig into the hardware and optimise for the operating system and custom hardware configurations. If a 750ti($150) can pull 58fps in Titanfall at 1080p, while on the xbone, they wont even tell you what fps theyre capable of(at 792p) because "these things get way overblown", the future seems pretty dismal for console; not hopeless, but I wouldnt bet on it coming to console at any kind of respectable frame rate.

I was with a friend up north when a zombie attacked me(after spawning right on me). The zombie hit me, and my friend was kind enough to hit me with his axe and then slay the zombie. After the attack my ttsko jacket was ruined, but my press vest went from worn to pristine....Ive had this press vest for 2 weeks, probably 10 hours(at least) of game time and it has always been in "worn" condition. So, I have 2 questions about this. 1. Did the zombie(or the axe) fix my vest? 2. Has anyone else encountered anything like this?

Yeah I know, in my 180 hours I've only found 1. I havent had it happen to any other vest either.

No idea, but I assume they wont be able to fit in backpacks....it would be hard to fit them in one irl.

I choose the mosin, with the m-4 I hit everything except what Im aiming at, mostly because its hard NOT to use the essentially infinite ammo you find for the m4.
