Anyone worried there will be too many ammo types ?
gorvi replied to gibonez's topic in General Discussion
Yeah. I look at that storage room in the police station and think; that would be an awesome place for a reloading press. -

gorvi replied to gibonez's topic in General Discussion
I'm worried we wont get ammo presses. Parts even, to take back to base/camp. -
A smart soldier. He got some R&R after he broke his ankle trying to kick in the door in like a tool.
-
Strategically infecting clothing/items or a guild mate and sending into a community player town.
-
No. For the same reason I pick pc versions over console. Community support and projects..

(Rocket Stream) Did he say we can jump from public to private?
gorvi replied to pacific_coast's topic in General Discussion
I noticed this too and think we need some clarification. Seems like an odd thing when anti-server hopping was just implemented. -
@Dean Hall, you didn't touch much on character customization!
gorvi replied to extremenuggets's topic in General Discussion
Dean confirmed high customization options while keeping the characters realistic. I could imagine something like skyrim has. -
There are game files for an "Improvised fixture." Ignore the haters.
-
Definitely sunburn/stroke. Also, tanned players would be a good way to show how long the character has survived.
-
Fawkes Guy mask possibly incoming.

Do you think altis life will be recreated on the dayz sa?
gorvi replied to nighhawk's topic in General Discussion
I hope so. The core of dayZ will make a way better altis life experience than arma does . Especially when they get farming and hunting into the game. Players could grow there own cash crops. Devs also commented about adding emergency response attire to the game soon. -
A suggestion to remove flashlights from new characters. Add candles, torches, wick lanterns, glowsticks, flares, zippos and other light sorces as random loot. Nights could be a little brighter. Especially durring nights with a full moon. It would be cool if the moon phases acted like server time does.

Pending Changelog: Experimental branch: 0.34.XXXXX
gorvi replied to rocket's topic in News & Announcements
I would recommend people watching Rockets twitch stream. He addresses many issues players are currently having on the current release. -
Most apocalyptic style clothing should be done by player crafting. Give those ruined tires, burlap sacks, and duct tape some use. Sewing kit confirmed. ;)

Just 2¢ from someone who has used these weapons in his day job
gorvi replied to Robert Allison's topic in Suggestions
I agree with the m4 accuracy. It needs to be tighter at further ranges. The bipod should only allow you to reduce shaking. I would like to see reloading times for clips depend upon where you put the ammo, no quick reloading from backpack, and slower reloading then now. Also, pulling out a gun from a holster should be faster then pulling out a gun from the assault vest, which should be faster then pulling out the saw off shotgun from the backpack. I would like to see weapon slings in the game which allow holding an exposed weapon with faster draw than a weapon strapped to the backpack. -
I guess there are a lot of people here who aren't going to play Star Citizen.

Charging people money to help you "make" a game....
gorvi replied to jBrick's topic in General Discussion
Most big game companies rush out games, and drop support after 1-2 patches. $30 now to help development and participate in alpha stages, or $60 in late 2015 for the finished game. Development can die mid production of a game. Usually, money is the cause. -
This and dusters too please!
-
I would like to see this. The whole procedure should take 1 minute. If the player moves then you start to bleed, ruin the rest of the bag, and may get an infection. Same should apply if being administered by a team mate rather than just canceling the transfusion. Administered saline could slowly refill blood a set amount over the course of 30 minutes or until full. A little better regeneration than just being healthy.

Pending Changelog: Experimental Branch: 0.33.114782
gorvi replied to rocket's topic in News & Announcements
Also I would like to see food and water take up more inventory space, and longer periods between thirst and hunger. Inventory having weight which effects stamina and stealth would be cool. -
Suggestion - disable VOIP during gameplay
gorvi replied to conan the librarian's topic in Suggestions
Best there can be is radios allowing communication with other random players who have them and are within range. -
Rolling Changelog: Stable Branch: 0.32.114557
gorvi replied to rocket's topic in News & Announcements
Corpse spam is the main problem and reason for the fix. Later, we need some hungry zombies to help clean things up. Be lucky your corpse isn't somewhere an infected cant reach it and ruin your gear. -

Scared to run into you in-game, quick draw. -
