How about we add a third type of people in game : those who post stupid things like that on forum. For them the game will go even more out of it's way and uninstall itself, than not allow you to install DayZ ever again.

Putting M4 in a bag sure might be necessary. But the AK family is well know for being pretty much immune to even harsh weather and environmental condition.

Yesterday (or should I say today at 4 AM) I did a massive 30-40 min server hopping marathon. On the small base near Kabanino and Vybor. Why ? Because there was a ton of empty servers and I wanted the AKM, so no harm done since not only I didn't hoard any other loot but also most people were asleep so they wouldn't take that gear anyway.

Some give 5 and 1 minute warnings.

So you don't get it. It's not about how you spawn, it's about what you make after you spawn, which gives you and your buddies the option to be the military man, or medics or lone survivors, or killers. There is no role assigned here, your experience is what you make it be, along with those who you meet.

You do not need to go there to get all the thing you'll ever need to survive, Never, not once, towns are full of supply, they even spawn military gear such as Vests, Jackets and Trousers, there are SKS, Mosins, Sporters, Shotguns, Blazes and all the pistols in towns. There is ammo in towns, there is food, water, tools and medical supplies. So if campers in military zones bother you so much do no go there. Last 3 times I was gearing up the only military place I went was a what is left of the airport near krasno. The only time you need to go to military base is when you want a full military gear and an AKM. But if you want things like that, well sorry there will be a lot of risk involved. So what OP wants is easy way to get geared like one man platoon. Because it's far easier to survive looting towns than bases. Towns have far far more places where loot spawns and are in fact close to each other so don't even need to server hop. So let the killers have their PvP in there, better there than in every single town on the map.

Survival simulator means dealing with other people regardless of their intentions towards you, and not receiving gear from randomly spawned NPCs.

And who are you to tell people that they shouldn't do what they like ? Killing new spawns, yes stupid and pointless unless they attack first, killing a guy with nothing but a bag pack and an axe if he keeps his distance, perhaps questionable, but hunting and killing armed players in DayZ provides thrill like no other game out there, The fact that so much is on the line and one false move will undo all your effort to gear up makes it one of the best in game experiences of all. There is also a 3rd group Pacifist - someone who forgot that he is not playing Sims MMO but a supposedly a hardcore survival game, which by default will include other players who will kill just to make your existence miserable. There is always a balance in the universe, and as there are those who help so are those who seek to destroy. I'd rather shoot the guy on sight than stop, talk to him, give him false hope and than shoot.

Well I did my share of sniping and not once I was sprayed with an M4, there two keys to that : 1. Choose your position wisely, something to cover your back, up hill and with very few access routes, to put it simply, make coming for you way too risky for him. 2. Either keep SKS on your back for that CQB or get a friend who will do that, you can swap roles.

Nah that was just waiting for a friend, town was already looted and I was guarding a mosin for him. 90% of my kills are close and personal. And that's skipping the fact that camping also requires skill. Sniping is an art, combining patience, invisibility, and precision.

I never said I'm a bandit, I am a killer, and I'm good at it. If I need any loot and I don't want to run around I just camp in a hot spot and to this Than take their gear.

What if I shoot you in the head to kill you without ruining your gear before I loot you, so that you do not resist my arrest ? Because frankly there is nothing stopping you from not letting me hold you up, take your stuff and humiliate you. Even with an axe I'd rather attack the guy who's trying to hold me up forcing him to kill me and ruin my gear. If I can't have it, no one will.

And it would have to be implemented along with some really good anti hopping mechanism because otherwise it will get out of hand even more than it is now.

In a places where you want to have your gun out you shouldn't be sprinting anyway. Move slowly, keep low profile and have your gun ready.

Or you could double tap on the head and get all the gear.

Still could be farmed between friends and on private servers. And like I said, not a single combat improvement should be implemented.
