Yes report servers and either get no response or same like the one in the first post. And the facts that devs made no appearance in any of several thread that discuss the issue does not make things easier.

We did give devs decent content, screenshots showing the severity of the problem, emails where servers providers say they won't take any actions against those who break the rules. And did that do anything ? I wouldn't be exaggeration to say that 30-40% of servers are now locked or are kicking. Community tried to deal with this and we failed. Now it's time for them to step up and do something. And how could anyone expect this thread not to derail into rant and insult flame war ? You asked community do enforce your rules, community agreed and did it's best. And it failed, at this point devs should have taken immediate action.

No it's not you guys break the rules which you agreed to respect, and what you do now is trying to justify that. It's that simple. You are not better than server hoppers, in fact you are worse because they risk their gear when hopping, and you hide behind passwords and auto kicks. You break the rules to stop those who abuse in game mechanics. You should admit that. There would be more dignity in it.

Hello Kal El The problem is that in reality most people would not walk around during the night time. They would find safe spot to spend the night at. Only those with night vision could walk around without attracting too much attention. As for flash lights, two types of people walk around with them : Recklessly brave Plain stupid And now most servers have same day time as the time zone they're in which means most people who have job or school don't have the chance to play during daytime unless it weekend.

I'll also say this once, servers that kick people do not kick after 5 minutes, they kick instantly.

Stop calling people sociopaths, they are bored, currently getting all the gear is easy and fast, ammo is abundant, so what do you do after you geared up ? One option is to kill people. Later on when guns and ammo is very scarce, KoS will decrease by a lot, because people will be more busy finding things they need to survive. Which means they won't shoot others for fun because that bullet might be needed later.

If you mean 2000 dollars than no, I have a rig that's around $1900 (not including monitors) and I still get FPS drops. The reason for FPS even on powerful rigs is that any game at an alpha stage will have little no no optimization so no matter what rig you have it will drop FPS.

Great stuff but it won't affect everyone, high end gaming monitors have so many settings that even with in game menu locked I will be able to improve my night vision. My Eizo FS2331 has all the options to do so. I can even change black level to turn black into grey. It also automatically adjust contrast for best visibility. Now don't get me wrong I'm showing off here, I'm saying that blocking in game setting will give advantage to people with highly customizable monitors.

Darn it And I was stupid to shoot to kill every time I was camping between kamyshovo and electro, well it's seems like I found and new purpose in my life. On the other I am General Zod and it can only end one way.

It's creepy as fuck, yesterday I was sniping near Kamyshovo and I was going full blown paranoid because of these random sounds. I mean those rocks aren't exactly the safest place to begin with, and I like little tension every now and than, but that's too much.

Well I kill on sights, at that goes for everyone with as much as baseball bat if you get to close. I might spare a newbie if he does not do something stupid. Two days ago I was looting balota, near the barracks I ran into a guy, seemed to be nicely geared but no gun. I had my SKS ready to fire. We both stopped he moved bit to the side, and we stared at each other for few seconds, than I saw him reaching for weapon, at first I though he's going for his axe, but no he had an M4 which I couldn't see because of big backpack. Long story short, I fired one shot before he got his gun out and he was knocked down, than he started to get up. Next shot and he's dead. So if I ran into you and you have any sort of fire arm I will kill you the second I see you. I'm not taking any chances I died to many times because I hesitated. If you have a melee weapon I might not shoot you straight up but one wrong move and you're full of lead. If you're a newbie and I'm not on a sniping mission, you keep your distance and you'll live.

And that's the problem, we do not have constantly low FPS it drops in towns.

Still massive FPS drops in towns, form around 50 to 25 and less.

FPS drops are there because this is an early alpha, there is virtually no optimization also there is currently a memory leak in towns which kills your FPS it's being worked on. It was supposedly fixed but it wasn't SSDs don't boost your FPS, all they do is cause game to start faster.

Are you guys morons or do you just pretend ? You will be able to do whatever you want with your server when the game is done, but right now your douchebaggery interferes with testing of open alpha. Is that so hard to comprehend ? You agreed to server hosting rules and now you have the audacity to come here and openly defend breaking those rules ? Servers have to be open so that people can play and test stuff, that includes hive connection, and your server locking is making that difficult. What's even worse is that game devs don't really care and make players deal with this.
