The more time I spend in berezino the more hackers I see, wallhacks, and teleportation are the most common.

Guys I'm afraid you got it all wrong. People play KoS style for two reasons, - The survival elements are only now starting to be implemented, so for now it's not survival game - Because once you get an axe and find some food and water you no longer struggle to survive, People get bored, which results in people seeking some fun in form of fighting each other, which you call turning dayZ into CoD Not everyone finds making fire places fun, some people want to play survival game while being a bad guy, and I know it fucking hurts you to accept this, but this is they way it's going to be, this is a snadbox and no matter how much you hate on this, some people will play as killers. Some elements such as loot scarcity, large numbers of zeds, stamina and such will certainly reduce it. But it will never be gone.

Because food and drinks are so scarce.

Great but this does not consider one thing, everyone has different response to high stress situations, not everyone would start shaking while wetting themselves.

How can they care about something that's not yet in the game ? Only now we get some adverse effects from weather. But what was there to survive before ?

Close but I don't snipe freshspawns unless provoked. And here is the kicker, DayZ is a sandbox which means it is what I make of it. If I want to be a sniper I can , if I want to be a no pants axe wielding psycho, I can, if I want to be good guy and help others I can. Just as you can start your fire, read in game book and watch your meat cook. That's the beauty of this game, we are all free to be what we want, all we need to do is to avoid those who would bring us harm (unless the trouble it's what you are looking for).

You do realize that that deathmatches will be the least affected group ? They don't live long enough to suffer the consequences of exposure to rain or cold.

Ok so the horror element seems to be missing at this time. Why just because I don't enjoy reading virtual books or looking at fireplace because it's raining means I should play a different game ? Yes and turning the game into walking simulator when travelling between towns takes ages. You will see big drop in player numbers if the travelling between locations take too long, people are already pissed off at amount of running in this game. @up I didn't say temperature drops do not happen, but they are rare.
